Not just the elderly, our lazy youths too. They would rather moan and wail and waste all their data watching nonsense on instagram than sit down and learn some 21st century skills. The data they waste on Instagram could have been better used watching some YouTube videos on programming, graphic design, forex trading, or any other skill.

There are 3 groups of Nigerians youths:

A Group: These are smart, hard-working, and innovative. Very few, say 10% of the youths. These are serious-minded fellows looking for how to create value. It's a pity that the Nigerian environment is not conducive.

B Group: Frustrated individuals, always here shouting yahoo yahoo to everything they don't understand without any evidence. They make up 70% of the youths, and the majority of them are likely to go into fraud given the opportunity because they are jobless and lazy at the same time.

C Group: The fraudsters. These ones don't believe that they have anything they can offer to world than to deceive and steal.

If you're in the A Group, please ignore the other two groups and network with like-minded people for your own sanity. If you can, move to a sane country because, here, insanity rules. Insane people make up the majority, from the government to the citizens.

There are many legitimate businesses you can do at the comfort of your home now. People like Daniel hustle, a member here and his brother make thousands of dollars every single week from home doing affiliate marketing, one was arrested recently by SARS claiming he was a yahoo boy . What of Many highly creative coders and software developers that make lots from sites like udemy or cousera or amazon?
Some are domain or website flippers? Some are crypto gurus and exchangers that are verified by sites like paxful and co.
The list is unending. What of real fx traders and online stock or indices, energy or metal traders?. All still boil down to dollars.
Not everyone is doing illegitimate businesses. The world has gone beyond 9-5 jobs. People can pull an online businesses now and fetch 25k$ in a month. I believe they are being given info by some bankers may be because of unusual inflow everytime especially the innocent ones.
But for those who can't use their brains and apply legal ways of making money or passive income there by spoiling legitimate businesses of others, may you be exposed and rot in jail. But efcc needs to do their verification well before parading them, but many a times, reverse is the case while many are innocent.

I totally agree with you. Our lawyers are not doing anything. The criminals in uniform don't get to pay for damages, which is why they continue with their nonsense ways.

Get rid of that mentality that working from home with a laptop means engaging in fraud. Many work legitimately with a laptop and make a good living. You can buy a laptop and work legitimately online in many different capacities.

I have seen a priest with a top certificate in Amazon Publishing, and I have seen 2 of his published books — religious books anyway. I was both excited and intrigued that I begged him for a crash course on Amazon Publishing, and he promised to do that anytime I'm less busy. Now, this is a priest with no family and is being taken care of by the parishioners. But the youths who can benefit from such opportunities are too lazy to put in the effort to develop themselves and would rather see anything laptop and internet as fraud.

My point is, you can create value with a laptop and get rewarded for the value you created. Laptop is not a criminal tool. Think of how you can create value. Those who engage in online fraud are people who have confirmed to themselves that they have nothing to offer to the world.

Now, I ask you: with everything you are made of, is there nothing you can offer to the world?

I hope the people arrested are involved in fraud. Not everyone that earns a good living working from home with a laptop is into fraud.

Pressure from Family n friends to settle but am not giving in. so this particular friend of mine(now a true definition of born again- i wont mention name) changed my mindset and promised to help me get a 'good wife material' through his fiancee.

I yielded and i reluctantly gave him d permission . I'v never met his fiancee one on one bc she stays in a different city and each time she comes visiting her guy am always busy but we speak on phone.She gave my number to her friend (my hookup) we got talking but i told her point blank that am a christian but not a born again like ur friend fiance -i club i drink socially but i dont smoke,to my surprise she told me same here! (hmmm red flag bc i was expecting otherwise since her friend was a born again). I told her no problem.

This week my guy's babe visited town ,i was very busy still but was able to meet them at d park when she was travelling back. she was already inside d bus when i drove in.
she came down from d bus to greet me since passengers were still boarding ,she's beautiful i must confess with nice curves but was wearing all those long born again gown and holding a bible .I told my guy despite leaving 'd world' for us he still got good eyes,we laughed and joked she told me her friend(my hookup) is prettier i said wow cant wait to meet her.

The reason why she left that initial bus begin to make sense to me now.
