I know a family that used to have house helps and it was always one problem or the other, which is what you would expect from children left by their parents to work in a strange home where the will to help them secure their future is not necessarily there. So they got wiser and started employing an adult - a married woman of about 40 years old - to do house-keeping for them during normal working hours (8am to 5pm).
