PoliticsRe: Buhari Reappoints Dabiri Arewa As NIDCOM Chairman by Shattuck(m): 8:56pm On May 02, 2023
N3TRAL:
Say whatever you like about Aunty Abike but the fact remains that without her many of us ( even those who have resided abroad) wouldn't know NIDCOM.

To make Nigeria a better place, individuals must make a change in any position they find themselves. It may be difficult for them but it will improve the country.

As a person vested with responsibility, all you need to do is to be exceptional in your office.

If you think I'm capping, let me give you practical examples 😂:

1. Who is the Head of NAFDAC (don't google it). 90% of those reading this won't know. However, when the Late Dora Akunyili was the head of NAFDAC everyone reading this would scream her name.

2. Who was the former NDLEA boss?
It looked like a useless organisation until Marwa was handed the job.

3. Who was Obasanjo's chief of staff from 1999- 2007? You won't know except you are deeply involved in politics. Who was Yaradua's chief of staff? Who was Jonathan's Chief of Staff. Okay, let's not go backwards- who is Buhari's current Chief of Staff? 😂
.
When Abba Kyari was in charge, almost everyone here would scream his name. With his office, he was stronger than the Vice President.

4. People in Ogun State or Kebbi State would not know Dave Umahi if he wasn't exceptional. If you're doubting who was Dave Umahi's predecessor? 😂

I can go on and on but remember that has an individual you can make any position you occupy stand out, you can also make the position you occupy go into oblivion.

Just be the best because prestige comes with personality not an office!
she is doing ok in comparison to the fact she works for a govt that has failed, the major issue folks have with her is her mixing her office with her political affiliation with tinubu the drug lord/mandate thief/ kleptomaniac.

Leadership is not for the weak or for those without a sound political base.

Nigeria has gained by electing a brilliant mind in Tinubu.

A brilliant Finance technocrat.
An effective and innovative administrator and manager.
An astute politician.

A round peg in a round hole.
you guys can't fool anyone with this stupid talk, when osinbanjo ran for apc primary the only people who objected and insulted the gentleman were tinubu's supporters, we remember how you guys cursed him, only children of darkness and hate would do such a thing, I supported obi but I was happy osinbanjo was also in the race, knowing well that either of the two would be good for Nigeria, but enemies of the land don't believe in Nigeria, they only believe in their greed and the only way that greed can be achieved is through a demented, drug dealing/taking old kleptomaniac. Shame on all tinubu supporters.

I consider Peter Obi an evil man.
my take on peter obi, I do not think he is perfect, I've seen people who criticize him, I don't take offence to that, but you can't criticize obi from a moral and ethical perspective and then turn around to support one the the worst if not the worst creature in Nigeria's political history, you can't call out obi and be supporting tinubu.

I hate when you guys say a place's growth has nothing to do with leadership yet at the same time claim leadershipnis responsible when it retrogresses.
Lagos is not growing at the pace it should be, Lagos cannot even be compared to other cities in the world even among African cities in terms of livability and infrastructure, your usual defence when you guys are being hit with facts is to compare Lagos with other Nigerian cities, which is a very shallow way of thinking, Lagos has always being the commercial capital of Nigeria even before tinubu became governor, this particular facts you know, but you guys always willfully ignore the obvious.

Even the zombies know that Bola Tinubu was the only organic politician amongst the top contenders who were all political prostitutes and ticket hunters.

As Aisha Yesufu rightly said, Tinubu was slowly building his party.

That patience and labour is cannot be found with the likes of Obi who was even bequeathed the leadership of APGA by Ojukwu, but he abandoned to go to the same PDP he had previously condemned.
building your party that is a personal stuff, becoming a president that is a people stuff, we all know his political story, the presidency is not an entitlement to any politician who has built a party, neither is it an entitlement to the oldest politician in the room, it is a people's trust, Aisha tweet does not justify anything.

I'm on a different frequency and wavelength.

You can't understand me.

I'm saying that the only way I could be an obidient is if the movement was honest about pursuing an ethnic and religious agenda. I'll zero my mind about positive change in the next 4 years and support the movement.

When you tell me that your movement is about positive change, yet I see hundreds of "feminists", "lawyers" and other "respectable" people in the society protesting for the release of a clergyman who is notorious for raping and molesting girls in his church just because he prophesied in favour of Peter Obi, I laugh because I know I'm vindicated.

I have morals. I'd feel stupid defending the Obidient movement on any ground apart from ethnicity and religion.
you have morals? Yet you support a drug dealer 😂😂😂 you defend a flawed and corrupt govt and electoral process, you have morals my ass.

I'm not justifyling anyting. Infact, I am ready to eat my words if the judges find in favour of Obi or Atiku. But as things stand, add the votes of LP, PDP and NNPP, and compare them with APC, and you will know I am right.

Saying that the PDP was split into three is a fact, not a justification of any electoral issues. One can believe that the Nigerian elections were not great, and at the same time see why the oppositon lost.

Buhari lost 3 times because he ran at the head of a divided opposition. It was when he got the opposition united in 2014 that he won.

LOL....you remind me of the American journalist who could not believe her candidate lost the elecitons of 1972, because 'she knew no one who voted for his opponent'.

A lot of muslims voted LP and a lot of christians voted PDP and APC. The fact is, people vote what they know...and if they know PDP and APC, they vote PDP and APC. PDP and APC lost in the South East because tribe and in parts of the North Central because people were pissed with both PDP and APC. Otherwise, religion does not appear to have played a role like you think.

For now, the trick that Atiku and Tinubu played was to make Obi look like the christian candidate, and let's be honest, most christians don't like that.

Also, APC and PDP have structures. As hard as LP tried, and they did, at the end, structures matter a lot. That is why PDP, and APC are no 1 and 2.

(In my locality, LP won. A lot of people I knew voted LP. Me? I have refused to vote for PDP, or APC people, and that included Obi and Kwankwaso since 2003 because they are all part of the elite corruptus in my eyes).
ok let's wait on the court hopefully they get to dispense justice to whoever truly won.
PoliticsRe: Why Tinubu’s Victory Took Foreign Commentators By Surprise — FG by Shattuck(m): 2:17pm On Apr 13, 2023
nairalanda1:
No, because Obi, Kwakwaso, and Wike did not behave like Osibanjo, Buhari, and Amaechi, and others of their ilk....

If Obi, and Kwakwaso's vote had gone to PDP, plus as an added bonus if Wike had been a loyal and proper party man, APC would have lost the election so badly that we would have been calling it a landslide. But no, they split the party, and as a result, APC cruised to victory.

Mwanwhile in APC, it was blatantly obvious that many party men did not like Tinubu. But when election time came, they all stayed in the party and worked for his victory.

When the opposition is divided, a badly performing ruling party has done 3/4 of the job it needs to win.

Nothing like rigging....especially since APC lost states like KKK and Lagos. And swathes of the NE.

(Of course, if the tribunal rules in Obi's favour, I will gladly eat my words. But as it stands, APC won because PDP was divided).
all this irrelevant opinion on how pdp was divided into three" it seem as if every Nigerian is a card carrying member of either apc or pdp. 99 percent of people who voted are not party members, it is very foolish when you guys want to justify the flawed election you always say pdp was split into three, I voted for obi same with almost all folks around me none of this people own party membership card. Going by your logic, religion and ethnicity also play a part it would be also correct to say obi won just because the Muslim vote was split into three, which only obi had the christian vote, you see my own opinion is even makes more sense because religion was more of a factor to the voters than even party affiliation which is largely non existent among voters, even if party affiliation was to be considered I fail to understand why apc thinks it works in their favour when the party is a failure nationally, then I begin to wonder why some of you think your so called spread worked for you.

LiteratureRe: “I Strongly Disagree With Prof. Soyinka” - Chimamanda Adichie by Shattuck(m): 8:36am On Apr 12, 2023

Arise TV is located Inside Lagos South West Nigeria and this Same Station keeps brining people into their Studio to denigrate and Insult our own leaders from the South West we hold with so much Esteem and In High Repute and Regards.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was on Arise TV Yesterday and said and I quote

"Professor Wole Soyinka is not restrained in words himself".

These people at the slightest Oppourtunity ever, never cease to show how uncultured and Ill-mannered they are.

On Same Interview on Arise Tv, She mentioned she has a House in the USA and One in Lagos, I was so shocked she didn't mention she had a House in Anambra.

After she spoke Ill of Professor Wole Soyinka not being restraint in Words, she shoved a smile as if to giggle which is characteristic of someone that has done evil and knows it.

It was visible even blind eyes could see the interviewer was a fan to the unsettled lady he was interviewing.

At every given instance she catches her breath the Charles Guy interviewing her agrees with everything she says and also affirms everybody would agree with her.

That right there is exactly where the problem is from.

Obidients see themselves as "Everybody".

Obidients see themselves as larger than life.

Obidients think they should take my own decisions for me on my behalf.

Obidients believes what is good for them is what is good for "Everybody".

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie said her reason she chose Peter Obi as her candidate was because he had personally gone to pay Homage in the past to her father and Mother.

It's about her and them alone.

The World must revolve around her and her people alone because they are the special ones and choosen one's

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is the First Ever *Biafran-American* I know of.

If for anything I am so glad this 2023 Presidential Elections Exposed the Wolves in sheep clothing's amongst us. The Enemies within.

Those that Sleep, Eat and Drink with us but dont love us.

You have a House in Lagos and you are not for Bola Ahmed Tinubu a one time Governor of Lagos but you prefer a Peter Obi that can not guarantee Your Safety in Anambra.

Now that Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie got to make a trip to Nigeria, I can bet her itenery within Nigeria would be all about Lagos alone and maybe Abuja and nothing at all about Anambra and yet you Prefer Peter Obi to Bola Tinubu.

How these people seat logic in the Head Baffles me.

In this clip, I have taken my time to respond adequately and Robustly to her infamous Letter to the President of the Free-World Joe Biden.

I am so Dissapointed in Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie to say the Least.

look at your sense of reasoning, she has a house in Lagos, that means she should automatically support a drug lord, because the drug lord built the house for her. Tinubu supporters are some of the most foolish individuals their sense of reasoning makes you wonder what century you are in, in this time and day.

Useless people. You want to suppress freedom of speech. He was one of those who first condemned attacks in Lagos, he was one of those who first believe presidency should go to the SE, but they are now saying he didn't come home and campaign for OBI if he really mean business. The musician twins that were vibrating before the elections, ran out just few days to the election to USA for shows. They didn't even vote.

In the same interview, he condemned FG fining Channels TV and scolded them, but just because what he condemned section of what datti said on national TV, because what his eyes and so many comrades suffer under the military junta, their brains exploded in one side.
While people like wole Soyinka, bakare, rewane, late pa adesanya , tinubu, akande, fayemi , frank kokori, kudirat, fayehinmi, Ndubuisi Kanu,pa enahoro, , abubaka Umar, osobas, kutis, pa Clark and many other heros of democracy (many lost their lives, many escaped bullet wounds and escaped assassinations like wole Soyinka), were fighting military era by fire, some sections of these country were doing Youths Earnestly Ask For Abacha YEAA led by one kanu then. Matching 3 million man match for military era. What nonsense!. Na talk they wan hear today.

I now believe seriously that this people have a secret agenda that failed already disguising under makinga Nigeria work. Is anything more than that interviews that is his personal opinions or another interviews?
Many didn't even watch that interviews and didn't even bother to watch the recap just just following mob actions.
The man has paid his dues, no human Born dead or alive can overturn his achievements, never. Una go wail, frustrate Una self until death. Just look at how the man was vibrating? He can just collapse if care is not taking.
I feel same way too even though I support obi, I think the attack on Soyinka is unwarranted, dude has paid his dues even though we may not always agree on everything he says but at least let's be logical in our thinking some of this obi supporters dey shame me Sha I was disappointed in Charley boys remark.

Let’s talk like sane minds.

—Can you tell me 3 states that Obi lost that you think he could have won?

I have been monitoring election and I can tell you boldly that since 1999, this is the most freest and fairest election when you compare to previous elections

When I say freest and fairest. I am not saying this election don’t have its challenges but if you weigh the overall percentage, it is better than most of the election since 1999. Even 2015 election that brought Buhari in had governors writing results in their states and the biggest writer won it. That was when Rivers churned out crazy unrealistic numbers including some Northern states.

An election where most of the heavyweight were defeated enmasse and where vast percentage of incumbent Senators and House of reps candidate were not returned should not be said to be rigged.

If this election is truly rigged, Obi will never win a state outside the SE because what we used to have as rigging is just some people writing figures and in this election, that reduced drastically to the lowest level since 1999.
these are some things I would like you to know. 1. You know the reason people are more angry about this election than the previous ones, these election had all the necessary requirement and tech advancement to ensure transparency, with the use of bvas and upload of result from polling units why did inec fail to abide by its own guildlines when the were uploading national assembly election result that were conducted same time
2. Apc folks trying to paint obi and his supporters as just a tribal movement is the most foolish propaganda tool ever over 70 percent(I stand to be corrected) of his votes came from outside the south east. 3 the usual way of trying to justify the rigging by saying sitting governors lost their election is also quite insensitive, was obi contesting for governorship? So why use another man's case to judge mine when I have verifiable evidence to justify my accusation, but you don't want to take these evidence into consideration you would rather keep repeating the usual propaganda tool of how he won Lagos, like the mission was to win Lagos.
