Family / Re: Ladies Would You Encourage Your Husband To Take A Second Wife If: by Smilenw(f): 3:45pm On Sep 15, 2011 |
So agree with Nayah ! There is this dumb kid in another section who was arguing about couple swinging and stuff. Wish he came here to read this thread and understand how a 'normal' woman thinks. Back to topic, the woman in question has to do all that is possible to avert the situation of sharing her husband and her home with another woman. Be it medical help, spiritual help, whatever. |
Nairaland / General / Re: Rumors In Nigeria: Best Nigerian Rumours So Far? by Smilenw(f): 1:17pm On Sep 15, 2011 |
lucenzo: Are you sure @ the bolded? What do you think some of the Nigerian football players who are there in India are upto? Playing tennis ? Guess they have never played in a FIFA tournament coz I've read somewhere they got selected once long back but didn't have shoes to play and hence couldn't play Back to topic, Yaradua's death. Got so used to hearing it every other day that when he actually died, was happy for the man |
Romance / Re: inlove by Smilenw(f): 6:18pm On Sep 14, 2011 |
OP Do you really want someone to tell you he is not that into you? Please leave the man alone and move on. You could find someone who would want to give you attention without begging for it. |

If it was an accident first, do it deliberately this time and make sure her car is far from looking posh and beyond repair--then scoot- - both from the spot and from the yeye man's life |

Family / Re: Can U Forgive your Father? by Smilenw(f): 7:22pm On Sep 04, 2011 |
I do not know if one can hold grudges against one's parents. We owe our life to them. If the flat belongs to his dad, then he ought to obey what the man has to say. Wouldn't he have to leave the flat even if he had a different landlord, now that he has no job to pay his rent ? The father however was mean in throwing them out of the flat. He may not gain anything in particular by keeping a grudge against his father. The son has to wake up to the fact that what isn't yours can never be yours. Lesson learnt, in a painful way though. |

Family / Re: Do Married Women Need Privacy From Their Husband? by Smilenw(f): 12:35pm On Sep 04, 2011 |
@ Topic I may not agree to the privacy talk if it is about the wife having activities of her own, a lifestyle of her own which includes friends of whom the husband knows nothing about. That doesn't mean the wife needs to give a detailed account of her daily activities to her husband. Itz just that the couple has to be aware of what is happening in each others life, lest you prefer to hear things from a third person. However the answer to the question will be a big resounding yes if the privacy thing is about the wife having some quiet time of her own in a day.C'mon everyone desrves it, right? 1 Like |

Family / Re: A Family Member Informing Your Spouse Before Visiting by Smilenw(f): 10:43pm On Sep 02, 2011 |
I really dont understand some people Isn't your hubby's house your house too? An elder should be given due respect whether he is your wife's father or your own father. Since you just got married, your father may not have been thinking too much before the call. Having said that you shouldn't have informed your dad what your husband said. Instead you could have put across the message subtly by just calling him up when hubby is around and could have casually asked your father to discuss his travel plans with your hubby too as he was anxiously looking forward to his in-laws visit. |

Romance / Re: would you do likewise? by Smilenw(f): 5:21pm On Sep 02, 2011 |
I'll make sure my suspicions are true and then confront the guy with the evidence. I don't think I have anything to do with the woman. If the guy is into cheating, he can find 100s of women to cheat on. One woman backing off doesn't make a difference. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Romance / Re: Who Should I Go For? by Smilenw(f): 8:01pm On Sep 01, 2011 |
You say you like both the girls. Which one do you LOVE? They can't possibly be the same. Try spending more time with each of them (on a friendly basis) and see which one gets along more with you. |
Family / Re: Can You Continue With The Marriage? by Smilenw(f): 7:45pm On Sep 01, 2011 |
Your story is just one side of the coin. Ever tried to talk to her and find out what went wrong? Nobody becomes bitter without a reason. You need to check your attitude . For example, you sounded kind of bossy when you said "she does not respect me and has refused to take care of the business i opened for her since she lost her job".Sounds more like "I opened a business, and I'm keeping a tab on how successful it is". Respect cannot be demanded, it has to be gained. Having said that, I would never become friendly with some guy I had dated b4 marriage behind my husband's back, talk less of sending him my pics. Maybe it is just me ! |
