Na hunger go kill ham if him quit the job. Even some so called people in the USA dont earn $1k I tell you dont be deceived. There is no job out there!!!. He should grow up and understand  money is never enough. What should people earning basic salary do? I have an uncle that works local council and maybe earns 20k  with 3 kids they survive and they're not dead or dying of hunger! This guy is blessed and he doesn't even know. I earn a lot more but i tell you its the same principle; I keep the expenses low still and make room for investment with the excesses so the future can be better as time goes.

You can only quit if you find a new job that pays better and all that. But that doesn't guarantee you wont have more WANTS! I think everyone that did science should do some ECONOMICS crash courses. I did! Wants are endless. You can quit for a new job or a tested business. Else na HUNGER you will regret it.

You should learn saving at-least 30k monthly too from that salary. And that wife of yours need get a job. 15k for child upkeep? Do you mean thats the tuition? Isn't same money for food part of child upkeep? I dont know mine goes like

1. Kids tuition (cos my kids dont eat separately) or you mean you shop for cloths monthy? I shop for them mostly when I'm out of the country 2 to 3 times a year only.

2. Food (I've experimented with my woman even if I give her 50k and still buy things extra by myself like bag of rice, bag of this and that etc she still says the money is not enough. And if I reduce the money too she complains the same thing. And I sometimes go to the market myself somehow helps me update because she always tells me things are getting expensive daily I tire for woman oh! I even do better negotiation with market women than her,  she'll say they'll embarrass her if she prices too much. Well i dont give a bleed ,  i go to the next trader. I repeat if you decide to use 1million naira for food per month you can and if you choose to spend 30k the whole month you will. Do you remember how you where surviving when you had lesser paying job or no job at all? And how is your wife doing it when I pay 30k a month and family of 5 !!!! (excludes cooking gas and other things though, and learn to buy bulk take the car out drive to the market yourself with her at weekends). If you want to give your wife money for her own upkeep separate it and dont mix the two

3. Gas (I stopped putting generator on till morning plus the weather is cool now. So 12am i switch it off and go to bed. I have rechargable fans in each rooms too. I have an inverter that I've not hard time to install. And I have smaller 2.5kva gen ,  that ony takes N1,500 for two days even if i put on overnight.

4. Miscellaneous (badly enough my miscellaneous is more than all of the above lol -- selfish me those are the unaccounted money)

5. Excesses go to the investments (I dont save money in Nigeria to be honest I always have projects, business & construction stuffs. Nigerian banks are useless they're just like piggy banks and nothing more. You cant get anything from them. So I choose to utilize my money than to keep it with them and them trading with my funds

Bought my 1996 V6 VW Passat from Cotonou it was hell and like bad luck. By the time it was driven down to Lagos they already damaged the transmission. I waited for 2 weeks before it got to me in Lagos. I saw how they drove cars while returning to Lagos on my own. The "fayawo" boys as they used to call them drove very rough. And it was rainy. They even had to cut some other car's seat-belts  to to another car that got its ABS/brakes all locked down and wheels wont move. I dislike the VW because the car parts where and are still so expensive I sold to my friend but I always tell him to sell it since he'd replaced transmission more than twice ,  I did replace transmission too.

Well on my way back I saw cheap apples and frozen chicken/turkeys and liquor i bought some because i chattered a vehicle that took me to and fro with my friend and agent But then I started disliking buying apple/chicken and other imported frozen foods because i started thinking they sometimes spend months in Cotonou before being smuggled to Nigeria

Since then I've only used Lagos cleared , i.e brand new Kia and lastly an 08 Honda Civic

So no romantic place in Lagos ? Someone mentioned Obudu but Obudu got very bad reviews online. Any other place in Nigeria , I need a place to go

Mine occurred some 7 yrs ago. That was in my second year at the uni. A friend of mine lost his dad, so, we his close pals went to their crib a day b4 d burial to help him arrange some certain things. Midway through our activities, his elder bros brought three crates of beer for the seven of us. As the liquor dey go on, my hommie got some 10 raps of weed. Out of the seven of us, just three of us do take weed. My normal package is one full mole. As d groove dey go on, I mistakenly ended up taking three mole. O boy, weather started changing around 3pm for my eye o. I was unable to see anything, na human voices I dey hear. In order not to fall my hand, I told my peeps make I go relax small. I was so lucky that I ve been to crib many times, so to navigate to the frontage of the building was some how easy for me. When I lay down to sleep, it was another wahala coz the building was turning upside down and rotating at an average of about 50km per hour (for my yeye eye and mind then). Jeez, to the glory of God, I heard the voice of my friends sister, so I called her to ask for garri. She arranged the garri for me without even the necessary ingredients for drinking garri. I took more than half painter of garri alone. But it was as if I ve not taken anything. The most horrifying experience of it all was that one mind was telling me " O boy u don mad o", but being dat I do take the stuff before and know most stories concerning it (but I ve never been in such a situation b4), I was forcing myself within my mind that I'm not gonna go mad. I still can't  sleep coz d constant rotation of the building couldn't allow me to sleep. I asked God to spare me and I promised Him dat if ever venture into weed smoking again, let Him do with me whatever He will. L8 on, I slept off but when I woke up, it was as if I had a bath while I was sleeping coz I was totally wet with sweat. The first thing that came out of my mouth was thank U Jesus. It was more than traumatising. God sef na good person, can u imagine that some months past I started rapping up rizzler with saliva again. But I ve dropped it for good now. For real I can't forget dat day my life
