Letdemsay02: thank you for the advice.Baba no reason the money, to be sincere Eno reach do anything. I have bear enough. I want to change hustle to see if there will be any changes in my life. First and foremost, do you have spare time from work. Is the factory work taking up your whole days from Monday to Sunday? If no, try to start your hustle as a side one. Keep building it until you are confident you can survive on it and then have more time to grow it. At that point, you can stop the factory work. |

Thephilosopher1: I am not defending married women who go about sleeping with men. But then, why would a man approach a woman, looked into her eyes and say I love you, she says I love you too, you marry her, bring her home, had unprotected sex with her, she becomes pregnant and delivers a baby, how come you now begin to have doubt that the baby is not yours, how did you manage to conceive that Idea. Like seriously? Do you read news? Ok, let me answer your question. I can't remember the man's name now. There was this man whose case went viral not too long ago. His wife Moyo Thomas a banker, was said to be sleeping with and having kids for her top bank executive boss. The children happened to she a striking resemblance with that bank executive as he is known to the couple. The woman's behavior towards the husband made him take the initiative to do DNA tests for the children and it turns out that none of them were his. Read it up here: https://www.nairaland.com/6345495/dna-scandal-im-innocent-lateThis other story below is a recent one. The activities of the woman such as taking away the husband's cars, money etc and giving same to another man was the lead that made the man to do DNA tests and the results should that he is not the biological father of his three children. https://www.nairaland.com/8104762/dna-test-reveals-nigerian-footballerSo, you can see that there is always a lead. It is either the woman starts showing signs of lack of interest in the marriage, she was caught in some form of cheating, etc before the man will then start having double mind about her. |

Then they get money and they want to go for the IG model that was out of their reach initially. The one they pretended to hate the whole time for being too worldly. This thing you just said applies to some ladies too. They date the current guy to get whatever benefits they can at the moment even though it is not up to what they want/may not even like him, dump him as soon as they find another that can pay the bills better and they won't hesitate to move to another if he can pay more desirable bills. My point therefore, is that all these generalizations and gender wars is not it but rather all these issues can best be considered at individual level. |

Why does it appears I am being critical here: It is because if your neighbor, co-worker, friend or relative lend you such amount of money now with little or no interest, you would not have appreciated it and even pick up fight when it is time for repayment. So, high interest rate offered by the loan apps coupled with the heart attack that comes with it is good for you guys. |

If you know how sleath and dangerous women are, you won't take number 2 advise.
When the going gets tough or things are not as rosy as it seems you think she won't jump at the next available highest bidder.if there's anything a man must understand, they must realise that A WOMAN THAT DOESN'T LOVE YOU CAN NEVER BE LOYAL TO YOU.if she's loyal, submissive or respectful to you, she's only pretending because the going is still good and you're still a useful supply to her.thr moment you stop giving her the things you used to give her that's when you will know she was never loyal, she was just pretending.a woman who loves you will be considerate of your feelings, show you empathy and sympathy but the ones who don't love you will go and fvck another man and push it on you while you're just her ordinary ATM .dey play "Kayode Olanrewaju" treatment |

And the only encouraging thing here is that Urhobo women don't cheat in marriage. It's a very big taboo, reason why most of their women comes with a very high mileage before marriage 😂😂 Who wants to cheat will cheat. Forget those taboo of a thing. Some of these reckless and immoral individuals give no f'ck. A southern girl even told me that in their culture, when women cheat, it is their husbands that the taboo's negative effect affects (he will die a sudden death) if he is aware that his wife is cheating and secretly forgives her, continue to eat her food and have intimacy with her. Just imagine one person committing offense and another innocent person suffering its consequences. Any sense in that? I just told her I don't believe that trash and that anyone who commits, will so suffer its consequence alone too. |

Bruisecruise: So what happens in 2027 when APC returns to power through Ganduje’s candidate as governor? Dethrone Sanusi again? And the cycle continues?
To be honest, Sanusi could have thanked Abba for the gesture but declined to be returned and ask the governor to appoint another neutral Emir in his stead after the unification of the emirate back to the way it once was.
That way, it would be outrightly difficult and ridiculous for any future governor to tamper with the arrangement. Also, it would cement Sanusi as one of the greatest leaders ever.
With the current development, it has paved way for political ping-pongs to be played with the throne of the emirate.
Do you guys think Ganduje would take this fight as a defeat in his lifetime? Sanusi knows that he’s on a borrowed time no matter how we emotionally spin these events. Sanusi can't do that because he is interested in all of these. Remember how he became the emir in the first place. It was through a political game like this one by the help of Kwankwaso. Infact, the Aminu Bayero guy was supposed to replace his late dad as the emir but Kwankwaso gave it to Sanusi because he preferred the Sanusi side of the royal family as well as to use that gesture to give Sanusi some kind of immunity since the federal government then was interested in investigating Sanusi's tenure as the CBN governor. |

Double0h7: Wikipedia isn’t a good resource to start with.
From the news and current debates, china is struggling to undo the one child policy. It’s currently struggling with a new generation that no longer wants to take part in government strategies.
You have 20-30 years olds who have tapped out of societal expectations. Men and women no longer want to marry or procreate because they see through the scam.
Men and women in their 20/30s want to remain single rather than to procreate due to poverty. There are more men to women to begin with due to the 1 child policy; while the women are enjoying feminism and freedom of expectations.
They are inviting African men to entice their women into procreation and the men who can afford to leave are seeking out white women to procreate with.m;it’s coming to the end of the china we knew. Imagine a 1 billion population reduced to half by 2/3 generations due to the 1 child policy! Ok, I get your perspective now. |

Double0h7: My brother, with us women it’s ALWAYS complicated. She could be ready or not ready but the deciding factor is always “is he the right man?.”
I think the things that confuse her outside of love, outside of being ready, is the “is he right for her “ question. That’s what’s happening here.
She loves him, she thinks he could fit into her plans for the future outside her expectations (to work , live and explore post education) but he’s so different to what she expected.
Women love drama and that’s our downfall. But if we sum it up; she is not ready for this particular man and his particular situation! For those reasons she has to abort mission. But it’s her decision in the end.
The sad reality is she came here looking for an answer but we’ll just confuse her more 😂😂😂 Ohhh, I see. On the flip side, I am interested in the Chinese analogy you made. From Wikipedia, the Sex ratio of the Chinese is as follows and it doesn't seems to correlate with yours. At birth: 1.11 male to female (2020 est.) 65 and over: 0.90 male to female (2020 est.) |

Anyway, he came along and made his intention known. He is even willing to wait for me.
It's just the issues I highlighted that appear to be a stumbling block. For the good of both of you, tell him your fears and if possible, put an end to the relationship now because if he insists on waiting for you, you are likely to disappoint him. And it won't be easy for him to bear it as a result of the waiting period and the invested resources. |

Sharon999: Good afternoon, house. Mature advice is needed, preferably from married persons.
I'm in a relationship with a man who really loves me and is ready to settle down with me. I'll be rounding up my studies soon and he is willing to wait for me. I am not much of a religious person but I'm a believer. He, on the other hand, was a Christian but stopped practicing. For now, he does not involve himself in any religion and he does not have issues with me practicing my religion. For the purpose of brevity, I will quickly highlight my dilemma;
a) we are not from the same tribe ( he is Yoruba, I am Idoma) and I doubt if my parents would consent. b. The religion aspect highlighted above. c. His father is a Muslim even though his mum is a Christian.I think my parents will have issue with this.
Above all, he really loves, respects, understands and adores me. His love seems genuine and sincere. I love him too but I'm afraid the whole exercise may turn out to be futile for the both of us because of the points listed above. Should I call it off now? Please call it off to avoid needless issues later. I still don't understand why many Nigerians and other people around the world allow religious differences cause them undesirable problems. For the record, I believe the world will be a better place if these religious differences were never weaponized. What matters most in relating with other people is the character and moral compass of the individual which can be developed by individuals irrespective of the religion they subscribe to. The earlier we realize that there is only one God the creator of the who universe and people and he doesn't care about our religions, the better for the human race. And the endless wars in many parts of the world now as a result of religious differences will die a natural death. Think about these: 1. Humanity has been in existence longer than any religion as we know it today. Go verify it. Research on when man has been in existence, how long the major religious of today have been in existence. 2. The two religions whose rivalry is the cause of this disharmony in humanity are in the minority joined together when compared to other religions in the world but yet both of them are causing more harm the good to humanity. What do I mean? The population of those who practices Hinduism, Chinese folk religion, Buddhism, Taoism, folk sects, and those that identify with no religion are in the majority than those who practice the above rival religions. See below: (79.8% of the population of India practices Hinduism, 14.2% adheres to Islam, 2.3% adheres to Christianity, 1.7% adheres to Sikhism, 0.7% adheres to Buddhism and 0.4% adheres to Jainism) for INDIA (No religion / Chinese folk religion (73.56%) · Buddhism (15.87%) · Taoism, folk sects, and other religious organisations, (7.6%) · Christianity (2.53%) · Islam ( ... ) for CHINA. (Buddhism (31.1%), Christianity (18.9%) Islam (15.6%), Taoism and other Chinese religions (8.8%), Hinduism (5.0%), Other religions (0.6%), No religion (20.0%) ) for Singapore. (50% identify with no religion, 17% with Buddhism, 16% with Protestantism, 6% with Catholicism, and 1% with other religions) for South Korea. Note that there are more countries in Asia with the kind of statistics illustrated by the few I used above. 3. From the above, you should realize that God and humanity is the ultimate thing that can ensure peaceful and sustainable relationships and development in our society. |
Politics › Re: Atiku Will Keep On Contesting For President "As Long As He Is Alive & Healthy" by Stevenbright(m): 10:45am On May 23, 2024 |
emkz: Good idea.
It is his constitutional right.
Atiku has taken the record for the greatest number of presidential runs.
In 2023, he had the best shot in his life for the position. He had to be defeated to realize that division can be calamitous.
Unlike the other one, Atiku knew he lost. Because he knew this, he went to Chicago State University to prove an unfounded allegation that Tinubu never graduated from there. When he realized Tinubu graduated, he tried to prove Tinubu forged a certificate. When he realized that the Registrar of the University said they don't handle replacement certificate, Atiku took his deposition and brought it to the Supreme Court.
No US court stamped it, no US agency notarized it, no US Embassy authenticated it. Atiku knew his deposition was inadmissible.
If he believed he won, why didn't he present his polling unit agents results from the field? If he believed the election wasn't free and fair, why didn't he publish cases of irregularities?
Atiku and the other one tried to plunge Nigeria into a constitutional crisis because they lost. They are not leadership materials. However, they stand a chance if Tinubu fails.
As for Atiku, if you ever want to run again, you must avoid the following persons:
1. Dino Melaye: this is the guy you allowed to lead your campaign. He is not mature for such responsibilities.
2. Phrank Shaibu: This one spent time attacking Tinubu instead of convincing voters about your programmes. He also defended the failure of your media team to do the proper work. He misadvised you to grant two press conferences that did not cover you in glory.
3. Daniel Bwala: This one has visited the person who defeated you more than three times in 5 months. He seems to already avoid you. Either he was a mole in your campaign or never believed in you.
4. Don Pedro Obaseki: He was your head of research and ought to have been aware and properly advised you that the Chicago route was a calamity for you. The premise that Tinubu never graduated was wrong. When you realized he graduated, you shifted to certificate forgery, which ended up being punctured. He failed to guide you properly.
5. Paul Ibe: This one only became visible after you lost.
6. David Hundeyin: This one was discredited by Oxford over matters of sexism and fraud by Oxford University. He released stories on Tinubu that were based on speculations and sold them to you. He scammed you.
7. Dele Momodu: Wike referred to him as a professional buttlicker.
8. Timi Frank: In 2022, this one lied that Tinubu did not graduate from Chicago. He claimed EFCC and FBI had a letter stating so. No one saw the letter and no one knew if he was high when he said this.
9. Nduka Obaigbena: This one could not come out openly to use his media houses to endorse you.
Others are: Peter Obi (he cost you the election) and Ifeanyi Okowa (he was not as enthusiastic as you in his desperation).
I cannot add Reno Omokri, because you never gave him a role in your campaign. I suspect he tweeted the condemnation of the lynching of Deborah Samuel Yakubu on your behalf on Twitter. You deleted the tweet and pushed him away.
Reno believed in you more than the others who scammed you of your money. On a good day, you made a great point with this analytical opinion of yours. But you know what, Atiku should never become president of Nigeria for the common good of all. This is because he has invested so much in this pursuit over the years and he will be on a mission of recouping his investments plus profits to the detriment of Nigeria if he ever gets the chance. |
