doxijaw: Crap , counter intuitive .
Your argument get many k legs, in particular the lifeless fetus you referenced.
Why are you people so easy to brainwash, you drank too much liberal gibberish coolade that has no reckoning with science and common sense.
Sometimes I wonder are these really Africans typing this nonesense or some foreigners have invaded nairaland. When it comes to technology, who do you prefer?, when it comes to science who's idea do you prefer?, FOREIGNERS!!! But ones it comes to religion (even though they are the ones that introduced you to it) you suddenly become very intelligent, still backward though. My argument is simple, if you read the law like I said, I won't have to explain all this, read!, the classification they made, makes a lot of sense. Today, I have seen on Nairaland front page, a new-born baby dumped in the bush, that is to say everyday in Nigeria, we have mothers that are not ready to be mothers abandoning there new born baby and walking away (Do you know what that means for a woman? A woman capable of walking away from a living, breathing-crying child is no more a woman, if the laws have allowed her move on with her live a long time ago, it would have save lots of stress and the emotional trauma that will follow her for the rest of her life. Not to talk of the population of children in Nigeria born and throw out to feed for themselves from a very tender age of 5, they grow up to become all the creeping and fearful things that the society have to equip people to hunt them down and eventually they end up locked away like animals, now tell me, how is God happy with this, does it gladdens his heart that they were not aborted but abandoned by the road side at birth. Use your head, its one of its function.) You can act stupid all you want, the fact is Joe Bide is the president of the free world, and in such position, religious implication have no bearing to him. That is why most of you visit the court and call lawyers wicked, the law is not moral, its just fair, its not right, its doesn't account for religion implication, just what facts and what the law state, and the laws in the land allows (state wide), so even a president have no way of changing that. Now go read your books and let the grown up talk. |

Rugaria: He's totally correct! As an ex seminarian, I'm aware that there are strong theological teachings against abortion, same sex relations and these liberal attempts at 'liberalizing and normalizing promiscuity"... It's what priests spends ages to learn, to oppose , to stamp out and to eradicate. These are evils that one Joe Biden carries on his funny skull like gala. The way he's going, it's starting to look like his presidency revolves almost totally on these issues... For all his good natured politics and policies towards minorities and on immigration and foreign relations with developing countries, his liberal views on issues like abortion and same sex are simply terrifying..
Every real practicing catholic is supposed to be overwhelmingly scandalized. Since Biden is a catholic and touts this Irish heritage of his quite proudly, he should atleast respect these values as a very prominent public officer. Where he glaringly fails or become quite irritatingly audacious in propagating weird beliefs, the much a humble priest can do is to ensure that he's dutifully starved of the holy communion, untill he starts yelling like an ewe... You can't be a member of a group, while at the same time working hard to torpedo all the group stands for.. That's some exotic politics right there.. This is not personal... The priest is doing his job as a catholic priest. He is not he pastor or the president of the catholic people, he is the president of the free world, a world that accommodate everyone, irrespective of their believe. If he support the law that the LGBT community should have the freedom as human to work, and move freely, doesn't mean he is gay! He is married and God will judge him according to his doings, same with abortion, the laws were passed state by state, and as president he has to respect that law, for without it, even him won't he able to be president, these laws were passed long before he was the president, and it will remain even after he is gone. (Besides, read what the law says, don't just follow what the media says, we could use such law in Nigeria. Before you bit my head off, remember, even the Bible is against the use of CONDOM! YEAH, read your bible very well! using condom is a form of abortion, if a lifeless fetus is considered a human being, a load of sperm containing millions of prospective babies should be). All this our religiosity, same reason a pastor will be doing the opposite of what God want but we will say he is a man of God and can't be corrected. |

So because a particular Hausa man somewhere had a fight with a Yoruba man... And end up beating the hell out of the Yoruba man which result to his death.
You now Carry arms... Going round and killing any Hausa man you come across... Burning their means of livehood.
You are even justifying this Barbaric act??
You are justifying the killing of innocent Hausas who don't even know that there's a Yoruba man fighting a Hausa man!!
This is the end of it.... Even the so called educated folks in the west feels its OK to attack northerners because a Yoruba man died while fighting a Hausa man.
OK ooo Your problem is you don’t want to understand, he asked a question, where were you when your people were killing and raping innocent, it’s only when an Hausa or Fulani is in trouble that you feel you can make a point. RayRay06677: Thats why boys are not getting married but men are getting married. The girl should be happy she didn't marry over grown boy or immature dick carrying specimen.
There is always what is call MFANGHA, which means argue, on that date, you come around to contest the list maturedly and mid point is agreed. Nothing on that list is mandatory. If you can't manage common test then you wouldn't be able to navigate the world with your supposed incoming family when faced with situations you would be required to negotiate. On the list you put everything because it's traditional to argue the list so if I put an item, your inlaw has the right to still argue it to half. A list is also padded as it's a reflection of the family/girl in question. Like I said, at the MFANGHA that list will be so shrinked that it will get to less than half. Though I personally refuse to argue my list, I went there that day and ate all the entertainment stuffs and told them my wife is worth more than that and fixed a date and provided everything. He was also at liberty to impregnate the girl, his grand children can still come pay off later in life.
He ran because he didn't love the girl but loved her pussy. QED
Marriage happens in AKS almost every day, we don't wait for weekends again as weekends are never free so his "ran" is inconsequential to the community but to his former love. We move. Your stupid point makes no sense, if that is not the real list, or if its is negotiable then, put the real thing and stop complicating the guys life, he should bring his family and argue a list until he can pay. How does it sound to you, the lady is a person, not a product you price and negotiate to obtain, bunch of idiots. |

Personally, from my research so far, I can authoritatively tell you that 90% of reported criminal cases attributed to Fulani herders are not only false, but malicious and an attempt to frustrate the government of President Muhammadu Buhari for political reasons.
From "Amotekun arrests truckload of armed Fulani herdsmen" to "Fulani herdsmen invaded Wole Soyinka's Home; Soyinka managed to escape".. And then within a minute, the victim or the police will come out to dismiss the report as fake news... Now if this isn't a campaign of calumny, what is?

SchmidtHammer: I spoke to my father-in-law,a Fulani man himself, a while ago (due to my personal relationship with him, this was the first time I have ever considered the farmers-herders clashes from the perspective of a Fulani man), he explained certain delicate and complex intricacies that makes the proposed ranching system, that used to me a very straightforward one, now seem quite problematic IN THIS PRESENT MOMENT. The laws in our constitution are not the laws of nature. These laws, as stated in our constitution, are created considering human peculiarities, such that 'general' beliefs even though inclined towards sentiments, as long as they are adopted by a represented reasonable minority and such that IT IS POSSIBLE THERE COULD BE A WAY AROUND THEM with the conditios that it does not threaten the ORDER in the country and the fundamental rights of others (the majority) is not infringed upon. Having stated the above, it is easy to see that the problem with the proposed Ranching System is that while it is a very logically straightforward solution, it is not the most considerate, therefore not the most appropriate (at least in the short term) and using a method analogous the Occam's Razor for solutions in politics and human relations is unreasonable in my opinion. Open cattle rearing is a culture and proposing a change in this culture must be approached as sensitively as other important cultures of the other tribes. One does not expect that a culture be abandoned overnight, nor that laws guiding a country be entirely insensitive to the peculiarities of the people bound under it. As in developed worlds, these are the kinds of problems that are confronted by Political scientists, Economic analysts and sociologists, putting forward a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of THE PROBLEM OF HERDERS in the country. Are you drunk or something Open grazing is a culture So destroying people’s livelihoods is a culture you can’t live without, with your small education you still can’t reason straight!!! Smh! |
