Sltp:I love the sound of that, when you are defeated by reason, you look for sympathy. You cry of hypocrisy and double standard, if I remember perfectly, America has nukes and they have never used it against any of their perceived enemies, they may be bad, but they are the glue keeping the world at peace, that is a huge responsibility, like it or not, they are the closest thing to an ally we have. |
VEHINTOLAR:I understand you point, but let me ask you this, as a Nigerian, how many tribes do you know in Ghana? I work with many Ghanaians, Togolese, benis, I have no idea their tribes in their respective countries, simply because I don't care, I don't give a flying shit, they are just Ghanaians or Togolese to me. Same thing applies here, nobody wants to know what tribe they come from, they are Nigerians, I know it's frustrating, trying to be good while some people just care about making money alone, they don't care if people die, or if the country have a bad image. |
IfnobeGod20:If you know what investigation means, you will understand that, every aspect of his life can be investigated at the time, and he can be prosecuted. In the United States, an arrest warrant is enough for all the law enforcement agencies to look into everything about a person, not to talk of, he was in court for at least a couple of months. Remember, the very reason Obasanjo set up Efcc was because of him and others like him, he has no immunity, the government at the centre was against him, so how could he have influenced them. |
Sltp:Does what with America, there's a difference between supporting a democratic elected country get back their territory from terrorist and actively invading a country because they want to join Nato. Your comparison just proves that, you have no idea what is going on, trying to remove a democratic president by using the terrorists is the direct opposite. Not like he installed himself, try to rule forever, keeping everyone in subjugation or anything like that, just because they were discussing how to protect themselves. |
Sltp:You want them to play sport with the country that invaded them, kill their children and still killing and bombing them ![]() Look at Nigeria, just because of the last election, the hatred between the Yorubas and Igbos have degenerated into serious conflict that even if you look like a yoruba or igbo you will be drawn into the fued, there was no war, just an election. Now compare a country man who has been busy living a peaceful life, now his wife is a refugees, his children are living in a tent, no school or education, malnutrition, diseases, possibly death but you want him to joyfully kick ball around to show the world he is not troublesome, if you are the one, won't you set any Russian you see on fire, it's war not a disagreement. |
WriterNig:Your stupidity is very sickening, so asking Ukraine to join Nato or trying to join Nato is a justification for invading their country and killing thousands of people. How a black man support act of violence after decades of oppression and continous racism is shocking to say the least. There's no justification for killing another person, I don't care how you spin it, it was wrong at the time, it's wrong now. |
okuta007:Very funny, Tinubu was governor of Lagos in 1999 to 2007, Over Ten (10) years later in 2017 his son bought a property, and you assume the money he stole over 10 years ago is what his son used in buying the property. Let assume you are right and he stole some money in between 1999 and 2007, he was on trial in 2011, at which time the government at the center wasn't APC or his party, the case was in court and he wasn't convicted. Sometimes I assume everyone has reasoning faculty, you will advice he be arrested for his son purchasing a property, because the son a 37 year old man is too young to be arrested or what? If there is a crime why not just arrest the son, why all the fuse, he is not yet the president, let the son be arrested, and don't give me that crap that no body can arrest him, the reason is simply because, there is no prove that he obtained the money illegally. |
phineas:It doesn't matter the kind, all yahoo is bad, some people kill themselves in silence because of depression. |
Omoawoke:This is worse, nobody in the US or outside Nigeria care which state they are from, they are Nigerians, simple! |
Where is saasala, look at what they did, it doesn't matter if they open store for their grandparents, they just wasted someone life because in their defence, their president is a yahoo person. |
okuta007: So why are we having this discussion in the first place, if you know nothing can be done about it, you enjoy pointlessly discussions? Let me educate you, you don't need the use of fowl language to convey your message. You say you will assume Obi used Anambra state money even though he bought those properties when he was not yet a governor. I ask, if you have prove, present it to the police, nobody is above the law, his father is not the president yet, his father can't control the police, in the face of overwhelming evidence, this is the best time to expose and depose him or his father. |
Topmaike007:And the police are doing nothing to arrest them if they are found wanting? Nigerians have the unfortunate discipline of only discussing trending issues, I guess once he is sworn in all of this will stop. Very pathetic. |
Topmaike007:This argument is lame, people are suffering everywhere, Trump has millions of dollars of property, he still requesting for the people to fund his trial, even the poor who believed in him made willful contribution. Do you know that all our politicians INCLUDING PETER OBI sent their children overseas for study, most of those schools pay up to 3 million dollars a year, why is that a problem. The issue is simply, you say you have prove he stole the money, present the prove to the police, let him be prosecuted, he has no immunity, why are we having a discussion about this. Let me guess, you want his father to step down because you say you have prove, and let the inauguration be stop right? Wrong, there's no legal bases for it, be pragmatic, if you want to stop the inauguration, you need something tangible, not this excuse of a bombshell. |
okuta007:All this investigative journalism, can you help us with the list of people in Nigeria with property outside the country. You said Obi bought his property before he became the governor and for that reason, he is pure right, did you ask how he made his money, no, it's not important, he bought it before he was governor and if there's any reason or fact that he got his money illegally, he would have been questioned, , Seyi is not a governor, was never a governor, why can't the evidence be given to the police and investigation done, why the fuse. He doesn't have immunity, he can be arrested if found guilty, so why exactly are we having a socratic debate on someone with no political implication. |
saasala:I don't do yahoo anywhere, I am a computer scientist and I refuse to design website for anyone who wants to scam with it. I work and I am paid for my work, I won't steal my company property, as a matter of facts, my boss asked me to move everything in office store to my house store, everything is exactly how they are, I bring whatever is needed anytime it's needed. Can we stop this stupid generalisation, not everyone is a yahoo person (whatever that means), people are still good, the problem is, the new generation is so far gone we don't even know how to begin to savage them. You can blame the government all you want, but scamming your fellow man can never be acceptable, no justification for it. You think the country image is gone, you are wrong, the problem is, you need to prove yourself now, people can't just take your (our) word for it. |
okuta007:What I don't understand is what has this got to do with anything. 1. Seyi Tinubu is not a political office holder, if the efcc is interested in him, he doesn't have immunity, and can be arrested. 2. When the property was bought, his father wasn't the president or governor, it's not a crime to buy property in UK, many of our politicians have property their. Peter Obi had a company UK, Atiku has houses in UK, us, dubai, why is this an issue 3. Finally, if there is prove Tinubu has money he shouldn't have it should be investigated, if there's any stolen funds linked to him, he should be reprimanded, there's no point have a political discussion about purchase of property, if you think the UK or US will just send their military to stop his inauguration, you are just dreaming, none of this will stop it. |
saasala:Who is this clone? You have no idea what it is doing to this country, just like everything, always thinking of the present pleasure forgetting the damage. Do you know that, no legitimate company wants to do business with you once they know you are a Nigerian, even on Facebook, they are so afraid that everything you do in the eye of a foreigner is a scam. A time is coming, if we don't look for lasting solution, and stop this "Yahoo is everywhere" speech social media will require us to go through vetting before we open account. Do you know, most yahoo guys are actually scamming Nigerians, not those in Abuja, but those hustling with them on the street. Last month my phone was snatched from me while driving on 3rd mainland bridge, even though I switch off my account, they wiped everything within 12 hours overnight, I am still reeling from the lost, lots of people going through same thing, we can't trust each other anymore, if he is not into yahoo, he might be a ritual yahoo guy or something worse. The next generation will suffer it, because a time will come when everyone abroad have built system that we can't get into, those who have been into that life becomes the problem to the average men and women on the street, it already happening. |
SpartaOfLagos:I thought this is worthless, I remember someone said it is worthless because Tinubu made the list in 2023, but you are quoting the list like it was made by Angels. All this tribal rubbish, election is over, face your shop that gives you daily bread. |
Ikillbrokehoes:So? I don't have inferiority complex, I am handsome, he has level, who cares. |
Dshocker:You shouldn't laugh, the thing pain me pass Dj self, I have had a crush on that girl for ages, and one ugly guy just dey pop everything ![]() Very annoying ![]() |
Voltage7:Because, this is in-fighting, between Sudan, no external factor. It is very different from what is going on in Ukraine. |
YoshihideSuga:You think issues with land is only associated with Lagos, go to Edo state, the odionwuare will sell one land to 5 different buyers, if you ask him, he will tell you, the others didn't develop the land in time, whoever develop the land first is the owner. The issue with Lagos is, people like taking risks, you know a particular land shouldn't be used for housing but you went ahead hoping if you guys are many the government will have to rethink their stand, eventually, the whole thing becomes every man for himself. Buy land that is verified, zero issue, don't build on pipeline, under high tension, raillines. |
Jokerman:You say it like, they weren't allowed to go home. Business is what brought igbos to Lagos, as far as there's market, they are not going anywhere. |
Jokerman:To do what? He thinks if the sellers return to their states the buyers will return with them, lol! You will be replaced before you get to berger. |
WesternPanzer:And you think it's just to show they have money, building is investment, if you build and you can't make anything in 10 years, how do you continue to invest there. Lagos have the market for houses, before the house is completed buyers are already lining up, same with electronics and gadgets. Please shut up. |
WriterNig:This is a joke right? That is one of the best, the list includes Night Agent, Designated survivor. I really enjoyed it, her husband is the best, God everyone in it is great, top notch. |
greenermodels:This is not conjectures, we bought boilers for 30k per Catton last year November, vaccination 4k? Maybe it has been a while you attempted it. You need at least 16 bags of starter @ 8,500=136,000 You need 40 bags of finisher @7,500 = 300,000 Feed alone plus transport 450,000 when I say 350k I was being generous and using estimate, when calculating cost you use worse case scenario, you don't you best case scenario. You don't need workers for 200 chickens very funny, almost everything will die before you wake up.When I said drugs, this includes the service provider, or are you not going to pay the vet when he comes. I didn't include drinkers, feeder, electricity, coal, trust me, 770k for 200 chicken is generous. |
greenermodels:The first problem with farmers is they mistake of calling GAIN as gross sales, how much do you think you will invest in a farm to get 20 million, how many people will it take to do it, WHAT IS THE GAIN, AFTER PAYING EVERYONE? I use people for chicken farm for december (200 chickens @ 600 naira= 120k), feed for 2 months = 350k, workers for two months 100k, vacination = 100k, housing= 100k (Total = 770k). After 2 months only 170 chickens left, sold at 6,000 = 1,000,000 approximately after factoring transportation (Total profit before paying myself is 230,000) Now if I am to pay myself, I will say 50,000 per month, Total profit is 130k. And, depending on the kind of work, some people get 200k in a week for surpervision, installation, monitoring, even logistics, the issue is having such on a steady. Farming can be lucrative, but it takes TIME, EFFORT, PATIENCE, CONTENTMENT, AND LOTS OF MONEY! You forget everything in farming have season, if your corn falls in the season of corn, 1 truck load may not go for more than 200k, in some areas before it get to the desired market, it has expired (Like corn, fresh on the first two days, after which, you have to beat down the price) I visited home last December I saw ORANGE, like 10 truck load decaying by the road, I parked and my younger sister was like how can this even happy, that kind of waste sometimes is unavoidable, along the road, you can see more loads and loads of orange, thinking about the amount the owner used to covey such to the road before the eventual decay, you will then wonder. For farming to gain the kind of traction that is required, you will need lots of money, like the owner of that orange farm, if he has a processing machine, process and store as joice, he can sell at any time and get profit. |
greenermodels:Really, You can sleep on your warm bed for a year and the total gain in your tomatoes farm is not more that 200k or work for just one week and get 200k. Farming is all about contentment, but not everyone is cut for it. |

Swallow (Semo, wheat) with vegetable. I can remember the last time I don't have vegetable in my freezer. What can I say I am African, swallow is our way of life. |
DMerciful:Its funny because I remember many of you were happy when CBN refused to obey the supreme court then, some even said the supreme court can't tell CBN what to do, because your brother is the governor of CBN but you want the supreme court to OBEY THE LAW NOW! When Mr President disobeyed the court and ordered the use of the naira to be suspended even when there was a stay of execution, you were happy, because it favours your candidant, you call BUHARI THE HERO OF DEMOCRACY, now that he is disobeying the court to release Kanu, you want to preach RULE OF LAW. As much as I always push for the right thing, releasing KANU is not the best for the country, remember he was released once and immediately after his release on bail, the whole IPOD thing became something with no control, even when he RAN to Uk, he continued with destructive statement, statement that now ring a loud bell in the ear of everyone, and creating a much wider ethnic divide. |
Emir8:You guys are so dumb, commenting on your comments gives me headache. First, for the inauguration to be stopped, there must be a judgement for a stay of proceedings, that means, he needs to get a stay of proceeding first, the fact that he has a case in court does not in any way stop the inauguraton. How can you get a stay of proceedings? I know Nigeria court is for show but in this case, you need to prove that the inauguration will affect the proceeding, and why? If at all the case has been in the supreme court for 4 years, what actually happened, why the delay. The "nugatory" reason though sound, but does not expressly state why the judgement has been delayed and does not in any way affect the outcome of an election, except you want to roll back all laws passed, everything done in the past 4 years, I don't see how you can stop the inauguration. And finally, except he is drunk, I don't think any court (supreme court or any court) have adjudged him winner, so his case will be thrown out. I understand the tactis of those behind it, they are looking for a legal basis to stop the inauguration, but none of these will do the trick, they need something sound with the full backing of the law, not this court processes. Waste of time and money if you ask me! |
