It's country specific. The UK does not require that, some countries do.

Last am aware you don't have to have six months validity on your passport to apply for a UK visa. As long as your departure date from the UK is before the expiration of your passport.

Good morning house..please can someone put me through on the best way to apply for a UK visa..I applied for a UK visa last year November and was denied..I actually used an agent which I regret now..I gave the agent my passport and statement of account and went for my interview November 27th,then January I got denied but I was not told the reason by the agent..500,000 was returned from the 600,000 thousand initial payment I gave him

Last month I bought a US visa form because I had some one over there that wanted us to get married..an American but we are nolonger together..I wasn't able to get an an appointment date so I let the money go..I was actually told that I wouldn't get an appointment date but my man at that time insisted I buy the form that maybe I will be lucky..

Now I want to go back and apply for a UK visa..I have my private account and a company account,I have never used the company account which I opened 2018,i have never used the company account for any transaction only my private account..
Now my challenge is this..I intended to build my company and private account for six months and then apply for a UK visa November or December but my passport will expire April 2022 and I'm expected to have 6 months valid passport before I can apply and I read some where that Bihari has ordered the immigration to stop issuing passport for now..please can someone tell me the right way to go about this..thanks.

I got a credit alert of 127,500 from access bank..I opened a coperate account under diamond bank in 2016 before they merged with access..I opened it with fifty thousand naira and I was told they would be charging me seven thousand naira every month..i wanted them to be charging me one naira for one thousand naira in every transaction I make but my account officer advised against it and asked me to go for the monthly one but I didn't use it again for the reason I opened it which made the account to enter dormant after they took all the money in the account..
So today I got the credit alert and it says it's from or for waiver on outstanding and I don't know what that means..is it from scammers or they actually sent me that money and for what purpose?
No one has ever sent me money on my private account that I use regularly so what's happening?

Ever since I got a federal government job,

my relatives have been disturbing me for money.

There must always be an issue that involves money which they want me to solve.

Recently, my mom become sick.

They are threatening me that I would be held responsible if my mom dies,if I don't make sure she is cured.

But I have taken her to hospitals, and she is trying to recover.

I do this whenever I visit home since I am working in a state far from home.

Her health challenge is due to old age.

But today my uncle called me that I should resign, get back to the village and personally take care of my mom,

failure of which,if she dies, the whole family would hold me responsible for choosing job over my mom.

Can you imagine resigning your federal job to get to the village and start staying?

The calls, the demands, the attacks are getting too much for me.

Please should I just switch off my phone so that no one can contact me?

I just need advice?

UK Visa has nothing to do with US Visa application.
If you haven't used an agent for US Visa before, then proceed.
If you have used an agent for US Visa, try and get the info.

Use your phone. A cafe may not be too good an idea for security, spyware or phishing reasons.

You don't need to scan the receipt. There is a number on it you type into the appointment portal at ustraveldoc.com/ng

Your first priority should be the DS160 form.
Take your time to fill it. Even over 3-4 days. Don't rush it.

The one I did with an agent was UK visa..do I still need to call him for the DS160 or I need to create a new one since it's two different countries?I guess I need to go to the cafe to fill it or can it be done with my phone..for the receipt, should I scan it or is there another way I can show that I have paid?thanks once again.

You did not pay for Visa Form.
You paid for Visa Fees (Appointment and Interview)
This is what the payment at GTB covers.

The form is free and available online at ceac.state.gov. It is called DS160

When you fill it, you then go to ustraveldoc.com/ng to book the appointment for the interview, where you have to show evidence of payment (GTB receipt) and your DS160 number.

Since you have used an agent before, call the agent to give you your previous DS160 profile (I hope it wasn't embellished) and also the previous login details used for the ustraveldocs.com/ng (If not available, you can create another, but you must know what was filled for you previously)

They just asked for my passport and bank statement which I provided then I went for interview in Abuja and the only thing they asked me was my name and age then I captured..

Did you give them all required documents or they just collect your passport and package your application?

I asked the person that introduced to the agent to get the refusal letter and he said there was no refusal letter because it was a special package but I think he didn't ask him at all..but I was told that is I was banned it would be written on my passport?please enlighten me..

Its best you ask the agent for the refusal letter so you are sure of what happened exactly.

UK always state the reason(s) for visa refusal.
