Celeritas01: Okay sir... Thanks, but here is the thing, I am not a worker, I am student, on an extended break sir.. This should be easy if you can provide them with evidence of your school holiday and make sure you explain yourself clearly that is if they even ask about how long you plan to spend in the States. |

Celeritas01: Okay.. Thanks.. Is it advisable to book for a visit as much as six weeks, please house, advice me.. I have been to the US before for just 6 days. 6 weeks can work, sure why not just make sure you have a letter authorizing the 6 weeks leave from your company with you on your way to U.S (For POE) |

falopey: Some one just came into Atlanta And they stamped her passport No AOS means no adjustment of status
Also No EOS meaning no extension of status. So no longer extending your 6monnts stay Or adjustment of status maybe for permanent residence for new arrivals while you are here. Many people are having their passport stamped that way now. Perhaps it means something different. I hope it does. lolzzz... keep deceiving yourself |

Ebalu953: Well I don't think this is called "over staying" I would want to believe he arrived in may and was stamped in for 6months (although its not advisable to stay the whole 6months). The usa gives this time incase of uncertainties. Things come up, plans change. I think you should just take all documents to back up your claims. Asides that, you are good to go. Goodluck! It's B1.... That visa was strictly for Conference/Seminar etc.... A month is asking for too much, how I wish he returned to Nigeria immediately after his Conference before doing anything in U.S but what do I know. |

tzetzefly: Nice to know that the thread is manned by very capable hands as it were. Seyewest, Juswise, Madam LadyG, Omobendel24 among others. I will state here that you guys have been doing a very good job on this forum even despite your tight schedules I presume.
HOWEVER AN ADVISE TO PROSPECTIVE APPLICANTS:
I must state that if an applicant does not have a genuine reason(s) to travel to the States, please do not waste your precious funds on visa fees not to mention the resultant negative psychological devastation.
The reform in immigration process is very real not just at the Embassy/ Consulate, but at the Point of Entry.
A word of caution please!
Attached is an entry stamp of a traveller to Atlanta.
Have a nice day! Boss! |

Do you still assist people with obtaining a Dubai Visit Visa?
Me & my girlfriend will be visiting Dubai early next year & she needs a Visa since she’s a Nigerian Citizen while I don’t need one since I’m a United States Citizen.
Like how much will a Travel Package including Visa, Flight & Accommodation cost both of us for a two weeks vacation stay in Dubai & are there any discounts available? Send me a PM, I will get in touch with you. |

Is 3 days Transit possible?
I thought the maximum you’re allowed is two days?
I booked my Trip for December back to Nigeria with Etihad Airways & was granted the Abu Dubai Stopover
My trip is New York ~ London ~ Abu Dhabi ~ Lagos
I will arrive Abu Dhabi on Wednesday Morning & then leave for Lagos on Friday Morning...
So technically I only got two days... Transit visa is for 72 hours which is 3 days, maybe you should have called them before booking the flight for verification. ( I know about Emirates not so sure of Etihad) |

Ess: I learnt I can book the Visa via their website directly so far I have a ticket.
I will be entering thru LA...then find my way round till I reach NY before departing back to Abuja. Make sense if that's what you want to do, book the flight first (remember to do advance booking so you can include the 3 days in your ticket) and call them or visit their office for them to do the booking. |

Ess: This place is dry o!
I noticed that I will have a transit of 22hrs and now i want to just stay for 3 days before proceeding to US. Im yet to buy my tickets and thinking of adding 3 days as transit...
I beg Seye how this Dubai transit visa dey work? You know ticket prices are quite high at the moment and people prefer to learn from this thread and not give back to people who needed to learn. As per your trip, I believe your intending Airline is Emirates and if it will be flying from Abuja I believe the Emirates Connect is possible, if from Lagos I think you should do the 3 days transit. By the way which City are you flying to? |

OmoBendel24: My brother, na those people dem their posts all the way from part 1 mostly build us oh, even if we no use unnecessary question take torment them, not even necessary ones except some 1, 2, or 3 question(s), and that na after we don drink much at their feet oh!
Till now, I still read every page, addictive and fun. Abuja early dates pop up yesterday, na here I from know, my cousin in the US needed that info seriously for his parents.... Dem no dey pass only one place take dey see sun Same here about the date oooo..... Everyone was respectful, no insult and when the V.O speaks we all listen attentively... |

OmoBendel24: I really wish people will just come here and at least first agree they haven’t read more than a page or two instead of pretending that they have read much. Their questions keep betraying them, and someone like me will also join them and pretend like I didn’t see their post too. The most that will happen is you will be referred back to the first page or to some previous thread maybe.
When I joined nairaland and the US Visit Visa thread, I took particular interest in even previous posts by Tsetsefly especially, VisaOfficer, AbujaNIV, LagosNIV, then Fastlink, LadyG and Thegreengooner (these were people whose takes were loaded and captivating at the time and till now) amongst others in spite of limited time, I’m better for it. My first and second question on here had some good space between because I was catching up after work, every night as I lay there on my bed till sleep comes. Was showing stuff to my wife alongside as I saw something new and important to us.
There are some people either sharing or liking posts from even as early as 2016, I wish I knew them sef, I won’t hesitate to answer all of their questions to the best of my ability as time and opportunity avails, they are serious, clearly! Way back baba.... when it was fun and adventure, when we read every page of this forum like bible.... I miss those Visa Officer, Tsetsefly, LadyG, thegreengooner, Nef and you self you dey try my brother... |

1984och: Good day Sirs and Mas,
I am so happy to have stumbled on this thread. Though I was not able to go through from part 1 completely till part 4. I have a very simple question and I'll like for our experienced brothers and sisters to assist me with answers.....especially madam LadyGuinivere.
I have a blood brother in the states. We are too close. He calls me like almost every day. He has 10 years permanent residence, which was given to him about 2 years ago. It's been over 10 years he left. Now he wants to invite me to the USA. I read about D-160, B2 and all.
*What are the documents he would need to send to me aside from the invitation letter?*
*Any other info?*
Please kindly help me. God bless you all How did your blood brother enter the U.S? |

Generalkorex: Quick one please. How does someone cancel an appointment with US embassy in Lagos and book a new one in the UK. Like he already booked an appointment with US Embassy in Lagos before, but he's not in Lagos and he wouldn't be available on the appointment date since he is now in UK. now he wants to cancel and Book another one in the UK
How can he go about that please He won't be able to transfer his visa fees to UK because he made payment in Nigeria not UK and the payment is non-transferable. |
