Secondly, intertribal marriages are a norm in my family. So we have many Yoruba inlaws (the so-called "Afonjas) and many of them are very nice people who are not ethnically biased like some of you here.

Thirdly, you are yet to tell us conclusively that the people of Anioma are not Igbo. Also, tell us what constitutes "normal Igbo" and "abnormal Igbo".

Until you can do that, you fit the people described by Marcus Garvey. You cannot run away from your shadows! You are Igbo, whether or not you are from old Bendel State, or Delta state or from Saturn. Period!

Very soon, the real owners of Delta State (Urhobos, Itsekiris, etc) will put you in your place.

I lived with Ikwerres for a long time. They speak Igbo well! Even those from Etche and Egbema speak Igbo as well, same with the Opobo people who speak Igbo (the native language of their first king Jaja who came from Nkwerre) and Igbani, the language of the Bonny people which Jaja learnt as a slave growing up in the Manila Pepple house.

I can lecture you all year long on Nigeria's human geography and history. Thank God I grew up when history was still being taught in primary school.

Language belts are not defined by articially created state boundaries. Do you not know that you have Yorubas who are from Benin Republic and Togo? Or that Hausa speakers are found all the way up north in Mali and even Senegal? Or that you have Ijaws who are from Ondo State? The same way that Igbo speakers are found in Delta state! You also have Idoma speakers in Cross River.

(3) Finally, As a man. DO NOT sacrifice your own career and future ambitions for any Nigerian lady, they are not worth it, they all have short memories. I know they are few good ones out there. But never you ever sacrifice your life for anyone's career. We should all remember Teebliz for what he did and not what we were told. He picked up Tiwa and put her in the pinnacle of her career, what did he get in return? Nothing.

Nothing is free in this world. The missionary schools were paid for by contributions and funding from the parent churches abroad. The aim of missionary education was to produce literates who could administer the govt and business structures the colonialists had on ground.
