Never underestimate the importance of security updates. Anti-virus are updated almost every 12 hours, will you ever see any major change? In terms of System Upgrades, it suppose to be every 2 years but they need to respond to trending technology demands of their consumers based on their survey. So, releasing every year is understandable. But to say, no noticeable change in upgrading operating systems is far from being true. Battery and apps optimization, support for new apps, and security are always better in every OS upgrades.
The only updates I found useless are the apps updates from Google store. Most frequently used apps release updated like every week with no major useful changes and experience.

Igbere TV recall that the former INEC chair was arraigned in a Federal High Court in Lagos on August 8 on a four-count charge of concealment, fraud and money laundering of N1.2 billion which he denied.

He was granted bail of N1 billion with two sureties in like sum on August 9.

N3 billion bail for N1.2 billion fraud case, almost 3 times the amount alleged stolen or fraudulently gotten. I like this type of bail. I wish all Nigerian courts adopt this type of bail condition as I consider it the best for all accused/suspected fraudulent cases.

No do not stop him. Your kid is smarter and more intelligent than you think of him. He knows your hard and soft spot. You cannot compel a child to read when he is not interested in reading, I bet you, if your son is interested in passing any examination, at his will, he will read and pass EXCELLENTLY. Please do not force him to read.

Generally, a male child tends to be very lazy and TOO playful. Some wives can testify to their grown up husband's behavior in leaving clothes and other things carelessly and unattended to in the house. So, don't be panic. Call him and have discussion with him about his interest in life and what he intends to become. One of the educational theories is Taxonomy of education, you may need to read more at if. We have is simple term, three objectives of education, cognitive domain (knowledge based), psychomotor domain (skilled based) and affective domain (attitudes, value and interest). From your description, your son's strengths is most at psychomotor and least at cognitive. But it seems his aspect of affective domain (intestest) preferences differs from you and he is very poor at the attitudinal aspect, unfortunately no information about "the value".

For you to get him on the right track on the affective domain, you must show more affections (love) towards him, get him a school counsellor and sign him into the school's nurture group (if the school has any). Importantly, to get him to do more for himself, you must show him love, get closer to him and become his friend. You may discover him to first start to reluctantly do those things you want him to do. The more he trust and love you, the more he will develop a freewill habits not to let you down in doing what you expect him not to do. It will definitely takes years but trust me, you will be noticing reduction in those "not good for him" (bad) habits. For example, a smoker will not stop smoking at once, s/he will start by taking 9 sticks a day instead of 10, till it reduces to 1 and to none.

Now on the cognitive domain, that is, dislike for routine learning. I think his teachers need to adjust their teaching approaches to be more inclusive, learner centered, and allowing active students participations in each lessons. You may need to buy him educational gadgets that have pre-installed with relevant and related schools subjects. So that instead of reading text, he can play games, write on storyboards, relate with pictures/concrete objects, engage in projects related to the subject taught in school, etc. He should be more involved in the "doing" aspects of his school subjects/topics.

And to the psychomotor, never stop your child in the areas he has high interest in and has been excelling. You need to support and help him nurture those skills and talents to positively impact the society and his immediate family. Exposed him to likely challenges and negative attitudes change that his success may brought upon him. Guide and direct him to understand the importance of developing himself in other two domains.

Above all, there is learning disability know as Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). You might need to read more about learning difficulties and disabilities and in specific ADHD.

We met in school during my pre-degree and dated for 7 years before he proposed to me. Before the proposal, both our parents had been pestering us to get married and start having children.

We started trying 6months prior, and 6 months after proposing I got pregnant. Few months later we did our introduction and got married (registry) march this year.

About two years ago, he met a lady where he was supplying his goods. According to him, the lady has been doing everything in her power to push his business. Every time I suspect there was more to their friendship, he always assured me there was nothing, that she's just a friend. sometimes he would even travel with her to Abuja to sell his goods which I had to allow since it was helping his business.

8 months into my pregnancy I noticed a drastic change like coming home very late, he hardly eats at home, he barely talks to memos he's always on his phone. I knew something was wrong and every time I talk to him, he always assured me that everything was fine.

After the delivery and naming of my baby I expected things to go back to the way it was, but it became worse. he changes his phone password almost everyday and still hides his phones from me.

One day I cried and begged him to tell me what was going on, after hours of begging, the first question he asked me was "where was it written in the bible that marriage has to be between one man and one woman and not with different women", "why can't a man marry two or more wives if he has the resources to take care of them equally"(the lady is a muslim btw).

He confessed that he has been dating this lady for over two years and has no plan of leaving her, and theres a possibility he's going to marry her. I'm just 26yo with a one month old baby, I didn't sign up for this.

While growing up, my mum has always warned us against polygamy. although he's promised to be there for me and still wants our marriage to continue, but the thought of my husband being with someone else is killing me. I've tried to reason with him several times but I end up hurting even more. I've been praying but still no change. He's been trying to compensate with gifts and money but thats not what I want. he doesn't want me to tell anyone and I feel reporting him to his family will even worsen the case. We've always settled our issues ourselves without involving anyone. I've tried everything I can just to take my mind off it. I need someone to talk to, prolly a friend or a counsellor. I've been crying for days now, I've not been eating well and I have to breastfeed my child. I never knew my life would be this complicated. I don't know why he got married to me if he already had this in mind. I hate my life right now.

Allow him and support him at least for now. Your husband seems to be responsible, he feels obliged to marry the lady in maybe because of the favour she has done for him and some past history the lady has disclosed to him. There is no genuine love on the part of your husband. Let me tell, there is no reason to leave a marriage that is not violent and no emotional blackmail.

The only solution here is if the lady decides not to marry him. Marriage was done because you become pregnant, there is high possibility that he has chosen the lady over you long before the marriage. The same reason he went ahead to marry you is the same reason he feels he MUST marry the lady.

The only solution is to come in terms with the reality or fight the battle spiritual by praying for God to take control of the Lady's heart and mind to lost interest in marrying your husband and declared same to him. Remember, happiness and joy are free, you need them to enjoy your life. Seriously, polygamous marriage is not bad in itself but it depends on all parties involved to be understanding and the husband to be fair to all.

I believe you husband can be fair enough to both of you and God has a way to compensate wives that their husband is not fair to them. For example, Jacob's wives, God closed Rachael's (I think I am right with the name) womb to forced Jacob to love Leah. The lineage of Judah, David, Jesus came from Leah also.

Broken homes have never helped the society, except for violence, abuse and emotional blackmail, in extreme, being separated is better than divorced.

A Federal High Court in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, has fixed August 8, 2019, to look into a request by the Federal Government for an ex-parte order to keep convener of RevolutionNow movement, Omoyele Sowore, for at least 90 days.

The human rights crusader was picked up in a Lagos hotel in the early hours of Saturday by operatives of the Department of State Services and has been kept in custody ever since despite growing calls for his immediate release.

The President Muhammadu Buhari administration had accused Sowore of committing a treasonable act for calling on Nigerians to pour out on the streets on August 5, 2019 to protest against his government’s failure to improve the living conditions of Nigerians.

Many of the protesters, who took to the streets in major cities across the country were met with harassment and arrest from security operatives.

In its application on Tuesday, the FG through the DSS in the ex parte application marked FHC/ABJ/CS/ 915/19, is seeking to detain Sowore beyond 48 hours as required by law.

However, after listening to the motion which was moved by counsel for the DSS, G. O. Abadua, Justice Taiwo Taiwo said he needed time to watch the video clips attached to the motion.

He, accordingly adjourned ruling to Thursday, August 8

You may be wrong. Firstly the revolution called by Tinubu is through constitutional means that is voting out the PDP led government. This is different from Sowore revolution call, which is overthrowing the Government of the day. I am sure Falana only read their demands but have not listened to some interviews with Sowore and videos released by him. The main agenda of Sowore protest is to sent Buhari government packing, the question now is how and by what means? In one of the Sowore videos, he said "... what they don't know is by August 6, there will be no DSS". Possibly, that may be what led to his arrest as he was arrested early morning of the day after that very video went viral online.

Secondly, PDP also call for same revolution in build up to 2019 elections and theirs was also through voting out APC and restructuring Nigeria political system and resources administration/control. Apart from Atiku, has PDP released any statement on Sowore arrest because I am not aware of any?

All I see from the post is that she wants to live the same single life as a married person. She did not said the man is violent (maybe towards the end though because I only read her post halfway) but the man do not agreed to "how she view life".

Marriage is all about compromise and sacrifices. The life we live as single is different from the life of being married. Some joke say, until you get married, you will not realise that you do not have control over your remote controls.

She made a bad decision, that she does not see her father negative behaviour towards her mother did not validate that her father is better than her ex husband. She should asked her mother the sacrifices and compromise she had made. Moreso, her ex husband is not and can never be like her father. Comparison to her father and imagined pampered life is another bad course in marriage.

LSPWC is own by state government and the function/performance depends on the current administration political will to make them perform. So their performance or otherwise in past 4 years was dependent on the Governor in control in the said years.

Did you check the date the copy of his grade (not certificate) was issued? I think the man was forced to seek for all evidence as statement of results and broadsheet for the exam issued by his school, attestation issued by WAEC were being discredited.
I just hope he has defense for the variation in the name, hopefully his passport as affixed to his statement of result and attestation can helped him out.

I just updated the post you quoted. Please stay in the new job if you want to grow. Though it is unfortunate that the more experienced guy will be leaving soon, get as much as you can get from him before he leaves. Believe me, experience is more solidified when gotten independently, it is better to learn driving with another person's car than with your own new car. You will surely be more independent, entrepreneur and innovative while working independently than wanting for instruction from a superior.

Please, just make sure you have figured out how you are going to survive without engaging in any unethical behaviour.

Oga resign, and continue your previous job while searching for better job. Your experience with your previous job will help you in your future job search.

Anyway, the solar business is just like a car dealer. The profits in one contract should be able to hold you before the next. Again, you can find side jobs with it. The new job will frustrate you the more in terms of finance but may be better in terms of experience.

If you must continue with your new job, be very must sure it will exposes you more to the technicality and experience in solar design and business strategies. You should also be sure you have reliable sources that will support your cost of living for next six months, then you can resign. The benefits of companies that gives you wide experience in terms of business strategies and technical information on your line of business is far better than high paying jobs. But the caution is they don't stay too long and never complain of too much workloads.

So decides wisely.

1. Did the company perform the contract according to the terms in contract agreement?
2. Did the project cost correspond to the quality of work done?
3. Was the company a registered company and when did the company start operations.

I think you got it wrong. They are just "rubber stamping" the party manifesto on which they campaign, wọn and must deliver.

Because tribunal is not a court of competent jurisdiction. If an appeal court nullifies the election of a governor, the governor will vacate the govt house until reinstated by the supreme court. That is the rule of law. Like rivers, omeha won in appeal court but supreme court removed him. In osun adeleke won tribunal, but lost in appeal and supreme court. Tribunals don't have the power to pass a guilty verdict they recommend a course of action for the higher courts.

The affidavit suggests he completed his secondary education in 1968 but the WAEC results are from 1973.

It's either he combined this shown result with another,or this isn't the complete roll of WAEC results he obtained.

He completed his Primary School (FLSC) in 1968. The main thing here is the WAEC result shows 1973 while he completed his Degree in 1980.

In those days there are no such thing as strike and I am very sure the course is 4 years, hence he spent 3 years after his secondary school before gaining admission. Your second paragraph is more logical as conclusion, he might have sit for another examination within those 3 years. He may have combined or use entire different results for his admission.

What many failed to note is that when presenting documents for political appointments, is more advisable to present the WAEC certificate issued by your Secondary School than presenting any other certificates. Reasons why Senator Adeleke presented his even when the results is nothing to write home about. Above all, the University as at that time has certified his certificate/results and confirms that he has satisfied ALL REQUIREMENTS to be awarded First Degree Certificate.

His appointed as CJN was not occasioned by the Executive (Buhari) but by the Judiciary that has promoted him to such rank that made him the next qualified CJN.
