Lanrelagboi:Did Baba just mention the people behind the destructions? And these miserable children are here fighting themselves? It's a pity what Southerners do to themselves! |
There's nothing these guys cannot do to create a make-believe moment. And someone will come and defend this. For them to act this shows how the take Nigerians — empty heads |
olanreyman:ICC things. Grandpa wise now Haven't you heard of the saying: "Anything you say will be used against you?" |
ICC see what you have caused. Grandpa is having palpitations |
Good. Thank you ICC |
If this is true, I may be inclined to support the social media bill. The Nigerian online space is becoming too toxic! |
WoundedLamb:The question is whether it has a genetic origin (nature) or acquired (nurture). You said it's the former, I said it's the latter. You changed it to feelings, which further confirms that it's nurture. There's no Gene for sexual orientation. Even Sigmund Freud understood that it's nurture when he stated that at birth, a child has bi-sexual capacity — the ability to go either way (homo or heterosexual) or maintain both. In fact, nurture pushes people to either direction to a degree, creating a spectrum. At birth, it's 0/0, but as people grow, depending on the circumstances of their upbringing, they fall into different ranges of the heterosexual/homosexual spectrum, such as 100/0, 99/1, 70/30, 50/50, 35/65, 20/80, 1/99, 0/100. A 100/0 guy is completely heterosexual. A 0/100 fellow is completely homosexual. Someone around 50/50 will obviously be bi-sexual. A person at 70/30 is predominantly heterosexual, but under certain conditions (prison, boarding schools, etc) can indulge in homosexual acts. The opposite is also true: someone at 30/70 spectrum is predominantly homosexual, but can express heterosexual love if pushed to. Note that 100/0 and 0/100 are almost impossible. Most people fall between 95/5 and 5/95 spectrum. Can the conditioning be reversed? Yes, but it depends on where one is in the spectrum. It's easier for a 40/60 fellow to move up to 55/45 than for 10/90 fellow to move to 51/49. There's no homosexuality gene. Upbringing is the key. Parents should take note. If any child ends up a homosexual, the fault is from the parents and caregivers, and not the child! The problem today is that LGBT has hijacked psychology medicine to suit their agenda. A lot of lies are pushed to the media to support their agenda. |
WoundedLamb:Now you have moved the goal post from sex and sexual genetics to feelings. That's quite funny because feelings don't last! Goodbye. |
WoundedLamb:Yes, Man, by nature, is a sexual being but who s/he sleeps with is a question of conditioning nurtured by circumstances. That's why straight can recondition themselves to become gay, and the reverse is also true — I'm sure you can accept the former and deny the latter. While there are genes that control sexual expression, there's no Gene that determines sexual orientation! |
WoundedLamb:You can say whatever pleases you. A child has no sexual orientation at birth. circumstances nurture the orientation. That's a fact. |
He said the truth. Bringing it down to biology, at birth, a child is gender neutral and has no sexual orientation. But circumstances of upbringing nurtures the child to either homo or heterosexual orientation. Parents monitor your kids. Know the kind of people they associate with and put them in the right way in time. Most times, the parents are the cause. In trying to protect their family, they allow all sorts of abomination to thrive in their home. This attitude is worst among those who form too much Christianity. The signs will always be there early enough, but they choose to ignore it. I once called a father's attention to what his son does to a younger boy. The son abuses his younger brother's friend. The younger brother found out and complained to the father, but he shouted him down. When I found out through the younger son and called the man's attention to the abomination going on in his house, he became enraged that I found out. That's how I became a mortal enemy. The man in question is an elder in Deeper Life and the personal driver of the regional overseer. His concern is his family image. He doesn't care about the boy being abused. He doesn't even care about his younger son (13-year old) that is being traumatized by what he witness almost every day. Instead, he forbade him from talking about it. I will not be surprised if the little boy grows up to become gay and start abusing other kids. May the good Lord deliver him. It's horrible! |
For those claiming to make 30% consistently, good luck with that. I just hope you aren't overleveraging. The market is season by season. It feels good as long as it lasts, but when the bad season inevitably comes, overleveraging will blow up your account! Experienced forex traders don't boast because they know that anything can happen at any moment. Good times don't call for overexcitment, and bad times don't call for despair. They simply make sure that they're protected in every season because as the Oracle of Omaha would say: "The first rule of the game is to protect your capital and the second rule is to never forget the first rule." Overleveraging kills! |
Oluwahelpme:My brother, whether you give 3% or 0.5%, I hope you learned from this news. It is against the law to run an asset management service with a personal account! Even if you have a registered company and use your company's account, ensure that your company is fully registered with SCUML. Running an asset management company without being fully registered with SCUML will make EFCC your number 1 customer, unless you want your face all over the internet with frustrated youths here calling you a scammer. |
CSTRR:I hate to delve into you guys' intelligent argument, but don't you think that the young men have a better understanding of their market sector than we outsiders? I mean, they saw value in that sector when no one else did and swiftly moved in. They worked hard to create something great that got financial giants interested in them, and at this point, they felt it's a good time to sell at the amount they did. Looking at their market sector closely, you will see that a lot of competition is coming. GTB is coming with anger. Stripe too would have come in on their own if Paystack refused to sell. These two alone could intimidate them with cash. Remember, the sector evolves so fast. If they can't keep up, they'll eventually crumble. |
plat0:This is the kind of news I want to hear. Shola and Ezra are the kind of guys I want to associate with, and not the pathetic fellows here that take pleasure in stupidity and fraud. Shola and Ezra are examples of our smart youths the government should protect at all cost, not allowing poorly trained and ignorant criminals in uniform to intimidate us for embracing technology and digital revolution! |
studentofTruth:Finally, they heeded to the voice of reason. |
ThompsonJoo:Thank you brother. You simply stated my mind. I dare any of those dumb fellows to show just one incidence where SARS charged a fraudster to court! SARs should be in their barracks and get radioed when there's a violent crime, just like SWAT and GIGN. As it stands now, they have lost their goodwill. They have to be dismantled and a new tactical unit for violent crime set up. |
The usual pump and dump scenario. NSE and pump and dump are like 5&6, more like penny stocks. |
Right way to go, but there's need to reorient the citizens. There's so much digital-phobia, especially in Southwest, and the reason is not unconnected to the media charade by criminals in uniform claiming to fight cybercrime. When they started criminalizing digital gadgets, we warned them about the implications. Soon Amotekun will start looking for people with phones and laptops. The truth is, the world has changed. A lot of intelligent professionals work for corporations in different parts of the world from their homes. A lot of jobs now don't need physical presence at the office. They're done remotely. I know an intelligent pharmacist that's an editor for a scientific journal. He works from home and earns a decent living. And there are many like him. I know several copywriters, programmers, and graphics designers working from home. These are intelligent Nigerians outcompeting their counterparts from all parts of the world. Go to Upwork and see many Nigerians with Top-Rated, Top-Rated Plus, and Expert-Vetted badges. If the government can't provide a safe and enabling environment, these intelligent folks will leave in droves like our doctors. I don't even want to talk about myself, but I know how many people from here I have kept busy this year, with some earning 6 figures on a monthly basis. While I commend this initiative, the most urgent need is protection from the people who are meant to protect us! |
Belial06:Sorry, I thought I was engaging a thinking being. I don't reduce myself to people of your level. I prefer to discuss with fellow intellectuals. Do have a great day, but remember, what goes around comes around. A piece of advice though: learn some useful 21st century skills (programming, graphics design, copywriting, etc); it will reduce your frustration. |
Belial06:So with your supposed education and exposure, you think that the right way to fight cybercrime for SARS to be randomly shooting at any young man they see on the street? Even a primary school kid wouldn't think that way. What happens to cyber-surveillance? You don't identify a cybercriminal on the streets; you nail them by monitoring the online space. A serious agency can fish out a lot cyber criminals from this forum alone. What about working with Google, Facebook, and other big techs to survey the Nigerian online space? You and I know that Google is already monitoring our online activities for their targeted ads — the reason you see ads related to the things you discussed on Whatsapp or other media the next day. If they are serious about fighting cybercrimes, why can't they take advantage of online surveillance and other similar technologies? Do you know that you too can be a victim of this rogue agency? |
Oh dear, what happened? You've always been my crush. Wish you all the best in life. |
Collect, Collect! On top people's sweat (tax)? I would rather pay 50% tax to a serious country than pay #1 tax to this set of thieves! |
Because the kingdom of God lies within me and not in a business center. |
johhhnn:Pure truth. One of the reasons for the poverty in the first place. While the rich work tirelessly to make money, the poor gather to gossip. |
The first one is praying while you should be working. The main reason Africa is poor is that the inhabitants are more religious than the people who brought religion to them. Rather than look for how to solve a problem, they pray. What do you expect from a region where religion is one of the sectors with the highest revenue. Which sector has the highest number of private jets? |
The US, UK, and EU really got them afraid. |
kappGODSWILL:Statisticians are busy in Edo North churning out perfect numbers, and some people are here rejoicing. E go shock them soon. They will soon give them the K-treatment. |
Happy Birthday Aunty, the pacesetter! Wish you all the best life has to offer. I can see so many frustrated youths on this thread. A piece of advice, the time and energy you use to hate can be better used to learn a skill. Be productive! |
