ThiefnubuBandit:Assuming this is actually supposed to be a point, how are Tinubu's life decisions now supposed to be Cardoso's problem?? ![]() |
This is how you people elevate all sorts of non-entities. Why should anyone care what this one has to say? The likes of Reno, FFK, Daniel Bwala, people with no visible achievements in life are the ones dominating headlines. As for Reno I can tolerate him because he at least presents factual logical arguments. |
I wonder if Sim has lawyers to advise him. I acted on approvals to do bad things? Even in the army where orders are practically laws, that is no excuse. Sim seems to have chosen the path of the stubborn fly that does not hear its mother as it dances its way into the grave. |
Peter Obi of course has a point but why does this guy always rush to google to pick useless stats? Nigeria has more homeless people than India and China combined he says. Really?? https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanwpc/article/PIIS2666-6065(22)00159-6/fulltext China's homeless population is more than the population of the entire Nigeria. |
OriOko88:Where did you read this your own version of the story?? It was the soldiers who ought the phone not that someone called them to intervene. |
Tallesty1:So in your small, narrow mind, the reason this attack happened is because Nigeria has packed all its soldiers to do checkpoint in the South East?? Not broader issues of military collusion and deliberate patterns of inaction in certain regions? You are a shameless person. |
NeckingNgulping:Okay, we're getting somewhere. So, the people who brought Christianity to Africa, in the eyes of the natives, weren't they "people who have immensely impacted the world positively with technological breakthroughs and discoveries that even the blind can feel?" |
Tallesty1:I have been to the East and stayed there for close to a year. What nonsense... Now it has turned to comparing how soldiers treat youths in the north vs south east. on a thread about how 40 plus people were killed, you've turned it into complaining about checkpoints in the South East! Do you see how insane your need to always make the conversation about yourselves is?? |
Tallesty1:When last were soldiers deployed in any non-routine rotation to the South East? When was the last time there was a major military incident involving the South East? This is now bordering on narcissism. An incident occurs in the South South (Okuama), yet you will see people turning it into something about the South East. Now something has happened in Plateau, you've not even expressed any sympathy for the victims, you've jumped straight to a totally unreasonable comment bringing in the South East. Are you not becoming mass attention seekers like this?? |
NeckingNgulping:There is no way you can feel atoms and molecules. You only know about them because someone taught you about them. Claiming you can feel them because your body is made up of them is a little ridiculous. You had absolutely no idea your body was made of atoms and molecules until you were told so. And if tomorrow they come back and tell you that oh we've made a mistake all along, and actually your body is made up of waves, not particles, you will equally believe them. That is because you are convinced by their explanation and not because you can feel molecular particles or waves. Now the question is, that teacher who first introduced you to atoms and molecules if their own family disbelieved them, would that have been a proper basis for you to equally refuse to believe? |
Dyfynezz12:Its not too late...why not reach out? Simps are not the worst of men. The worst of men are those who spend life as spectators. Always commenting on what others do but never themselves doing anything worthy of comment. |
NeckingNgulping:You can feel and touch gravity? How about atoms and molecues...since you cant see them let alone touch them, you must surely not believe in atoms and molecules? |
NeckingNgulping:You needed someone to teach you 1+1 = 2 before you could understand and accept it as a fact. Isn't that so? Okay replace 1 + 1 = 2 with the law of gravity. Someone needed to teach you right? Would you have rejected their teaching because their family disbelieved them? |
Clearly, Anambra is doing something right. Well done to the brilliant young ones. |
NeckingNgulping:So I say to you 1 + 1 = 2 but all my own family refuse to accept the answer. Will you equally reject it for that reason alone? |
NeckingNgulping:Why do they have to believe? |
thesicilian:Well not that I'm necessarily invested in this situation but I must point out to you that your submission here does not provide a valid criticism. You said Nigerians (Nigerian Christians) are massively supporting Israel because they believe it is the Christian thing to do. But doing the Christian thing is independent of whether or not Israelis believe in Jesus Christ so it doesn't matter that the Israelis don't believe. The Nigerian Christians who hold such beliefs believe they are pleasing God not pleasing Israel. |
Observer23:It is indeed important to hear from both sides, however, the wife obviously is not here. Additionally, unless the man was cheating or beat his wife, the below is completely inexcusable if true. There is nothing whatsoever that can justify this. My wife prefers to sleep alone, despite me telling her we shd sleep together as a couple. if she is in the room and I come to the room she will immediately goes to the parlor, we rarely have body contact. The few times we have sex she never kisses even when i try, she puts her mouth away. Even in the car we can be on a drive for 1 hr, without mentioning a word to each other.People are really patient. |
Angelfrost:Hmmm. You are bigger than this kind of comment. This is the transcript of what he said when he spoke to the BBC Hausa. Its in the write up. Obviously he was asked a question. |
Teeklef:He was born there doesn't mean he is from there. Do they bear Okoh in Akure? |
PortHarcourtcit:He is not Ikwerre. He is Ika from Edo. |
immortalcrown:If the definition says "anything that is done to improve the beauty," do you need a special addendum to tell you that things not done to improve the beauty are excluded? ![]() |
immortalcrown:Well I think it is when you read every part: Renovation” means any act done to cause an improvement to a building’s beautyThis automatically excludes functional maintenance. |
immortalcrown:Plumbing works that require major and significant changes to the structure of the building are different from routine plumbing maintenance. |
illicit:There are all tribes there but there are more south easterners than any other single tribe. Or if you prefer, there are more south easterners there than northerners. That's my observation. |
Namaster:Banex is dominated by south easterners. |
Smartcitizen:Is Adekunbi Ogunde, Wole Olanipekun? Ogunde, a former partner in the law firm of Wole Olanipekun, immediate former chairman of the Body of Benchers, had, in June 2022, admitted to sending an email to SAIPEM Contracting Nigeria Ltd, soliciting a brief. |
Smartcitizen:Can you highlight any source showing the Bar making an accusation against Wole Olanipekun? I'm very curious. Even sanctioned you say! Wow...let's see these sources! |
Racoon:Nigerians barely pay tax. All this complaining you people are doing is just hypocrisy. Meanwhile I can show you where Peter Obi too said exactly the same thing. Everyone knows we need to collect more taxes but unfortunately people choose to play politics with it. https://twitter.com/PeterObi/status/1622521800339881986?t=nOCReXiLnkfQbRcTMrMDLA&s=19 |
I don't see why we should pay attention to the thoughts of two random British journalists. But then Nigerians have totally lost it. Two British journalists alleged that: 1. FGM is rife in Nigeria 2. That women's rights don't exist 3. That the country does not prosecute yahoo boys for ripping of westerners And I can see Nigerians up above me co-signing for the purpose of scoring points. Don't you see they said nothing about the government but everything there is a direct accusation against the citizens?? Is it true that FGM is rife in Nigeria? Is it true that women's rights don't exist in Nigeria? Is it true that yahoo boys are allowed to scam westerners and go scot-free?? They even said they are never prosecuted. Funnily enough King Charles was here in 2018 and Queen Elizabeth actually commissioned Millennium Park in the mid-2000s. So while these ones are using this visit as an excuse to bash Harry and Meghan, fellow Nigerians why do you join the world to make scorn of yourselves? |
kenben:Is that the truth the speaker of Niger Assembly is meant to tell according to you? |
JAWBONE:Good, so you see we are back to your first goal post. And according to you, if I come to you now and say JAWBONE would you like to have this keke napep, and you say yes because that is all I offered, then you had no choice. Does that mean you didn't consent? Consent is not about being offered a multitude of choices. It is about not being under compulsion to choose even the solitary option before you. No was always an answer even if that meant having to fend for themselves. By the way the money for these marriages is not even coming from the State. According to the speaker, it was from a donation from an individual. Secondly, these 100 girls are not the full set of girls who were considered. A list of 270 names was submitted and the speaker said these were ones chosen. So you don't even have the full picture but you are insisting because you have already concluded and now you want to make the evidence fit your conclusion. Just like I said of the minister, why can't you dig for facts from the other side? https://punchng.com/niger-speaker-backtracks-on-orphans-mass-weddings-after-fg-pressure/#:~:text=He%20explained%20that%20the%20girls,had%20the%20capacity%20to%20assist. |
