BusinessRe: Sunti Sugar To Retain All 2,400 Staff Despite COVID-19 Challenges by Sterope(f): 12:36pm On May 14, 2020
Does your explanation make sense to you?

Why would they cut labour hours when they are making a lot of money?

vertueptime:
Some companies are just wicked, some made more gains than ever and still follow bandwagon of laying off workers to cut cost, when they were making abnormal profits they never gave the staff more welfare, just 3months delay on sales/ manfacture with little or no loss to some then they start making noise
BusinessRe: Sunti Sugar To Retain All 2,400 Staff Despite COVID-19 Challenges by Sterope(f): 12:35pm On May 14, 2020
Lol. Sugar isn't part of essential food. Many people would skip sugar in meals and it doesn't help that it has gotten more example..

Virginnn:
well, as a food manufacturing coy, they are not expected to lay off workers. The only things we spend money on these days are food and, yes, data. Agro based industries are expected to rack in huge profits.
In any case, everyone must look inwards and start considering working for themselves. Start a small business.
BusinessRe: Why Don’t Nigerians Leave Reviews? by Sterope(f): 6:31pm On May 13, 2020
People don't even write negative reviews. Buying online is a nightmare in Nigeria.

Happy birthday!

pocohantas:
Pay for you to write reviews? That is a new one o. I get your idea of motivating people with money, but I never knew it has gotten to this extent. grin

We write this one fast, though sometimes we dey tire to write negative reviews. I know people that leave it to karma and God.

The business that can fail
Ladikwa:
I thought she loved me not knowing that she was just after my money. But I was not able to spend much because I am broke for now, but I have land I am in the process of selling to start a business which she didn't know because I didn't tell her cause I don't trust her that much.

Well, we broke up because she has a guy that is the main boyfriend, without me Knowing thinking I was number one.

I just look back and imagine how much this girl will have chop from me. Though I love her and am hurt after the breakup, I'm grateful that all the amount of money I would have loved to spend on her, to show my love I can use it to build my business and help those around me.

And it taught me how not to trust girls 100%, and to be very careful about loving while using my head. If she knew about the land I wanted to sell she would have continued pretending to love me.

"Guys be careful, don't trust these girls 100%"

CrimeRe: Why I Sold My Baby For N130,000 — Orphan by Sterope(f): 8:48pm On May 12, 2020
You will be encouraging human trafficking. Nigeria may nit be perfect but it we should encourage actions that have ruined lives of the powerless. All parties involved are aware that it is wrong.

Amotolongbo:
Left to me, I don’t see anything bad in what the lady did. Only that she didn’t follow the legitimate process. Come to think of it, is there anything so legitimate with nigerian systems?

Instead of giving birth to the southern almajiri, she opted selling her baby willingly to couple who can take care of it. The only problem is the third parties involved and the authenticity of the buyer.

Imagine them quoting me down there on my opinion. What if she chose having the baby and being unable to cater for the baby, it is these same set of people that will crucify the woman for keeping a baby she can’t cater for.

You abused a goat undecided. It is not its fault that its owner is irresponsible.

Pluse992:
Advise Me Please. Should I Confess?

I recently packed into my apartment somewhere in Ogun, and my neighbor's goats have been sleeping at the back of my apartment near my window and they have been urinating and passing out faeces making my room inhabitable.

So the other day, I poured some hot water on one of the goats. I discovered that the woman is into traditional medicine. She has been making some incantations since yesterday concerning the goat. And I am scared that she will hurt me.

Should I confess or be brave? What should I do?

RomanceRe: Tips For Dating A Nigerian Woman In America by Sterope(f): 2:22pm On May 08, 2020
Lol. Traditional wife is so foreign. Women in most cultures in Nigeria had a job. These women were also expected to make the home right.

You may not know this, a woman can move mountains herself if she so desires exception include where it requires strength. It is down to biological differences. We actually had chilvary in the world, there would be less women talking about more rights.

Wake me up where Chilvary include actual respect for women not some pseudo respect to keep women subdued.

I don't give masculinity a bad name, I am not responsible for that. I appreciate the gender differences. However, it doesn't stop me from calling out actions that harm the other gender on the umbrella blanket of 'masculinity'.

I really don't know what the problem is though, you used a very derogatory word on Nigerian women now you are trying to flip it on me. There are many Nigerian women that are ready to become traditional wives anyways. Find one and marry..

Kingarthur21:
where did the issue of doormat or disrespect come from in our conversation? Its obvious you don't know what a traditional wife is.
Men have moved mountains and sacrificed their lives for traditional women. If you can't differentiate between doornar and not a traditional wife then I can't proceed with this conversation.

You ladies give masculinity a bad name always, you always omit chivalry from masculinity and define it in terms of oppressing women

I don't know of that woman that wants her husband to respect her as another adult but who would prefer a doormat for her brothers. Example, is me. My brothers don't want a doormat and their masculinity is not threatened because of fear of treating another human being with respect, kindness and understanding.

Kingarthur21:
oh please stop using the you-have-mothers-and-sisters card for me.

I can't marry someone like my sister, the honest truth.

Just like how you ladies want to marry as woke women who is equal to men but you want your sons to marry traditional women.

oshaosha2014:
That’s funny. I just hope the African men overseas, especially in places where a man is second class citizen to a woman, will not sign away their lives in the name of marriage. That is the only way they can escape the wrath of this power hungry, feminist who are not qualified to be wives in the first place. You don’t wife another man like you. The western world have turned their women to men. Don’t go and marry another man like you.

oshaosha2014:
You are stupid for telling a man to go and marry his mother. I see nothing wrong with the way Nigerian men were brought to be the man and be in control of their relationships. Real men don’t do that 50/50 shit. It is better for a man to just be on his own than deal with any useless lady who thinks she can’t serve a man. Your place as a woman is to serve your man.

RomanceRe: Tips For Dating A Nigerian Woman In America by Sterope(f): 2:21am On May 08, 2020
Do you realise that once upon a time in the Western world, they used to treat women the same if not worse like we are doing?

Our laws and cultures are abckwards because they do not respect and recognise the autonomy of women.

Western laws do not empower women to chase out men. It empowers women against abusive partners. Unfortunately, sometimes it has led to the abuse of the system by women but still, women are still getting murdered. Until the law finds a way of balancing that, we are still stuck. However it is better than our society that relish in mistreating women all because they have got vaginas

emmaodet:
Bro i understand you clearly and let us look at it this way -
If we say the african culture or setting is backward simply because a man has the ability to chase out the woman if she commits then same can be said about the western culture which is the opposite of african culture that it is a backward society that encourages and empower women to chase out men when they commit or Even when they didn't commit.
Atleast, you will agree with me that a woman can just pick up a phone and call the police, inform them that the hubby wants to kill her or molesting her and they will kick his ass out.
Please tell me, is there any difference between a man that can call his family to kick his wife out in nigeria and a wife that can call the police to kick her hubby out abroad? Am just flipping the scenario, same story but different players.
So if you agree nigerian culture is backward because the law is tilted towards men then you need to agree that the western culture is Backward and Archaic for tilting towards women, children and animals before men.
We shouldn't let the hate we have for nigeria becloud us.
RomanceRe: Tips For Dating A Nigerian Woman In America by Sterope(f): 11:09pm On May 07, 2020
Or they should go for Nigerian women are still very traditional

pDudd:
First tip: Leave that your native brain in Nigeria.

If you're the kind of man that will sit on the sofa and be watching UEFA champions league and be telling a woman that she should go and cook, serve you, bring you water to drink and wash hand, you are in for a rude shock. Nigerian women in US have opened eye now o. They are not going to serve you like master and servant while your stretch your legs on sofa and be watching football.

If your mother did that for your father, please go and marry your mother so she too can come and be serving you like a king. Nigerian women ain't doing that for you.

Before you leave Nigeria, better learn how to cook, clean house, do laundry, go to buy groceries, take care of kids, and learn humility.

Learning humility is of utmost importance because the day you step your feet into America, you are now second to every woman. The American society favors women over men. They placea lot of value over men. So if you didn't respect women in Nigeria, you may need to reconsider that stance. And if you can't see yourself having a woman above you or respecting women, then better stay in Nigeria.

And many of them don't, it can go both ways. Whether Nigeria or America, anyone can be silly.

When men abuse their positions in our society, you don't complain. Use that energy to criticise unfair societies not just Western countries because it is bias towards women in some areas.

Which stupid assertion? Are you bereft of the ability to comprehend?

ZombieNation:
You are really a typical afonja rat.

My original post dismissed the OP's assertion that this judge single handedly denied MKO Abiola the presidency.

I followed up by stating that if there should anybody to be blamed for the June 12 annulment and MKO's murder it should be the Yoruba politcal groups, elders and Obas.

When and where did I blame the north you yaribanza coward?
PoliticsRe: Dahiru Saleh Is Dead! Judge Who Annulled June 12 Election Dies by Sterope(f): 8:27pm On May 07, 2020
You are still writing nonsense. We don't BLAME any region. Whether the North is pro Abacha or anti Abacha, we DON'T BLAME any region. Continue being a silly bigot. May your life reflect your intention towards other regions.

ZombieNation:
lol.

The north was and still is solidly pro-Abacha.

Abacha was a legend in the north even more revered than your lord khalifar Buhari NOT because of any major development he brought to the north but merely from stopping that yaribanza fake muslim from ruling them.

Abacha succeeded in thwarting June 12 because of Yoruba betrayal of Abiola.
PoliticsRe: Dahiru Saleh Is Dead! Judge Who Annulled June 12 Election Dies by Sterope(f): 7:25pm On May 07, 2020
No Yoruba is blaming the North and the Igbo though. People blame military dictatorship. Don't be a foolish bigot.

ZombieNation:
Leave the ab0ki judge alone.

Yorubas where the biggest saboteurs of June 12 and MKO Abiola.

Abiola was hated by the Awoist Yoruba political group. They saw him as a traitor because of his alliance with Shagari and the NPC in the 1979 elections that Awolowo lost by a landslide.

They NEVER supported him and where only after milking him dry during his campaign. When he won the election, these same back stabbers where more surprised than any one in Nigeria.

Yoruba Obas, Politicians, leaders and academics all paid homage to Abacha and were regularly on his payroll.

They were even jostling for VP position to Abacha in his ill fated civilian transition. Even your Tinubu was shortlisted by Abacha after he lobbied Chagoury for the position- reason why a close business associate and political lobbyist, money launderer and international fixer of Abacha is till this day both a close friend and business associate of Tinubu.

You Yorubas should stop blaming Abacha, Igbos, the north for the annulment of June 12 after all an Igbo man was the umpire of that election which has been adjudged the best and freest in Nigeria's history.

June 12, just like Biafra FAILED because of internal treachery by Yorubas and Igbos respectively.
FamilyRe: Wife Sent Packing For Questioning Husband Over Her Mother-in-law's Visit by Sterope(f): 2:53pm On May 07, 2020
It is not her family. Her family would not come impromtu and she would have planned for it WITH her husband. Someone like my mum would never agree at all without a very good reason.

Also, it is her money. Not all bankers are earning 6 figures.

gentle70:
That's your friend's (wife) part of the story... She'll definitely tell you the story in a way that favours her (that won't make her guilty). There's more to it that she may have refused to tell you. By the way, if the wife is a banker... how much is FOAM that she can't buy in order to improvise and manage pending the time her in-laws will leave? Assuming it was her relatives that came visiting, I'm sure that this kind of topic will not originate from your friend. Ladies matter is a course of study on it's own.

Even a Court will hear from both parties before advising/making necessary judgement. Unless I hear from both parties... I rather remain on the fence.
FamilyRe: Wife Sent Packing For Questioning Husband Over Her Mother-in-law's Visit by Sterope(f): 2:50pm On May 07, 2020
It is not everybody that has stupid useless mothers who have chosen to be insensitive about their children's marital lives. Come on, there is no scenario on earth some of our mothers would act like that. There is also no scenario where some men would be insensitive to their partners' needs. I don't see how a newly wed man with common sense, understanding the constraints he finds himself will choose to accommodate a man, his gf plus his mother in a house with just one bed.

solmus:
