The percent of people who earn $100k annually is less than 40 percent. about 60 percent American earns less than $15 an hour. Many Americans end up working for their wealthy individuals. They work all through their whole life working just to pay bills and loans. Some would claim they (Americans) get government reliefs which I would argue that it's the mediocre among them that need the government relief as those reliefs would always make them useless in their society because the American system has a lot of check and balance as the system is designed to be well dynamic and it's something like a give and take thing. Life in America is great for the very hardworking dudes or the smart individuals. Americans live most of the life on loans and can't afford not to work if they really want to live their American dream. Nothing is virtually free because they would pay back indirectly. Mehn, the way American systems work is somehow complex and it would take a great observer to really decifer the system. Americans end up working so hard than the europeans. Atleast, I would say if their (American) government makes their education somehow free-cost to bachelor degree would reduce the level of the poor in their society just how some European countries did, my observation though. Thanks and God bless some founding fathers in Nigeria, the likes of Awolowo giving the South-westerners access to free education. I just hope soon that God will get rid of our corrupt leaders, though it might not be in this current generation but I still believe what God can not change does not exist! We are in the 21st century where studying a particular course should not limit you only within the confines of your country. If your are within the top 2% of your class, even if you have lesser opportunities in Nigeria you can go global. Improve your skills in all facets of life computer programming skill, leadership skills and pop into USA market where such skills are really needed it its abundance, this you can easily do via graduate school. Register for the GRE exams, since you have few years before post NYSC , try and ACE it within these few years you have and watch funding go your way. That you see people studying your course and struggling doesn't mean your course isn't a hot cake elsewhere, be open and be positive.
N/B this mostly work for students who are within the top 2 % in their academics.

I know numerous guys who have followed this pathway n they are doing really well in the USA.
Read n crack the GRE or GMAT to improve your chances of entering a very good school and being offered scholarship.
