^Nope But give it a try, say with smaller quantity and see if you like it. Most of us have these ingredients at home most of the time. If you like it, cool! If you don't, you haven't lost much. You can try and make something tried and tested with the rest of the ingredients Happy cooking ! |
^ Oh ! I didn't know IVFs could be so expensive |
I second tpia's suggestion-IVF @Lsbn boy- Let me try to explain, IVF (in vitro fertilization) is a procedure where the Fluid and the egg are fertilized outside their biological environment, i.e in a lab. The advantage is lesser cost and higher chances of success compared to the reversal surgery. Also the couple can have their own child, no third party involved, just as how it would be had they planned to hve a child naturally. There are drawbacks too, but if they are desperate and the man cannot consider adoption then this is their best bet. |
Few years back, one fateful day when hunger pangs struck hard I whipped up an instant meal with spaghtetti and canned tuna. It takes less than 10 minutes, satiates my taste buds and has become my fav comfort food over the years. Spaghetti with Tuna Ingredients Spaghetti Tuna- 1 Can Tomato Paste- 1 medium can Maggi cubes-2 Chopped onion -1 medium Oil- As required Cook the spaghetti. Reserve some water. In a skillet heat the oil and add the onions. Sauté the onions and add the tomato paste. Add some water retained earlier, to obatin the desired consistency. Let it boil for a minute. Now add the tuna and the maggi cubes. Allow the sauce to boil for a minute or two. Mix the spaghetti and toss well. Serve hot. |
Hey tpia & Missy B I'm ok with both as long as 'tiny tummy' empties his plate ![]() Thanks Missy B for your recipe !This thread makes me so hungry and hence I look at it only after a meal ![]() |
Please do not listen to your husband on this issue. A baby has to be exclusively breastfed atleast till he is 6 months. You say your kid is on formula so try to give him as much of your milk as possible when you are around. You can gradually stop the night feeding when he starts on solids and starts to have filling dinner. |
Stop calling (begging)him and exhibiting your love for him all the time.Maybe he likes to have some space. Show him that you have a life of your own. Maybe you are giving away too much of yourself. When he notices that you are not so much into him he might come around if he really loves you. If he doesn't and is pleased to be left alone, then consider the guy has had his fill. Either way, I think you should try to balance your life rather than making your BF the centre of your existence. Only a woman who respects herself will be respected. |
3-4 hours itz fun though ! |
I don't know why my recipe has not appeared here. Everytime I try to post, it says you have already posted, try later ! ![]() Dunno if this is going to get posted, but I'll try my luck- @ Missy B, do you have any recipes for cheesy pasta? Was looking out for recipes for pleasing a tiny tummy ![]() |
Jealousy, perhaps? |
lefulefu:ROFL. Btw, do you suspect all these single women are deliberately moving into your neighbourhood ? ![]() |
I hate to say this but lefulefu is turning out to be my fav poster on this forum. He never fails to put me in stitches with his funny/silly and sometimes disgusting discoveries Each time I see his name, without even opening it, I start laughing. The best thing is he starts a thread, leaves it never to return Itz more like thinking aloud, he hardly cares whether someone agrees with him or not ![]() |
He was arguing on the phone with some cousin about a family event. my concern was not that he was on the phone to someone my concern was that he was driving like a crazy person. Anyhoo is american slang for anyway, picked it up from my wife and kids. I'm not pompous or arrogant, most people have drivers, gatemen, cooks, housegirl and they werent exactly the focal point so not sure why certain people are obsessed by them. Its not a big deal. Anyway whatevs (would you like a definition here too??) Don't want to hook anyone online oh just using as an avenue to rant and discuss with wise people, of which you are not one. So you can either piss off or try in vein to locate me and then fail and piss off.
OMG |
Anyhoo like i said known the guy a few years from uni in ghana and have a number of mutual friends. He picked me up from our family office and i told my parents who exactly i was going with. I'm not a muppet or a randy 12 year old sneaking out with men. OP& Violent- Tell me exactly what this silly word means. My cheap school obviously didn't see the need to teach such a word. OP, You have given out a lot of personal details voluntarily on this single thread ! All those who read your "pointless post" now knows that a certain uju has a gateman, a cook, a family office, a car, a driver, was educated abroad (wish I could go there too, just to know what anyhoo means), a dog that coughs dollars, a cat that shits gold coins, a this, a that- sighs! You are obviously trying to paint a glossy picture here to hook someone online. I do not see any other reason why someone would yap so much in one go ! Have you for once thought why the man was on phone, ignoring you, on your first date with him? Obviously you failed to impress him ! I'm sure it had something to do with 'my this, my that" attitude of yours. ![]() @ BABE- I owe you, big time ! ![]() |
No, you haven't done anything wrong by not going out in the rain to wash plates. I think your friend could have been pissed off by something. Just wait for things to cool down and talk to her to find out what exactly is the problem. Having said that, I think it is appropriate to wash your plates immediately after eating your food. Itz a personal thing o! I do not like the sight of dishes accumulating in the sink and make sure I clean my dishes as soon as possible. wlso, When you are at somebody else's place, I think it is approrpiate to abide by their rules. |

Perfectly acceptable !
She doesn't have any problem spending your cash at will tho.
Ah, I was starting to like the woman and suddenly loses all my respect for her ! When will they learn? Do not take money from a man who is not your father/husband. There is no free money and any man who spends on you expects something in return. When you don't provide it, you are tagged. |
Sorry Ms. Potato ! Somebody suggested about appearing to be strong and telling your ex that you have date- thats a gud thing to do ! I think you are doing the right things now---time will heal ! |
Why did you to go to the extent of impregnating her when you don't love her? Let me guess- free ? But when things got out of hand back in Feb, you should have known that you crossed the limits. Why do you still continue to give her false hopes, to the extent of meeting her folks? Quit playing games ! You shall reap what you sow ! |
Hi Guys So a couple of days ago I went on a date with a gentleman, I will call him mr D. Mr D is very handsome, tall, dark, everything I like. He picked me up from the office at 6.30pm. We agreed on 5.30pm but he was an hour late due to work commitments. I understand he works for an oil company but keeping a lady waiting is not cool. So we went to dinner. I absolutely love chinese and there are a number of really good chinese restaurants in the town but he took me to the one i absolutely hate and its also the furthest away, I am suspecting this is due to the fact it is the cheapest, but as a working guy I didn't think this was a good move I would rather have had chicken republic or mister biggs than that rubbish. And also normally the first date the lady picks or is that just my experience? On the bright side the conversation was good at the restaurant but then on the way to drop me at home he talked on his mobile half the way. I am not a nagger so i just kept quiet praying in my head. I was scared for my life and was tempted to get him to drop me at the office and call my driver to get me. The cheekiest part, we got to my house i gave him a hug goodbye. We were in my compound and d gateman and others were not far away. This boy held my face and tried to kiss me by force. I blocked him with my hand and resisted the urge to slap him. I feel he disrespected me and my house by doing this and it would be embarassing if uncle abdul the gateman saw me kissing a random man in the car all the househelps will say 'small madam don spoil oh she no dey do church again'. Oh well. I have a lunch 'date' after church tomorrow with an igbo boy, should be interesting. I dont think I'm over reacting, tell me what you think people
Woman, do a spell check next time you type out long pointless posts ![]() |
Aren't you the one who went out with an ugly gal pal coz she made you look prettier? See the consequences of being pretty (loose) with 4 boyfriends at a time? Well, learn to own up your actions. You thought you were old enough to get involved in activities that resulted in a pregnancy@ 19, which means you are old enough to be a mom. Happy parenting! ![]() |
OP Let me stick to your question : I'm not a single mom. But I know quite a few who are. And according to them, it is definitely not easy, even with all the money in the world. A child may not think of who gets the money to buy him clothes or food. But he may notice much simpler things, which often we adults consider silly. You have mentioned your hubby has not been working, and hence I assume he gets to spend more time with the kid. You said the man is a doting dad, so the child is definitely going to miss his dad. We need to understand that there are certain areas of parenting that are meant for fathers, things only a dad can do. Since your child has been used to having a dad and mom together, under one roof, it may not be easy on him. You need to try twice as much to make him emotionally strong to go through this phase. Also need to be cautious not to mention anything ill about his dad. Just explain that it is better that dad and mom stay apart for sometime, if he is old enough to understand. |
No.4- None of the above |
OP , going by your previous posts, I truly believe you need some serious help. Why did I waste my time on your previous posts - SMH ![]() |
@ 190 I actually tried to say you CAN get married before you clock 30. Infact I just love all these young dads proudly holding their bundle of joy! Gud luck ! |
@ Topic-Yes, why not? |
