Celebrities › Re: “We Didn’t Abandon Mr Ibu” - AGN by Tendd:
Unfortunately, this issue of Nigerian celebrities dying untimely or falling very sick will continue.Money isn't always the case but living a healthy lifestyle. One thing l noticed about most is that they all look morbidly obese with portrudiing stomachs.l have observed similar trend among skit makers aswell, just that most are relatively young.Very rare to find any Nigerian celebrity with a disciplined and consistent fitness goal.Sadly, the youths will continue to copy such sedentary lifestyle.Any wonder why life expectancy in the country is at 55 years.
Health › Re: Chika Ofor Allegedly Poisoned To Death At Wake Keep In Umuahia (Video) by Tendd:
Any autopsy results to ascertain the cause of his death before you go accusing innocent people? Nigerians are typically known for superstitious beliefs.
Sports › Re: Why Can't Nigeria Do Well In Cricket And Rugby Like South Africa? by Tendd:
South Africans are generally more interested and involved in health and fitness activities than Nigerians.ln marathons and Half marathon across the world for example, one is likely to have more South Africans taking part in the events than Nigerians.Chicago, London, Berlin Marathons are a few examples.Nigerians living in these countries are in thousands, yet very few are in sporting activities.

Career › Re: UK Nigerian Man Reportedly Lost His Job After His Female Compatriot Report Him by Tendd: 4:22pm On Oct 17, 2023
A work place is not a place to sleep. You don't sleep at work hours. The so called "fellow Nigerian"is quite cautious of the work ethics at the work place and did what was required.l Hope many will learn from this incident.
Health › Re: Sleeping Too Much, Any Remedy? by Tendd: 10:40pm On Oct 13, 2023
Take a cup or two cups of coffee daily.Energy drinks like redbull, Nocco etc are also good. When you feel tired or sleepy,go out and take a walk and fresh air.You don't need medications for now.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Plans To Release Nnamdi Kanu After Imo Governorship Election by Tendd: 8:21pm On Oct 13, 2023
Grandma Victoria A..was gang-raped in her farm in Ondo state,Grand mothers were being raped in Iseyin LGA in Oyo state, endless ambush in Southern Kaduna, Bloodbath in Benue and thousands killed across the country but the regime was busy spending millions to go kidnap an individual in far away Kenya. What has been achieved so far after the kidnapping of Nnamdi Kanu?
I appeal to Tinubu to bring back Sunday lgboho.
He deserves a heroic welcome.
Health › Re: There's No Health Consciousness In Nigeria And That's Why Some Women Smell below by Tendd: 6:47pm On Oct 07, 2023
Choice of wears can also be an issue.l don't understand why women wear tight jeans and pants in the steaming hot weather that we have in the country.
Generally,we Nigerians both male and female usually don't go with seasonal wear.ln rainy seasons, people
have no rainboots, raincoats, umbrellas etc but prefer to go out on leather shoes and cotton cloths. Not surprised with the health hazards.

Celebrities › Re: “i'm Not Naira Marley O” - Nigerian Man Cries Out On The Social Media(pics, vid) by Tendd: 9:47pm On Oct 06, 2023
There was another video of guy that looked like Sam Larry. Now this too has come out disclaiming that he not Naira Marley. The irony is that both are from the SE.Southern Nigerians,Yorubas and lgbos, especially, must stop their hostility towards each other. You all are siblings and look very much alike.
Education › Re: UK Female Student Kicks Out Male Nigerian Flatmate For Asking If She's A Virgin by Tendd: 7:05pm On Sep 30, 2023
Before you relocate to the west, there are certain questions and remarks you must be try to shun from.
You don't compliment a person by telling them that they are enjoying because they are fat or chubby.Ladies especially are very emotional and sensitive, you don't talk or make remarks about sexual things to them when you are stranger. You can loose a job just by so.
Hope the brothers learned a lesson.

Sports › Berlin Marathon 2023!Eliud Kipchoge Claims Fifth Race Win. by Tendd(op): 8:21pm On Sep 24, 2023
What a spectacular performance from Eliud Kipchoge.
The 38-year-old Kenyan secured his fifth Berlin Marathon victory on Sunday (24 September) with Tigist Assefa of Ethiopia breaking the female world record. This win further cemented Kipchoge's status as the greatest marathoner of all time.

Worth mentioning is the little or no presence of Nigerians abroad in Marathons across the globe despite their huge population in many countries. Most long distance runners are regular folks who do it for fitness and wellness and not for any career goals.People from India, Brazil, Mexico, south Africa etc living abroad are often many in such running events whereas Nigerians living abroad are usually absent.Does that explain the low life expectancy amongst Nigerians abroad, high obesity and general poor health?

For example, only 8 Nigerians completed the Berlin Marathon 2023.
Only 24 Nigerians finished the London marathon this year, even with their massive population in the UK.It was still same shanty figures in Houston,New York Marathons.Canada might likely be similar.
Sports › Berlin Marathon 2023. by Tendd(op): 7:10pm On Sep 22, 2023
There will be Berlin Marathon tomorrow, the 24th of September 2023 and it's important to have some media coverage here on Nairaland.More than 45.000 people from different countries will be taking part and while some are career athletes ,majority of the participants will be just regularly folks. It will be interesting to know the number of Nigerians that will run and finish the race.
This year in the London marathon, only 24 Nigerians took part in the race out of the 48.000 participants. It was a relatively small number when one considers the population of Nigeria in the UK and to that of Brazilians, Indians, South Africans that came out in their numbers to run the race.Hopefully, the Nigerians abroad won't let us down.Fitness is wealth
Politics › Re: Pa Akintola Williams Dies At 104 by Tendd: 4:47pm On Sep 11, 2023
In a country with life expectancy at 55,he lived a very long life. This is very rare in Nigeria.May his gentle soul rest in peace.Meanwhile, it's not only by living longer but also by living well so one is capable of doing his/her daily chores without being aided from anyone.
Regular workout and fitness routine is the key.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do You Always Sleep In Church? by Tendd:
Constant repetitive verses makes anyone tired. The church must begin keeping some Sundays for physical activities.People should be told that workouts is the goal to soul cleansing, vitality and longevity.Running activities and competitions should be on the schedule.Life expectancy in Nigeria is at 55 years and obesity is on the rise.Even lean Nigerians are kind of skinny fat with protruded stomachs.

This coup might have been encouraged and supported by France to maintain and re-enforced the French stronghold in the country just like his father's era. . Ali was leaning towards America.American wife, half American son that might likely inherit the throne over the obviously sick Ali and possibly US policies. The french didn't find it funny. We watch as things unfolds.

Politics › Re: Worst Hit By The Current Situation in Nigeria? by Tendd: 4:26pm On Aug 15, 2023
Just walk and stop the unnecessary bills for transportation. Most able- bodied persons can walk more than 5 kilometres per day.Get yourself a proper rainboot and raincoat during rain or walking shoes with cushions during summer and just trek.
Nigerians will stop dying of heart related diseases because of the fuel hike, since many have now resorted to walking. The health benefit is enormous.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Army Generals VS Niger Army Generals. by Tendd: 7:54pm On Aug 11, 2023

Politics › Re: We Can't Use Rainy Season As Excuse Not To Rebuild Aba — Otti by Tendd: 10:02pm On Aug 05, 2023
One thing I find really absurd in Nigeria about rainy seasons is that many people often go out ill prepared without umbrellas, no rainboots, raincoats etc for the stormy weather. Many often go out with leather shoes and whine when the shoes get destroyed by rain.

Excellent! We need more of this.People can now begin to use the public transport only for work and back. The best of this is also that Nigerians can begin to learn to trek more or use their bicycles.Regular exercise is crucial for the people.Life expectancy in Nigeria is 52,so we must embrace this life changing experience.
