Dear Nairalanders
I just finish my OND,but I planned going for my HND but there is no helper that could help because my both parents are late, and it is just me and my other siblings and I just manage to have ND.

I planned to get a job so that I can save up little to start my HND.

I have search for job but could not get any, so i just got this opportunity and I want to seek your advice on which one I should go for

The bank Cleaner is 17k per month and I will spend #200 daily for transport, the petrol attendant is just few kilometer to where we stay and the basic salary is just 10,000,and #150 for feeding daily.

I am just a bit confused on which one I can choose.

I will make it very brief. Please I need your advice.
I've been a nairalander since 2016 but this is my first official post.

My father is a good, noble and humble man. A successful business man. He's very proud of us (his children), we're also proud of him. We're 3. I'm 29 years of age, the eldest and only son. He make sure we don't lack anything. We all went to one of the prestigious Private University in Nigeria. I and my immediate baby sis are graduate, while last born still in 300l.

The problem is that, my father don't know how to dress, he prefer to wear faded and worn out clothes. My dad drive highlander 2014 model. If my Dad comes down from his car, you will think he's a driver to an imaginary Boss because of the way he dressed.
Blessed memories of my beloved mom May her soul R.I.P. She was always complaining and sometimes my Dad won't listen to her.

I'm a good fashion designer, my love for fashion is topnotch. I also own a laundry store and a barbing store. I've been privileged to sew some clothes for comedian Buchi which he loves so much and he promised to patronize me again.

GOD in heaven knows how many lovely, mature and soft dress I've sew and bought for my father with my money. He only wears it once and won't wear it again, there are some he haven't put on at all. He celebrated his birthday August, I bought this nice shirt 18k for him as a gift. Till today he hasn't put it on.

Please note: money is not his problem. The other day he stopped by at my store, I and my boys were working. He noticed nobody was using one of my industrial machines. He asked and I said it was faulty. He said how much? I said 170k but I'll change it soon before January....(because I just wrapped my car from corolla to ES Lexus)....Before I could say Jack... Baba don send me 200k. I ordered the machine instantly.

See what happened this morning, He got an invitation to attend a meeting. The smartest way to dress for a highly regarded man like him is native wear.
So he gave me this faded black trouser turning white to brush for him, that he wanted to wear it for the meeting...See eh, It was so annoying. I went to his room gathered the nice, starched and ironed native I could gather and I told him to select one, that I won't brush that faded trouser. He started saying ... " I'm proving stubborn and all manner things"... I'm sure our tenants could hear our argument.

Please Nairalanders. What can I do to make my Dad dress well. I plan to set fire on those faded and worn out clothes but it will look so disrespectful. I'm sure his friends have accepted his mode of dressing.
My siblings and I are tired of complaining.

Good evening all! Please i need mature replies on this topic. My elder brother is really hurting right now.

The Story.
My elder brother got married earlier this year...before the marriage, he was fully aware that his childhood friend[Michael] had dated his wife to be with sexx involved. The wife is the truthful type and lays everything bare. Michael is well aware that his ex [my elder Bros wife] is fully married to his friend[my brother]....My brothers wife and Michael recently reconnected again on social media and has since started up chats that "MAY" lead to them flirting. She shows my brother the chats and gives him every update. My brother is not happy with this development and is yet to communicate this to his wife.

Questions.
1...Should he tell the wife to block of Michael (his wife's ex, whom is coincidentally his childhood till date friend) ?is this a wise move considering the fact that this might make his wife start hiding stuffs
... The wife is cool with maintaining contact with this particular ex[Michael]....thought he tells my brother everything /the chats.
2....Can you allow ur spouse still in contacts with his/her ex?
3....Should my brother just talk to Michael straight up to stop chatting his wife?

I know that I'm a core Biafran but honestly you won't see me shouting Biafra or death, First of all, most of us in Biafra Land would honestly say, if Nigeria is well managed who needs Biafra but on the other hand the more you look at Nigeria the more hopeless it get.

Forget about corruption or even Buhari's Nepotism, why is cooking gas too costly when we have abundant natural gas under our feet, you would only find out how hopeless Nigeria is and how hopeless things are getting.

No one in his right sense really blames people who agitate for the country's breakup but then there are those of us who really don't care whether Nigeria breaks up or stick together then why are some of us having such apathy on both side.

For me I asses the cost of Nigeria's beakup and I had seen that unless the Breakup is overseen by core terrorists, Nigeria's break up would be too costly, I count on terrorists here becuase 1. They don't really care about an effective country, they only care about their Islamic state, in this case they won't care about coastlines and they don't mind declaring Nothern Nigeria independence.

Now the tricky situation is that Northern power brokers would fight back they would not allow the North to fall to terrorists and in this case, Southern Soldiers would be deployed and the day would most likely be saved with the North backing a Southern President, preferably Igbo.

Now you look at another situation if they conduct a referendum for Biafra, once that referendum is put up then Western Nigeria is demanding for a Referendum immediately, the exit of the entire South would leave the North completely landlocked again unacceptable, and this one would bring the mother of all chaos.

I still maintained that as at 1967 the North was willing to let Biafra go but the West said if the East left, they would also go, now you see the situation, no one is ready to let the other go, so after I had looked at the situation, I had adviced myself to focus on simpler things like building standard hospitals within my own locality and more.
