After reading all comments, my 2 cents advice is start with orthodox medicine, if there is no improvement you can then consider the traditional bone setters! But let me share an experience that i witnessed when i was much younger, my father's friend was shot with all those locally made gun, and so is body was riddled with pellets, He was then admitted to Lagoon hospital for treatment, and surgery was to be performed, my father arranged for someone to come from the village to have a look in, through certain forms of incantation and whatever the man opted to be discharged from the hospital, it caused a lot of issues with Lagoon Management. My father's friend is still alive hale and hearty! I also know from what i witnessed first hand my brother had a broom stick stuck in his toes, all attempt to physically try to get to the broom stick failed as it was buried underneath the skin, my mother went out and looked for a particular tree and plucked the leaves, brought it back and squeezed it on the surface of my brother's skin, some minutes later the broken stick broom that was initially embedded under the skin was within reach and was removed without stress. She told me the knowledge was acquired when she lived in Ghana. Wish there could be more collaboration between traditional medicine practitioners and our modern doctors. |
PUSIDRILA:You made a valuable contribution, but there was no need for the insult! Ok i understand it is the heat as there is no light to power your generator, sms your address, i might konga you a litre of petrol ![]() |
Bill keep on giving while Dangote is scheming to overtake you as the richest man in the world? |
Lord Jesus let your kingdom come now! |
Lord forgive us our sins! it is time for our traditional institutions to start speaking up when crime of such nature occur! |
Waiting to see the Ooni's agenda for the transformation of Nigeria... i am tired of his Junketing... there are more productive ways to use tax payers money! A meeting with Bill Gates in Nigeria on Bill and Melinda Gates foundation on Polio eradication in Africa would be a great start! |

This Uk Police Officers are so gentle.... compare how the former world number 4 tennis player in the world James Blake was manhandled by a police officer in the US. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/XdUgW7ygX2o" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdUgW7ygX2o |
Saudi Arabia borrowing can be termed strategic, just like America that has over 3 months supply of crude oil yet they keep on increasing there storage capacity, while Nigeria can not boast of even 1 week storage. The problem is that Nigerian borrowing is from desperation due to the dwindling foreign exchange... Beyond that most oil resource nation suffer from resource curse syndrome.. low or zero industrialization bases, lack of creativity from the leadership to the masses, poor policy formulation and implementation etc... |
Orikinla:Simple Solution.. but i do not think the visionary leader who will dare implement such a policy is yet to be born. Which of our leaders and even the mass followers do not visit such places? Other developed nations do not have spiritualists, or native doctors, yet we see their progress. No light, no water, chaotic transportation system.... #say no to Herbalist... NAFDAC must start doing clinical testing on all the so called concoction for trace of human parts... All shrines where blood is spilled must be tested for human blood.... #notoshrines It is time Nigeria break from this bondage! It is time for our Prosperity & Miracle working Pastors to stop visiting native doctors. All our politician stop visiting all these so called Alfas or native doctors! The Devil never gives anything for FREE! We need to make progress as a nation. |
Resign,... i thought the average Nigerian will never resign a job. |
While i am not totally against the trip, but the truth is that every Nation will only implement policy that will be to her benefit. If stabilizing oil price is to the benefit of Saudi Arabia, surely Saudi Arabia government will implement such a policy and if not no matter how much pleading Nigeria does it will not implement such a policy. |
LionInZion:thanks for your post |
Nicepoker:Yes i have, my former boss called me names i dare not type out, did not report her to HR because i know i live in a crappy society! In hindsight wish i had quit the job, but my responsibilities to my siblings was the only reason to persevere on the job. I have a strong feeling that i would be leaving my well paid job very soon. |
erico2k2:If you tell the banks to buy at n300 then at the parallel market it will move from N400 to maybe N700. You can't beat the cheating bankers a their game! |
Ooni keep on wasting tax payers money... Please hope you will spare time to visit some Charity organization for the less privileged! |
The man must be mentally disturb... but how can a mentally disturb person visit an herbalist to request for money making rituals? Perhaps the herbalist cast a spell on him, because it is the herbalist that actually needs the head for his own devilish purposes. Can Africa survive without these so called herbalist? If the man is so evil what of the herbalist that would willingly accept the head of a little child for whatever favour he wants to obtain from the gods! The quantum of evil that is happening these days is so alarming, we get to hear much more of these in the south west because of the level of telecommunication penetration, but compared to the North you would be alarmed at the rate of ritual killings going on. How does a country progress with the shedding of the blood of the innocent! No wonder things hardly work in the country. RIP little one. |
When will TY Bello photo shoot this lady to stardom! |

onatisi:Life should be lived on certain principle. if I as a General lead millions of my people to an avoidable death, i can not just wake up and decide to run away from the chaos i created.... let us be frank Ojukwu had 3 options... die in the battlefield, wait to be arrested or take the Hitler option! |
d banj selling phones is koko garri no longer profitable? |
Massive enlightenment campaign, drop millions of flyers all over the areas of the north east, print out in hausa and arabic languages,,, communicate via pictures, images about the dangers of bombing, write out the necessary verses in koran that is against killing of innocent life. phone numbers to call on flyers etc... this is the way to checkmate the activities of boko haram. |
@op... thank you for the misinformation, the marathon start time was 7:00a.m. I arrived late to the venue! |

Are we trying to reinvent the wheels... the organizers should have gotten feed-backs from other marathon organizers on how to overcome people cheating... i took part in the race, we were all given a so called transponder attached to our race number... i now suspect the transponder was just pure marketing gimmick. I got to start of the marathon quite late as i was held up in traffic... How could they manage traffic that would prevent participants going to the marathon venue from having easy access, beats my imagination. My only regret was that upon finishing 41km, a lot of runners were refused access into Eko Atlantic because we had exceed the race closure time of 2:00P.M, After giving so much effort we should not have been denied the opportunity of getting to the finish line. The security personnel kept on shouting this is private property, private property, private... who send u message, why are you running when you are not from Kenya etc. etc. etc., no words of support or encouragement for all our efforts. I was not finding this funny, you mean an effort of 41km should just be dismissed like that. What the organizers failed to realize is that if you are using international cut off time one must consider the poor state of transportation, the likelihood of some people being held up in traffic due to poor traffic management. All plea to the security men to open the gate and allow us to get to the finish line were rebuffed. I feel most disappointed in the organizers, i think they were not ready to organize this event. In Nigeria when you do the wrong thing you are rewarded, when you do the right thing you are punished! Runners who refused to start the race from the starting point are owner of the Lagos city marathon medals, while those of us while arriving at the venue late, but went to the starting line were not even allowed to complete the race even though only 1 km was left to finish line. |
AVRecruit:Don't you consider it a shameful thing that a city as big as Lagos does not have a single marathon. If you know how much foreign exchange can be realized from a well organized marathon you will know it is not self serving. Beyond even the monetary benefit, it is a message for all and sundry to leave an active life in simple word keep your body and mind fit. Ambode is looking into the avenue of sport tourism... i am sure Gov Ambode's vision is to make Lagos the premier destination for sport tourism ahead of South Africa. Wont surprise me if we have a classic cycling event to follow the Lagos Marathon aka Tour de Lagos, why not. We have great local talent that are ready to shock even the Kenya and other elite international marathoners. Kudos to Gov. Ambode and His Team, and the Management of Access Bank. |
Ooni why all these visits? |
First i quickly had to scroll down as i could, not bring my self to look at the pictures. Those old enough might remember the case of the lady whose eyes were plucked out in a school in Lagos, by one of those called Northern Alfas when her neighbor misled her that there was a job vacancy in a school, this happened in Lagos. It is so sad that till date such evil still reoccurs, what are the leaders in the North doing about this nothing? Why your guess is as good as mine! The person who requires the eye of the boys might likely need it to increase his power of divination, and people will troop to all these so called alfas, pastors and babas looking for solution to their problem sadly obliviously of the ways and means by which the alfas or babas are able to accomplish this. They receive whatever they want from the Devil, surely we all know the devil never gives anything free of charge. Nigerians both Christian, Muslims and others once you get down on your knees and pray to Almighty God stop getting desperate by going to all these so called Babas since you can not be sure if their spiritual powers are obtained via human sacrifice. Why the perpetrators of this dastardly act did not kill the boy, i suspect is part of the process of ensuring the efficacy of the ritual. The boy most likely was destined for greatness, and obviously the devil quickly ensured his good destiny may likely not be realized for Nigeria. i sincerely wish our traditional institutions will speak out vigorously against such crimes.... but their silence is even more worrisome. Young boy nothing i say can bring back your sight... but may all those involved directly or indirectly be exposed in Jesus name! Nigeria has failed you, inclusive of all our so called leaders!!! |
otiigba1:Moses dropped his rod and it turned to snake, the magician using the power from the devil did same.. God can make rich so can the devil... the difference is that God's riches adds no sorrow... what ever the devil gives he will surely come back to collect. Most affluent or big men are involved directly or indirectly, the indirect means is that he pays a BABA off for a solution without caring the ways and method the BABA intends to obtain the solution! How evil works may surprise you and even the majority of us shouting loudest.... May God Almighty forgive us our sins and deliver us from this curse. |
aluko360:What do you really know of Dangote? |
