You are very right..it seems God is about to give us a man of integrity..this election will determine how neutral the IG is..he has been fair since he became the IG..not the other foolish man that would block the national assembly which is not constitutional thinking buhari would extend his tenure but was disappointed.i pray he continues to be fair.

We have been married for almost 10 years now, with 5 kids. The last child is over 2 years old. My wife used to indulge me with sex a lot. And I enjoyed every bit of it. Sometimes I indulge her a lot too. I do sometimes resist it. Same with her too. Such has been our sex life so far; which has been good enough.

However, I started noticing a lot of reluctance in her each time I approach her for sex more than a year ago now. And it is getting worse these days. Each time I demand an explanation from her, she either complains of tiredness, headache or that she is seeing her period. Had to travel to Abuja to vote. Left a job I'm doing @north east in order to vote.the postponement is affecting me because I have to travel for over 7 hours. Can we just stop living fake lives? Who exactly are we trying to impress? Boys, why are you always snapping pictures beside a car that isn't yours? Girls, why are lying that you study in the UK? Since life is full of ups and downs, we would, at one point in time, be tempted to live fake lives to please people and get their approval, avoid shame and get their praise and respect. Don't do it. Be matured and know that people's perspective about you does not define you or determine your worth so stop trying to belong or impress people that don't even give you a penny. If you are already living a fake life, try to start strategically coming out with the truth because the longer you live a fake life, the harder it is to come out with the truth. It would be disastrous and embarrassing when people finally find out. If you come out clean and that girl or boy you are eyeing doesn't want you, let the person go. If you come out clean and those group of friends start misbehaving and don't want you anymore, let them go. Everyone cannot be your friend and what they think no dey put food for your table. If your status, bio or whatever on social media says you study in UK while you are here in Nigeria, remove it. If your status, bio or whatever on social media says that you are working at Chevron while you are actually jobless, remove it. It's better to live it blank than tell lies. Use your discretion to come out clean or if you can't come out, don't say anything at all and don't lie any further.

If you have a friend that is living a fake, don't judge them instead show them that you are never going to leave his/her side and try to make him/her stop living a fake life. If they decide to come out clean, be by your friend's side and be his/her pillar while they face the shame. This is 2019, I hope boys and girls would stop living fake lives and start being real. Anyone, even if it is your childhood or close friend that you may have helped, that is rich and looking down on you should go to hell. Stop this habit.

Some would say "fake it until you make it," if you don't end up making it nko? If the success comes when you are 50 something nko? You think success is anyone's birthright? The universe doesn't give a damn about anyone. Please, nairaland boys and girls that are guilty of this, let this stop.

For the sake of humour and education, share your experience living a fake life and if you were caught, share it. No one is here to judge anyone. This life is a mystery. I can picture the mother trying to keep the boy away from his father as a kid, a man who did not contribute anything to his welfare. She was the one with him through childhood sicknesses, she did the hard work but now that he's all grown, the young man rebels and decides to search for his dad against her wish
The dad will surely reap where he did not sow, he'll turn the guy to a bank where he can withdraw money at will. After a few years the young man will learn the true nature of his father but he won't still severe the relationship. His father will use him until his last breath meanwhile the mum will gradually soften her stance (wetin she go do before?) It always ends this way and the cycle continues.

What are you even saying?what if the man married the mother from the village..took her to America she started fucking around and misbehaving then later sent the man out of the house which forced the man back to Nigeria?

Before creating this topic, I tried to search nairaland to see if there's something like this but I couldn't find. The closest I saw were advices on how to go about things when your parents object to your marital decision.

I am currently at a crossroad in my marital decision. My mother does not want me to marry my fiance because of her mother's behaviour.

This is not a unique issue and I know many people have faced something like that in the past.

I know all the advices but what I want to know experience of people who have gone ahead despite their parents' disapproval.

If you have gotten married without your parents' consent, what was your experience? Can you kindly share, so everyone can learn?

What is the the bad behavior her mother showed that made your mother disapprove of your woman? we need to know before we can say if your mother is right or wrong..then if your mother is wrong you go ahead and marry her.
