Na seyi tinubu go run this government las las! Tinubu that couldnt pressure buhari to build refinery so that when he comes into power it would have solved most of his problems. If buhari had built a working refinery , most ppl wont complain since we have crude. You want ppl to import and compete with NNPC abi that earns forex from selling crude. If you like go to Russia to import, NNPC sef go enter russia import but can you compete with Dangote and NNPC ?lai lai. I know some will say run your business effciently bla bla blah guy na naija we dey o. Tinubu let Dangote refinery start producing and see how much it will sell for and everybody must feel am o not only the poor. Cost of governance is still too high, MAKE GOVERNANCE LESS LUCRATIVE AND MORE OF A SERVICE TO THE NATION.

We should close Nigeria down o. They cant even wait till dangote finishes his refinery.. At least we can use his prices to determine the final pump price. In fact why cant they just keep importing till the end of the year or until when dangote starts producing at full capacity. People will know the price that truly reflects the production cost of a litre of pms in Nigeria and then prepare for full deregulation.

Do you know that this building control people dont have a database of the number of buildings that have approval. They keep harassing people everyday about their approvals instead of using that time to checkmate this kind of occurrence. They tell you to bring your approval to their office otherwise they issue notice of demolition. They tell you Mr man you can't build this here but you see your neighbour build the same thing.

Guys i have travelled to the uk without a valid visitor visa and they let me stay for 5 days instead of the 2 weeks i intended to stay and yes i was detained for some hours. My passport was given to the pilot upon return back to Nigeria.. Be humble thats all no go dey form i am this and that. Fix your own country or dont travel to the uk. How can a head of operations not know company's logo or directors. You dey sue instead of you to sue your own government for making you incompetent enough not to know your company's logo.

Hmm madam thesame happened to my wife but i thank God is 1k nd it was refunded by the POS agent. She try using her card but the guy said it was declined. She came back and got alert of 1k deducted from her account by the POS. She went back the next day and showed the guy the lert, he was still adamant. She went to the bank and layed a complain, the customer care checked her system it showed money was deducted. The customer care told my wife to go and collect her money from the POS. I followed her, saw the guy told him that we are coming from the bank now, he should give me the 1k. He was just ranting here nd there but after everything he gave us the 1k. We should be careful of using POS for transactions. Some of this guy's are not smiling. So madam in my humble opinion, go to the bank and print ur statement of account from that day u made that transaction, go with some older guys or ur husband (if u are married), present the statement to him, he can't deny it.

Oga if a transaction shows declined on a pos receipt you can still get debited without it being the agent's fault. The agent is protected by law not to issue the money until you lay a complaint and fill a dispense error form or call your bank customer care to confirm the status of the transaction , whether it was truly declined or approved before accusing the agent. The money can still be taken out of the agent account with or without their knowledge and then the customers gets double money. This happens always infact some businesses lose a lot of money from customers going to their banks to say I got debited no value and banks will give 1 day to a merchant to respond and if not will take the money out and give a customer for an approved transaction . it is not always the merchant fault.

Nigerian's do not have a right to obtain a US visa... which likely explains why the Ministry of External Affairs cannot weigh in. You have a right to apply for a visa, you have a right to be heard, but the VO/embassy is not obligated to grant you a visa. The "wahala" you go through at the embassy is squarely the fault of Nigerians - 1) too many people are applying for US visas (no embassy can handle the sheer volume of Nigerians seeking US visas); 2) too many Nigerians have abused their visas, these have serious consequences on subsequent visa applicants, regardless of how genuine they may present.

The real problem isn't the embassy, it is us.

why should they have appointments for 2024 and they know fully well you have to pay before booking an appointment, cos some people might prefer 2024 and want a particular date and decide to pay for it. if the embassy collects money from someone who booked 2024 and then says o it expires in one year , isnt that wayo wayo... it is not Nigerians fault that they issue visas to people and those people decide to overstay . They have no fault and make no mistakes based on their policy , so they shouldn't blame Nigerians for overstayers, they chose to issue the visa, the ones that overstayed didn't issue themselves visas. They should work on those that misused their visa not blame a whole country for their own misjudgment. If they say no Nigerian should come to the USA people go adjust.

They are still collecting visa fee o for appointments in 2024. Chai ! Why can't they just say no appointment till further notice. No one should be allowed to make one till they resume fully and keep it at only emergency appointment.

I know Canada is good o. But why would you want someone earning 1 million a month to leave the job in Nigeria then start doing odd jobs first , even if the person gets a job immediately, it can't be the same cos for you to be earning such amount in Nigeria you are probably a top shot in that company and most likely a multinational. The probability of career growth is very high , or is everybody in Nigeria suffering ? The percentage of ppl that earn 500k and 1 million in Nigeria a month o is very small . If that is the case everybody that gets issued USA visa would never come back. I mean everybody.. The majority of ppl that stay back in USA with visitors visa prolly hate their jobs and not doing well financially in naija so that's understandable. If I have a good job in naija of 500 k to 1 million, my kids can be born abroad , and later school abroad sef. I know things can go bad but that would mean everybody that ever earned that in Nigeria have all had it bad after retiring. Some ppl have earned so much in naija that they can now live anywhere in the world. People have made so much from working legally o not wayo wayo politics in naija that they can't suffer again, cos at the end of the day it's all about how you manage that money. I am not saying things can't go bad but you have to look to see if the same applies for everyone in naija or stuff can happen anywhere

They look at both. So u need to Balance the both. Let your spending/withdrawal be in portion with your monthly expenses asked in the application form. Then your deposit be from all your sources of income. Any large deposit apart from your sources of earning need to be explained with proof.

thanks . I have had some huge deposits prior to the start of the 6 month period which is still in my account , do i need to explain the source of the deposited funds before the 6 month period commenced or i only need to explain any large deposit within the 6 month period?

If you have the opportunity to study abroad without breaking sweat to get the funds my guy go o because what you will learn outside university alone is more than what some people that head government agencies in Nigeria cant relate to. Even mixing with people for 6 months from other countries or locals, o boy ur perspective about life will change. Although job is not guaranteed but some people underestimate learning outside class. UK is not worth going to except engineering , medicine , core IT maybe accounting even you are better off studying nursing self than accounting. UK exchange rate now is no joke o . if the university can't guarantee me internship in a company in UK , with a 2:1 . I can't go to UK. Canada is offering citizenship and cost less to school there . so for me US AND CANADA everywhere else na major risk the former are calculated risk.

Over a month now and they are yet to verify, we have visited the school to make complaint still nothing was done.

It’s so unfair.

WES sent another verification request last week, UNILAG Records Department is still insisting that they have not received it.

They still haven't sent my transcipt for almost a month now.

WES is asking me to submit a Confirmation of Award letter(MSc) in order to complete my evaluation. Please has anyone experienced this?
