CareerRe: NairaLanders Who Was/Is Your Worst Boss Ever??? by Secretz(f): 9:05pm On Sep 14, 2009
My worst boss was one lesbian woman like this, always trying to touch me. Anytime I came into work not smiling, not because I was upset or anything, just because I was not for that moment, she would pull me aside and be like, 'how are you? are you okay? are there any problems at home?' shocked In such a patronising, condescending way (using this as an opportunity to 'stroke' me. embarassed

She was a real b!tch to people though. Never spoke with/to you, always at you. So forgetful, would turn the whole building upside down if she never got her way. She had the most complaints filed against anyone, ever. One day after coming back from holiday, woooooosh, she had supposedly 'resigned'. . . . but we all know she was SACKED!!! grin

This is just a phase I think your child will get over with love and discipline.
My brother was a "terror" when he was at that age and infact had to change schools because the teachers were tired of him like your child's case BUT he wasn't in anyway sick infact he is a grown cool guy now lol. Love your child and discipline him too. He will come good . And pray too.
You sabi correct. I let mummy read this thread, she said 'han han, you were 3 times as bad!'. lol  tongue
RomanceRe: your Preference - Your Man Is Making Honest Living - Or A Good Standard Of Living? by Secretz(f): 1:51pm On Sep 11, 2009
Yumi:
well some of us do like me for example. I do. If a man is honest you will respect him so much. When woman say its ok for you to con and lie to make a living or a better standard of living they are telling you they don't really love you. Why would you want to spend your life with a woman that doesn't love you?
You are right hun, atleast for me too. I wouldn't really respect a man deep  down if hes doing dodgy-ness financially to 'support' the family long term. I will be thinking that 1. He is truly lazy 2. What happens if/when he gets caught? This mainly applies to those who can actually be honest and make money through genuine and sincere means. It is not a stable lifestyle for any responsible man with a family. And I don't know if the love I will have would be genuine either. However, you can have a good standard of living through honest means.  tongue  grin

TheSeeker:
Making a honest living depends on where you work and who you work with. For instance, if I'm a state governor, all those baseless allowances set out by the constitution, are they honest incomes?

You're a senator - a member of a senatorial committee - and money was offered your chairman to speed up an approval, you want to tell me you'll not partake of the largesse? You definitely have to, if you don't, they'll think you're going go be seen as an outcast and you know how it goes in the political scene.

The truth is, in every profession there are many corrupt people, a lot of them. If you try to be honorable without being careful about it, you're a goner; and for you to be careful and avoid their notice (which is not possible) you've got to be father Abraham.

It all depends on where you work and what position you occupy.
I see what you mean. . . . but, I'm not sure if she meant jobs/positions like those. Or maybe she did.  tongue

@Secretz In the UK, unless you want to go private, and even then you will need a referral letter from your GP, these kinds of referrals have to be via a GP, so she will have to see a doctor in the first instance before she can see a behavioural specialist.

Some Autistic Kids have other issues apart from behavioural, some have sensory issues and some have speech difficulties and others have motor difficulty.

Autism is not like appendicitis; in which you have either got it or you haven’t, Autism covers a very wide range of symptoms and can range from very mild to very severe.

People can actually have mild autism without even realising it.
You are very correct. But there is also a high possibility he has ADHD. There is a differece though. However, she should get him checked out. Only a specialist will know. I am going based on my experience with these children and the likely hood. People automatically asume their child is autistic when infact they are not and end up being diagnosed with something else. wink
FamilyRe: Pls... by Secretz(f): 11:30am On Sep 11, 2009
Hmmmm . . . . . .

Ok I work with Special needs kids and to be honest those who are autistic just have extreme behavioural differences compared to supposed 'normal' children. You do NOT NEED to take your child to a Doctor, please go and train him well!!!! He is behaving like a normal naughty child. The only 'disabled' children that get my time and attention and I would recommend taking to the Doctors are those who are clearly physically disabled.

Discipline your child, even if you're in Europe, please don't let these oyinbo people label your child with stupidness. He can walk, talk, interact etc. If you are that concerned about his behaviour, you can always go see a behavioural specialist to clear your mind as he might have 'Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder' (ADHD or AD/HD). However, I think he's still quite young though. . . . remember he is 3, what 3 year old isn't like this? grin

Missy B:
If Your concept of 'a good standard of living' equals mine,
then I don't understand why it's opposing ' honest living'.

Can't he obtain a good standard of living through an honest means?
You sabi correct sister. grin

Some people are under the presumption that an honest means of living means you are in the 'poorish lifestyle' category. Is not being a Doctor, Engineer, Teacher etc an honest means of living? Yet they all pretty much live in nice comfortable abodes etc.

Those dodgy people sef who are not making an honest means of living . . . . well it will soon catch up with them. Nuff said. grin

I love cleaning my bathroom, toilet and kitchen. . .I believe these are the most crucial parts of one's home to tell if they are really dirty people or not. lipsrsealed

Haven't really got tips, but use gloves and soak your dishes in hot soapy water with a slice of lemon, leave it and go do other parts of the house and come back to it before using a SPONGE not just rinsing to clean it wella wella. lipsrsealed

Not bothered about ironing . . . . don't care about the creases as long as it looks presentable. tongue

Y Me,

Thanks for that reply, girls will say anything about sex has to be in a relationship. If you jump the talking it out then comes the assumption. As you have said, it is the problem with girls and thats the question here. How many women will know sex is sex?
When they are point blank-ly told. tongue
