Billyonaire: Could any one with a sound mind support a reknown Boko Haram negotiator ? A man who rode on the Wings of Tunde Idiagbon's War Against Indiscipline to purport himself as anti-corruption champion, yet mere threat by IBB to expose his corruption on the PTF made him keep silent like a little rabit? A man who instead of resting in his old age goes about crying to Muslim nematodes to kill Christians and Igbos in Northern Nigeria ? Only a persona-non-grata can support Muhammedu Ibn Buhari Ibn Haram
A Bum using a moniker of Billyonaire. Your life reeks of poo! Kindly go to the market and buy a new one. Such a sectional and religious bigot!

Elueme: Young man! Why are you ranting with so much fury? Tell your CPC that they are yet considered a political party, so should stop making noise..
Juvenile, I can see that you've come to defend your corrupt and devilish patrons. There are no political parties in Nigeria but associations, nonetheless PDP is a nest of killers that have bought the conscience of misguided youths like yourself

This is an eye opener for those who
has consistently been brainwashed by
the lies of an insecure and devious
government. A government that
indirectly sponsors terrorism and its
party(PDP) as accomplice.

For folks like Abati that went from a
Conscience nurtured by Truth to that
of falsehood and Okupe the failed
doctor turned compulsive liar, its time
they know that Nigerians will not
continue to be hoodwinked.

GEJ and his party(PDP, the nest of
killers) should resolve the insecurity
problem amongst themselves. They
cannot create a problem and expect
an outsider to carry the blame. PDP -
Boko Haram

Just two days ago Olisa Metuh was advising the opposition on how to concede defeat and show a spirit of sportmanship. From the last two elections ie Edo and Ondo, we have seen PDP candidates whining and showing discontent by approaching the tribunals. Guess the saying that Charity begins at home does not apply to PDP
Politics › Re: Ribadu Report Didn’t Follow Terms Of Reference - Okupe by takedat(m): 12:43pm On Nov 09, 2012
What I think Okupe means is that since the committee could not reconcile the figures in the report, Government will not indict anybody, company or government agency found wanting.
The excuse of Orosanye has been that Ribadu over reached the mandate of the committee by recommending reprimands and since Ribadu was unyielding the best thing to do is to challenge his figures so that government won't prosecute anyone.
Hope this is not a fresh air of corruption? Nigerians are watching

andyanders: In fact, PDP should take over ACN because they have failed with the kind of attitude Fashola is exhibiting here in Lagos.
God punish PDP, we are already complaining of a god father in Tinubu, you now want a Bode George to take control.
Politics › Re: Fashola Is Rude To Non-lagosians – PDP by takedat(m): 12:07pm On Nov 09, 2012
PDP who has been in power for 13 years should take the blame cos if they had provided good governance people won't think it necessary to leave other states in search of a better life in Lagos. Lagos state receives allocation just like every other state, if the other states had catered for the welfare of its people Lagos would have had fewer people trooping in on a daily basis. There should be even distribution of wealth all across the federation so that people won't take Lagos as their Nigeria and Fashola as their President

formular123triol: nxt barr election,ACN may lose-out virtually all states big tym 4 dis current prob. I trust Nigerians(Lagosians especially),they hate being subjected 2 frustration
Fashola is less concerned about which party Lagosians vote for in 2015. He has less than three years left and if he is able to hold on to this Okada ban, Lagosians will eventually adjust to it and the next government either PDP, LP or whoever will not revert back to granting Okada access to Lagos roads so the earlier we all adjust to it the better

It was obvious that the setting up of the
Presidential task force was to buy time for the
government after the fuel subsidy removal protest
and for grandstanding. This government's
subterfuge is alarming, a government of committee.
Initially, the minister sat on the report for over a
month without public knowledge and later claimed
the report was just a "Mere Draft" after it was
leaked. Then the drama that played out on its
submission day and now an emboldened Okupe has
come to discredit the report as incomplete.

I guess those who advised Ribadu not to pick up the appointment are now vindicated. This government stinks!

This guy with Farook are meant to be in jail by now. Why is it now that he chose to approach the court? Okay, he got hint that the committee set up by the house to investigate him and Lawan will indict him. Woe betide those legislooters to absolve Lawan and the FG to cover up Otedollar.

This woman should not bore us with her lies. Wasn't
it during her time that brief case companies were
given licenses to import petroleum products thereby defrauding the country? How many NNPC, DPR and PPPRA staff have been sacked for conniving with thieving importers to perpetuate the subsidy scam? Didn't she allocate oil blocs to her cronies ie Seven Energy and co? Where is the signatory bonus from the three oil blocs she allocated? Are these what she calls transforming the sector.
A minister who doesn't know the quantity of
petroleum products consumed daily and her tenure
is witnessing an unimaginable crude oil theft should be sacked ASAP. GEJ will be doing himself more harm if he doesn't dispose off this woman from his Government except if the rumour of her dalliance with him is true

I strongly align with El Rufai on this. This Government is known for its diversionary tactics, it is not enough to say that certain people sponsored Dino when you can't name them. The Government is always looking for who to blame for their failure, if its not some cabal it will be opposition or northern agenda. Such an inept Government.

Politics › Re: Ribadu Report: C'ttee Did Not Verify Some Data; Diezaini 'draft' Statement Right by takedat(m):
taharqa: You completely dont get it. The committee was not set up to investigate d Ministry or any oda institution and individual for that matter if by 'investigate' you mean finding out corruption practices of these institutions and individuals. This is what those ppl trying to hijack dis for political gains hv done but d terms of reference of d committee was to suggest the best payment system bw the Nigerian state and oil companies, and then identity any outstanding payments due to d state that has not yet been paid by d oil companies- this is what the committee was set up to do. They discoverd that Nigeria has been practising very inefficient and opaque systems for decades that short-changd d nation and made recommendations on how to change d system (and as you hv previously said, we already knew about this which was why pressure was put on d President to quicken d presentd of d PIB bill to d NA since MOST of these recommendatns are already containd in d bill- he has already done so); the committee 2nd recommendatn was to ask d govt to set up a machinery to recover sm payments that they identified were due the state. It was in d course of these findings that they suggestd that sm persons may have corruptd demselves for decades cos of the opaque process without been specific since it was not in their perview (Surprise! Didnt we really know this?). Now, is it not curious that what some persons have been interestd in is the people who took advantage of d system to line up their pocket and i belief cos they believe they can get at the president when most of these people and ALL of d practices happend long b4 he became president. People have taken advantage of the system since d 1970s yes and as long as it is practicable at least some of them shld be brought to book (and dis is important), but why are sm of d ppl trying to politicize dis not also say anything about how we can make d system more transparent and actually try to SOLVE d problem (they original purpose of d committee in d 1st place)? Why are they not putting any pressure on d NA to pass d PIB bill since most of d recommendatns of d committee that wud turn-around d oil industry and mk it much less prone to inefficiency, waste and corruptn, are in d bill. What about d Solutions
Guy pls don't let us over flog this issue. This wouldn't have been a topic of discussion if not for the mild drama that played out on friday and the minister hoarding the findings of the committee for almost two months.
That the committee wasn't set out to go after persons is true but if during the course of investigation certain officials were found culpable and it therefore advised that such officials should be dealt with, will you say that the committee is over reaching on its mandate? This was what Orosanye disagreed with and why some are uncomfortable with the report.

That some of those anomalies Happened before and during his Government like the missing signature bonus from the three oil blocs does not stop him from prosecuting those responsible. If he truly wants to tackle corruption in that sector

The PIB is an Executive bill, FG should lobby for its expeditious passage or you want us all to head to the NA with placards.
