You would know that Abacha didn't steal up to that amount because your were buddies with him, right?
.
Konami94:
Help me tell them bro. Even Abacha as a dictator, didn't steal up to $10b in 5 years, with maximum access to the CBN. How much does Nigeria make, that only a minister would remove $90b? Then how much would the likes of IBB, OBJ, Tinubu, Saraki , GEJ & co have stolen. Would Nigeria not have totally crashed by now.

Well, he has a history of being an attention seeker. His fault, not theirs.

Also, his admission was conditional. Basically, I think the letter of warning was appropriate considering his antecedent.

When a 34 year old man chooses to behave like a primary school boy, he definitely deserves what he gets.

oz4real83:
I am ashamed if this is coming from a school that trains our lawyers. It is a case of victimization. Why will u give a warning letter when he hasnt committed any crime? All his crimes were done in the university environment. If the university deemed it fit to have allowed him to graduate and did all his clearance, why would the law school bring up the issue again? Why declare him already guilty in the law school when he hasnt been accused of any crime within the law school? His actions were predicated by the actions of the law school.

Romance › Re: Dating A Broke Guy Is Not A Guarantee He Will Marry You When He Becomes Rich by Sterope(f): 1:56pm On Jul 25, 2017
@bolded

Yeah, in a world where Romeo marries Juliet and they live happily ever after.

Being good doesn't guarantee happiness, loyalty, trust, love. Although it should but life happens.

Kondomatic:
No guy leaves a GOOD woman who stood by him when he was poor.

Lemme Highlight Some Things.

1. Dating a broke guy doesn't mean you are a good woman

2. Dating a broke guy and building a future with a broke guy are not the same

3. Dating a guy because you've looked into his future and seen that he will turn out great is not love, dating, support or whatever you girls take it to be. It is an investment into his blessing with nothing and every investor losses.

4. If you date a guy when he was broke but didn't invest in him or support him(and prayer isn't the support I am talking about here, his mama prayers for him even in sleep) , he owe you nothing and can break up with you anytime

5. Dating a broke guy is like sponsoring a lady's education when she is not married to you, they come back with another guy instead of certificate most times.
Career › Re: How Do Atheists Handle Religion In The Workplace? by Sterope(f): 11:30am On Jul 25, 2017
You don't have to be an atheists to be affected. I believe in God and I am also affected.

I am a Muslim. I don't wish to hear ‘In Jesus Name' and I am definitely not going to bore you with ‘May Allahs'. It is very annoying. I remember attending an occasion where after the Christian and Muslim prayers. A lady stood up to pray too.She wasn't Muslims nor a Christian. I bet many people would have hated it yet they wouldn't admit to themselves that they brought it upon themselves.

Religion is private. Keep your religion to yourself. I can't called to pray in a public gathering and I will proceed to pray. It has happened before several times and I always decline. Please, mind your religion.

I thought men were the logical ones, men on this thread couldn't have proven the ijiot who came up with that phrase more wrong.

A housewife saved N700 000 in 7 months which means on the average she saves is N100 000 in a month. I have how much her husband gives her on a month?

How many of you ij.iots give your housewives up to N50 000 in a month. You only have the right to express an opinion. At least not yet!

She may not have been ready initially. You were so desperate that you slept with another because of it, that is a red flag to refuse you many times over. However it does sound suspicious for her to refuse you again especially if she was sexually active in a preceding relationship before this one but then it is a bit understandable given your history.

What is 'exposing' about having a stillbirth?

You are the one to judge. You are a bloody hypocrite! I wouldn't normally say this but most people would consider you more morally bankrupt than a person who chose to keep a baby. You aborted a baby for goodness sake. You have no standing to feel somehow or think anyhow of someone who chose to keep a baby.

And if it is sex that makes you think that she is exposed, you have personal issues you really need to deal with. You have no moral high ground to an opinion on this issue. Walk away if you can't take it. She definitely doesn't deserve to be subjected to your 'thoughts'.

Nerdg:
I don't think she's trying to test me

My worry is why she had always refused me sex whereas she's this exposed. Could it be because of this she accepted my proposal?

Just because you went to a school and learnt something doesn't make it valid especially if it on issues that are open to interpretation.

They are to be viewed suspiciously. It is easy to turn personal opinions into religious ones, Quranic proofs or not. It is very easy to manipulate religious text to align with personal conviction. I have seen too many disagreeable conviction especially with fatwas. Proving or disproving matters like that is a purely academic exercise.

1) what does barbing a part of your head have to do with dreadlocks? I can't see what you are seeing because I am yet to see where shaving/barbing is needed for dreadlocks?

2) Cutting of babys hair has nothing to do with natural dreadlocks. My hair was cut, still I can decide to have natural dreadlocks.

3) The ARAB unbelievers chose to PUNISH themselves by not combing their hair. How on earth would you link it to dreadlocks? How did you even sef manage to think that it is related to the topic at hand?

People who decide to LOC their hair or leave their hair uncombed do NOT do so to PUNISH anyone INCLUDING themselves. They brush their dreads, shampoo, condition and oil as often as you maintain your hair. Those who got their hair loc'ed have theirs maintained by hairstylist on a monthly basis.

Clearly you don't know jack about dreadlocks. It is not nice to make things up to feel good. undecided Also if culture doesn't like it, good for culture. Wetin be my own and cultureundecided. I believe that dislike for dreadlocks is a new thing. I doubt if it was like that in the olden days

kennypedia:
you didn't ask me for proof but I only commented on your ignorance. firstly many islamic text and literatures were preserved in Arabic so for you to know about Islam you must be well grounded in Arabic.
now back on delil on forbidding afro, dreadlocks and other un-islamic hairstyles : it was reported that Abdullah bin umar(sahaba) radiyallahu anhu was warning one of the tabiheen that the prophet (saw) al qazahu the the tabiheen (naafi) what's al qazahu. Abdullah bin umar then said that a man should shave part of his hair and leave part. it was also reported in sahih Buhari that one of the sings of the follower of masihu dajal is they will barb part of their hair and leave part.
as for dreadlocks the prophet commanded us to barb the hair of our newly born child (because it's impure ) call to prayer one of his ear and iqama on other and give him a nice name. when someone deliberately disobey the prophet he is regarded a non believer. this is so because the quran emphasise on the obedience of the prophet to be equal to obedience of Allah. and to buttress the quran said whatever the prophet brings to you or commands you follow and anything he forbade restrain from it. and it is also the culture of the disbelievers not to punish themselves by standing in the sun not combing their hair and not eating and drinking and this occurred in the lifetime of the prophet and he said if the hot sun of Makkah heat her she will go inside if lice and dread forms on her hair she will comb it and if hunger deals with her she will ask to be given food.
you can keep your hair as long as it's not the one you were born with. and here in Nigerian most people regards anyone with dreads a mad man before the advent of this fashion. I personally keep my hair and make sure I comb it frequently. but as for artificial dread I can't comment on that but since our culture dislikes it we can regard it as disliked and not forbidden. #DADAISNOTISLAMIC
