Leave that house and rent a single room somewhere. This is because the urge and motivation to be creative and proactive on what next to do with your life won't come when you remain in that demeaning comfort zone.

As soon as you get yourself a room to stay, go out there and find a work to start doing no matter how small the pay and grow from there while still scouting for a better job.

I am married to a wonderful woman indeed, beautiful in and out and I have no regrets.

However recently I noticed strange body odour from her, the first day I came in and observed mild strange smell, without being malicious I said just blatantly said "what is smelling in this house" , while trying to check around I moved closed to the chair she was sitting and it became stronger then I told her maybe she needed to bath because I noticed she hasn't.

She cried heavily saying I now refer to her as a smelling wife. I begged her that that wasn't my intention, I observed and spoke on what could be done. That issue passed.

But I still perceives it from her, she doesn't bath early most times because she works remotely and she wakes up seeing piled work so she starts working immediately on her laptop.

Every marriage has issues I know, one of her's is that she doesn't like correction she sees it as if one is trying to make her inferior.

Please how can I correct her to bath early no matter the work.

Please I need honest counsel and not abuse, if you are not married please don't respond to this, thank you.

Lovely make it a duty to make sure you guys bathe together every morning before you go out to work. Do same in the evening before going to bed.

Also ask her if there is anyway you can help her in her work to reduce her workload. If it is not possible, you can some times find a way to stay around her while she works, gist with her, and occasionally take her out. All these can help increase her productivity, emotional balance and state of hygiene.

A wife is a caterer and of recent had jobs for 4days non stop having to cook meals for a four day event thus did not have a proper night rest. After the event while going home to her hubby, a man friend of the wife not boyfriend oh just customer now friend offer her a free room in his hotel to enable her have a proper rest after the 4days Hussle she decline and instead said except her husband comes along with her. On getting home she mentioned the offer to hubby, hubby declined and said it's not honourable since they have their house and would look downgrading for him to follow her to the hotel offered by a male friend.

The chair set is 200k, fixed - they're exactly as they look in the photos, without rips or anything to disclose.
The Sharp LED is 50k, fixed too. Works perfectly and has never been repaired. Nothing to disclose here too.

I want to be as brief as I can with this, so there would be enough contributions on what’s bothering me.
My Father in law wants me have my marriage ceremony in his compound but I prefer a hall or an event center.
The road to his compound is not very good which would deter a lot of people from coming to grace the occasion. It’s their right to choose the venue according to tradition but I just feel an event center would really have been more gracious than an open settings in his compound, I just felt like he’s trying to show off his new Mansion to the world as he’s a big man in his town and he told me that has been his tradition with his previous daughter. I’m really confused because this development would not allow a lot of the invitees to be there as it’s a bit far from my state and the road is really bad. What can I do about this?

Inasmuch as I desire to have a peaceful home I also don't want to push more further when all my efforts seems not working.

Some times ago, I was seeking for financial help inorder to take a walk from my marriage. Although I didn't get any. I had to sell off some of my things to be able to have some money to proceed with my intention. Right now, I can afford an apartment and now, ready to proceed.
For a while now,
Some family members whom I told, came up with the suggestion to discourage me from walking away telling me that boys need their father for proper upbringing.
Aside thinking about myself, my children are my first priorities.
But another problem is, my 9yrs old son is always sad in the house, he's always excited each time he sees my efforts on us moving away. He's developing this kind of anger in the house which I don't like.

The two of them are like cat and dog in the house. (His father can send him to bring something from the room, once he goes in, it can take him a very long time to come out and with a sad expression) which most times, he will end up beating him up for behaving rudely to him.

The both aren't compatible at all.
He has accepted the fact that his Daddy don't bring anything home for him and his brother but once he's around, he takes all the little available for them, then start shouting and finding fault in him.
Most times, I try to say sweet things about his Dad so, he don't get affected , but his response is not ok. I'm surprised that this little boy, understand many things he pay more attention to most things that's happening even when I try not to let him know.

My husband is the root cause of everything. He behave badly that even his 9yrs old son can see without me explaining.

I don't want to raise children that detest their father.

At this point in my life, I'm afraid.
Walking away with my two sons and taking care of them all by myself (which I have already been doing)
Or staying back here so they can have their father in their life like this. Hoping that one day their father could stop gambling and change, start taking responsibilities and showing love and care for them. (Which they're not seeing and is annoying them)

I guess you moving out with the kids and allowing them to spend the weekends or holidays with their Dad's in his own place will be a good option.

But I noticed something which I must point out: You claimed that the 9yrs old boy get to know of his dad's weakness all by himself which I am sure isn't the case. You sold the bad seed that is now causing the friction between him and his dad in him. Own up to this and talk him out of it now. He is only acting what you have told him!

My family is relocating and everything we own as a family is up for sale (excluding laptops, phones, clothes etc.)

For sale is:

1. A Lexus sedan.
2. A standard living room set (4 pcs).
3. A sharp LED TV (32 inches).
4. Dining set (6 seater).
5. A 1.5 KVA hybrid inverter system (Homaya), 2pcs of 200Amps Quanta SMF-VRLA batteries and its solar panels (2 pcs 380 watts mono panels).
6. 2 gasoline generators (2.5 KVA - TEC and Sumec).
7. An LG automatic washer/dryer (7kg wash and 3 kg dry).
8. A mountain bike.

And everything else a house usually has.

Selling these things is going to be hectic for me so I decided to start early - and sell in bits, starting with what we're not using most - which is the dining set.

I'll gradually upload photos of the other items as they become 'free' to go.

A friend of mine is about to marry a single mother of one. My friend doesn't have any issues with the lady. But he wants to adopt the baby legally before he can spend on him, but it seems the lady doesn't want that and is not taking the adoption seriously.
 
So this friend of mine is insisting on not allowing the boy to his house or supporting her on anything about him if he won't have any legal authority over the boy.
 
This guy loves the lady, as we all know, but he's considering letting her go if they can't come to terms with the baby.
 
My friend is also a single father of one boy and is doing all his responsibilities.

Who told you they are perfect for each other. If they are, what is her excuse for not cooperating with him on the adoption issue?

My marriage will be coming up next week. Day before yesterday my boss call me to his office and ask me what do I want him to do for me concerning my marriage. I was short of words, he asked me the second time what do I want from him. I felt humble, surprised and speechless at the same. He then asked me if I have bought my wedding suit I said "yes sir!"
