HealthRe: How Can Someone Get Rid Of Shaving Irritations? by spoilt(f): 5:51am On May 25, 2007
O king:
and for heavens sake what is a bikini wax.how and where is it done?
To perform a bikini wax, a female technician applies warm wax to a woman's pubic area, places cloth strips atop the wax, and then removes them when the wax hardens by pulling the material off the skin. Often a small thatch of hair is left above the "kini", sometimes in the shape of a heart or triangle.

Why Have a Bikini Wax?

For a woman with profuse pubic hair, a bikini wax will ensure she isn't embarrassed when showing a bikini line when wearing a thong, string bikini, or other skimpy swim suit. Also, some women and their partners believe that a hairless or nearly hairless pubic area looks and feels more erotic, and say that hair removal makes MouthAction more enjoyable.
FamilyRe: Still Bearing Your Maiden Name After Marriage? by spoilt(f): 5:34am On May 25, 2007
i kept my maiden name for a while after i got married. the hassle of changing all my documents and id's and bank account names was a nightmare. my husband didnt say one word about it but when i changed it,i could tell he was ecstatic. grin

TravelRe: The New Yorker Magazine Article On Lagos by spoilt(f): 5:10am On May 25, 2007
those that love lagos dont mean the filth and rot. they probably mean the people, food and familiar territory. after all obodo oyibo may be sparkling clean but life in the states or u.k can be hellishly agonising for a foreigner. undecided

FashionRe: Why Do Women Of African Descent Relax/perm Their Beautiful Hair by spoilt(f): 4:29am On May 25, 2007
all said and done, nappy hair is difficult to manage.
saying that doesnt mean you arent proud to be a black woman. it just means our hair is difficult to manage. simple.
all these guys talking here have never had a full head of natural hair. only at most one inch. so how can they know what the heck it is like running a comb through an afro nappy and taming it for work? grin
HealthRe: Cosmetic [Plastic] Surgery is So Bad? by spoilt(f): 4:59am On May 24, 2007
it depends on what you are trying to correct. some people have very prominent features that need help. grin
you shouldnt overdo it so that the people you grew up with will no longer recognize you.
FamilyRe: Doing "business"/too Cheap With Wife And Kids by spoilt(f): 4:42am On May 24, 2007
didnt you guys talk before you got married?
didnt you see some of these traits before you got hitched? he's just acting like a lot of men. not necessarily because he's african, and as to whether he has a second wife in africa? chances are that he might. but i guess you'll never know.perhaps a visit to africa with him? i dunno. right now focus on bettering your lot and the lives of your kids. if push comes to shove you can take care of you and your kids. good luck. wink
TravelRe: The New Yorker Magazine Article On Lagos by spoilt(f): 3:59am On May 24, 2007
he cant be blamed. each time i return to naija to visit, i am alarmed at how the whole place has decayed. shocked
its so bad. there's filth in the middle of the streets, the air is thick and polluted. its really bad! [s]even the people look oily and greasy as if they have been burnt or something.[/s] we are just so used to living in that squalor. i dont blame a visitor for actually writing about it. lagos is one of our major cities and visitors are always shocked when they touch down. its a mess. i personally never throw stuff out of the window of a car or on the streets. i cant change the nation but i can control my own actions.

FamilyRe: Why Would A Man Go For A Second Wife? by spoilt(f): 4:33am On May 23, 2007
@babyosisi

its about time we stopped attaching more importance and respect to paid labor. housewives dont get paid for all their toils.they hardly even get a thank you. but what they do is still a job. luckily there are some men who truly appreciate what their wives do.
FamilyRe: Another Baby Girl (After Two Daughters!) by spoilt(f): 3:55am On May 23, 2007

TravelRe: Woman Loses 11.8 Million Naira To US Immigration by spoilt(op): 3:48am On May 23, 2007
nurses only work 3 days a week in 12 hour shifts.
if you calculate their annual salary based on those numbers of course its going to be nothing fantastic.but most of them dont just sit down at home for the other 4 days in the week doing nothing. they are used to working everyday at other jobs so they work on those days too and get paid over time for it. infact the so called overtime is how they make their money. infact i heard of a nurse who shocked her tax man when she whipped out her w2 during tax filing. this owu ite filipino woman had worked $500,000 for that tax year. i almost died of shock. she must have lived in the hospital from one shift to the other. wonders will never end.

TravelRe: Woman Loses 11.8 Million Naira To US Immigration by spoilt(op): 3:25am On May 23, 2007
this is just by the way but why is it so shocking to believe that nurses make a lot of money?

i manage people's portfolios and nurses make good money and they gross quite a lot annually too. grin
im amazed myself at how much these women make. just about every nigerian woman i know here has abandoned her college degree and headed for nursing. i know there's a disparity in wage levels among different states but in california, nurses get hecka paid! i kid you not. plus they get greedy with overtime and virtually sleep in the hospital. grin grin. $92,000 really doesnt seem like a lot to have. its just a lot to be carrying in cash. undecided

Jokes EtcTaxi Driver by spoilt(op): 5:45am On May 22, 2007
A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder
to ask him a question. The driver screamed, lost
control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the
footpath and stopped centimeters away from a shop
window.
For a second everything went quiet in the cab; then
the driver said “looks mate, don’t ever do that again;
you scared me”. The guy says ‘sorry’ and the driver
replied “Sorry, it’s not your fault. Today is my first
day as a cab driver. I’ve been driving a funeral van
for the last 25 years!”
