Romance › Re: Feminists Are Insecure, Paranoid And Unreasonable by Sterope(f): 3:34pm On Oct 24, 2017 |
Responsibilities cannot be shared equally. One partner will always end up doing more on the home front than the other. It might even end up being the partner who earns more. It should not matter who does what if it is in the interest of the family. I think the whole point of this argument is to discourage the disparity of domestic chores and the person who does them; to demystify payment of bills and the person that pay the bills in familial relationships; to criticize the assignment of gender roles and primarily to promote freedom of choice. A man cannot cook because of many reasons except having a penis and a woman can cook because of many reasons except having a vagina. Daeylar: Nice what do you think about a situation where they want to share the responsibilities, they are not assigning roles, they are sharing all the responsibilites equally, That's the discussion I was having with the first guy.
Lol, the problem is that I'm having a discussion with someone, another person flies from nowhere into my mentioñs talking about something different. Just because he wants to show that he too knows about feminism, desperatly trying to insert himself into a conversation he doesn't understand and he even admits that he doesn't understand what we are talking about, but he can't humble himself, apologize and ask me to explain. Or at the very least fûck out of my mentioñs. he nows starts shifting goal posts to defend his earlier mistake, Then goes on to insult me to his friend. But at the same time expects me to entertain his foolishness, Rudeness and foolishness rolled into one.
I need to really observe the kind of mentioñs I get and really filter out the ones that deserves a response and the ones that should be ignored.
This is what the guys question was
Note, he said sharing bills, not about roles in the family, not about who is earning more should pay the bills, not about the abilty to pay bills since with this question it is implied that both have the ability to handle the bills in the house. he said, "sharing" and my response to him was based on that, sharing the bills,
This was my response
Compare that question and our replies to each other following that with this. |

Very scary, one minute they are mocking you for choosing to think and act differently, the next minute they are cursing all men with so much venom. pocohantas: Yes, it's usually very scary. They sound so scarred and vindictive. Most of them are even married...and they keep telling us we know nothing about men and how to handle them
There was one I looked at and wondered how she'll train her daughter with the amount of hate in her...scary!! |

Depends on the grades. 3As, 1B and 1C is a pass in law school but not in university or 4As and 1C is a pass in law school but not in University and so on. You can be self employed. bobkezel: You think? I don't think so. I think a law school pass is kinda equivalent to university 2.2. My anger is, where is the job? |

I think it is the same consequences you face when you graduate university with a 2:2, bobkezel: And what's the implication of having a 2nd class lower, is there any. |

Education › Re: 1,272 Fail Nigerian Law School Exam by Sterope(f): 9:56am On Oct 22, 2017 |
Actually no. Law school grading is very unusual. You are graded with you lowest grade, so; 5As-first class; 4As and 1B+ is a 2:1; 4As and 1B is a 2:2 and 4As and 1C is a pass. Basically a 2:2 could be 5Bs and a pass could be 4As and 1C or 3As, 1B+ and 1C. vicade: Out of 5891, only 240 could get a first class and a second class upper. Na wa o. :This indiateras only 4 percent are good enough technically or is there something else I am missing ? |

It is not by connection. Every law graduate who is fit and proper will be automatically admitted. comshots: Charge-and-bail liewyers. To get admission into the law school is by conection. No wonder we have them quacks. |

Sorry, I can't do this with you Praktikals: Women don't cease to amaze me. Let me gist you what is happening right now. someone from my village got permission from her husband to visit me together with her children. She dropped the children at my place and went to her boyfriend s place to 'grease her engine'. Can you imagine that? If the husband finds out and throws her out, will the boyfriend take her in? I confronted her and she confessed that its because her husband is too old. After God, I fear women. |

Actually, what she did is very wrong but it does not excuse his behavior. He could have walked away and broken things up A relationship does not mean give one the permission to assault the other. Praktikals: You don't see anything wrong in what the lady did? I think the guy is the lucky one; no one deserves a promiscous wifey. I think the slap was well deserved |

He is but she is more lucky. udemzyudex: And he is a lucky man too..
Though I don't support the fact that he slap the lady.
Now you've given her something to defend herself with, the best thing he should have done is to leave her alone.
Only God knows how many months or years the op left her, human are emotional being not logical being.
It takes the grace of God for a person to remain faithful in such condition. |
