Its a strange thing that boys who experienced or witnessed domestic abuse to their mothers turn around and do the same thing to their women. I dont get it. Why would Chris brown punch, bite and choke Rihanna?   . Seriously? Biting? biting like a rodent?    He has a superstar girlfriend and he doesnt know what to do with her!

I know its not easy. I have kept secrets before ok? Big secrets that did me no good. So this secret keeping thing is not an issue that only you has experienced. One thing i know for sure is that the peace and calm you experience now by lying and hiding things is only very very temporary. No matter what any one says honesty has always been the best policy. Dishonesty is like an  open festering sore that only truth can heal. The guy has already loved you. Its hard to unlove someone the same way you cant unring a bell. 
I just think that your priority right now should be to tell him the truth as soon as you can. you know him, you know his moods, you know how much he can take at one sitting. He can blow up and everything but eventually he'll come to accept it. At least if anything, they are not all living with you. They may make some demands of you from time to time but they are your family. Its a question of love me , love my family. He'll come around. He may not even hala as much as you think he will. If anything he may be more mad that you hid it.

All you have to do is attend a relative's wedding and all the older aunties would stir the conversation towards your biological clock. Women are almost made to believe that at 23 their eggs are rotten. Women in their late thirties are popping kids out left right and center everyday . I dont know why the pressure on single girls. Everything in naija is ascribed to witchcraft. I went to church 3 wks ago after a long time and there was some guest evangelist straight off the plane from naija preaching his sermon of doom. Its been a while since i heard this type of thing. he was knocking people down in the name of annointing. i mean physically pushing them and recounting stories of people giving birth to rocks and monsters. Suffice to say, im not going back there anytime soon.
