While I get what you are trying to get at, it is not working because YES, many languages, especially those with close geographical proximity to one another, share similar etymologies.

And going by your argument, it might actually be some part of the Igbo tribe that is Ikwerre and not vice versa.

The President has sweeping powers under National Security, but those powers are not absolute. The President must use such powers in line with the rule of Law, Public Welfare and Security.

The way and manner the DSS and government is going about things may only serve to further undermine peace and security in the Nation.

One of the reasons I think #SARS went out of hand in Nigeria is because a lot of Nigerians really believe in Jungle Justice. We feel, if the person really stole, nothing wrong with throwing a tire around their neck and burning them alive.

And so we stood by as #SARS tortured and killed people we had already assumed guilty and underserving of any opportunity to prove themselves innocent.

#SARS did not start extra judicial killing in Nigeria, Nigerian people did, with our wide spread penchant for jungle justice.

The blood of many innocents are on many ignorant hands.

If there is anyone that has displayed a lack of understanding of the electoral college system here it is you

1. You seem to think the electoral college is the only basis for determining who wins.

2. You seem not to know that even if it was based only on electoral college votes -Joe Biden won more than 50% of those.

Therefore, If YOU don't understand the electoral college system just say so ..

Speak to a professional counsellor and therapists pleeasse. Thank you.
Dominiondominio:
I’m a 26 years old woman married to a 37 years old man. We have been married for almost 3 years.

We don’t have kids yet and 6 months ago I ended up in hospital with sepsis. The doctors originally thought it was caused by a kidney infection but later found that it was caused by Pelvic Inflammatory disease.

They repeatedly asked about my sexual history but I have only slept with one person in the past 3 years - my husband. I ended up having to have emergency surgery as the infection would not respond to the IV antibiotics they were giving me. I was in hospital for 10 days and have potential long- term damage which will affect my ability to have children.

I recently found out that my husband has cheated on me a number of times throughout our marriage and that the Pelvic inflammation was caused by untreated Gonorrhoea.

When I was discharged from hospital, he admitted that he has been cheating on me with a single mother of 4 (unprotected sex ) And he got the gonorrhea! How irresponsible! I am completely devastated and don't want to believe that the love of my life could be so callous. I very nearly died and if it were not for the brilliant doctors who quickly recognised my symptoms.

Of course the woman my husband got the gonorrhea from denied everything and I bet she won’t go get treated and will continue to spread this nasty and dangerous disease! She is done with having kids so why would she care, right?

Well, I do want to have kids and I won’t let my fertility and health taken away! the emotional damage caused by the infidelity itself is horrible. I feel angry, dirty, and ugly. All I want to do is cry all day. I can’t talk to anyone about it because I feel so ashamed. The person I trust the most is my mother but i don't want to break her heart. I know that to her my happiness matters the most and I think she would be angry at me the rest of her life if I told her that I still love my husband.

My husband feels remorseful and said he would never cheat on me again. He said he would choose me over any lifestyle and that he would give up everything for me. I have a very hard time trusting him again and I still don't know what I want from this whole thing. I just can't understand why my husband would have sex with a disgusting, nasty woman and betray me on so many levels. My pride got hurt so badly. I feel so ugly and worthless. My libido is absolutely gone. I feel empty inside. Then all the sudden I feel horrible, horrible anger and I want to break everything in sight. On some nights I can't sleep and sometimes I want to sleep all day. Most days I'm not even hungry and I have to force myself to eat something.

I feel like I will never be happy again. I used to be a happy, confident, bubbly person, now my zest for life is gone. Is this normal? Will these feelings ever go away?
Family › Re: My Husband Gave Me An STD That Nearly Killed Me by TheGift: 4:04am On Feb 09, 2020
The reason you feel worthless is because you have a sense of your selfworth. There is nothing to beat yourself about. You did nothing wrong but trust. The most important thing right now is the healing of your body, mind and emotions. It begins with expressing how you feel as you have done. I pray you find healing and that your relationship will be healed as well. This is all I can say for now. God bless you.

The quoted below is very good advise. Don't force anything. Understand she is am individual and give her time to breathe. Focus on your work and what you know is your purpose, with or without her,and on being the best version of you that you can, the universe will always align, at an appropriate time.

Tonyfx:
To be honest with you, you are the one at fault from your write up and the screenshots.
First marriage nor be house when you go rush enter because you don dey build an for 5years, if you rush enter marriage you go rush commot from am.
Secondly marriage is a lifetime journey and so it requires alot of patience and understanding between both parties. Your wife told you she wasn't mentally ready but you didn't want to see things from her point of view. Nor be so Bros (it takes two to tangle).
As for the decision part remember say na your life partner even as Dangote get money reach he cannot make any decisions about his own company without the agreement of his partners which are his board of directors. See things from her point of view and let her see from yours then both of you should come to a peaceful conclusion. The marriage too early for quarrel na.
As for divorce I won't support that instead why not give her time to adjust and be in the right frame of mind. Things will definitely workout because she isn't asking for a divorce.
Give her time and try to be supportive of her. I hope you will find something useful here.

Like your brother said "free Her", if you have any iota of respect for yourself cos She doesn't respect you and you may be opening your self up to more disrespect.

My advice: , go to a corner of your room think of how much and all the things you are going to miss about Her. Feel the pain, and if possible cry ( but no more than 15 minutes) Then move on with Your life, especially as She is not your Wife.

There is more loving and learning on the way to true matured love, so yoy better get cracking.

All the best.

soobaba:
Hi guys,
So I'll be very direct and summarize this as possible. But please bear with me if I get carried away...

I've been been dating my girlfriend for a year now and we are very serious and I'm even considering proposing to her, but we are not based in the same town.

So I called her with another number last night, she couldn't recognize my voice cause I sounded different, so I decided to play around cause we gist and make fun of each other a lot. So I acted like I was someone who got her number and is trying to toast her.

She asked who was speaking and I said Victor, that I got her number when I saw her in the bank, we were on the same queue, so I copied her number from her teller, she laughed and all, so after all the lines I poured out, she was just laughing and flowing along, so I asked if we could see that night, but she said it was late but I had to persuade her, so she agreed that I instead come to her place to see her. "This is someone she hasn't met before and she agreed for him to come see her at her place, in the night for that matter".

So I asked for her address and she gave out her real address, asked if she has a boyfriend and she said yes but we ain't in the same town.
I got upset and had to open up and ask why she's cheating on her guy? At this point she was mute and ended the call. I called back but she didn't answer anymore.

So I just dropped a message on WhatsApp that I was disappointed.

Her reply was devastating: she wrote;
"keep your disappointment in your pocket.
Don't even get me more angry.
Just do yourself a favor by not ever mentioning me in your mouth again.
Remove everything that has to do with me in your phone and life.
Rubbish.
No be only disappointment.
Grow up.
Comot for my front make I see road jor..."

I haven't replied her yet, don't even know what to say to her right now, thought about calling her but my brother told me not to, that I should just free her. Please guys what should I do?

Moderator please help me move this to front page...

I have had friends complain that i don't tell them how much i earn even if they tell me theirs.

I personally think salary should be private, what's your opinion on this?
I think it should be respected as private especially as the same amount of Money tends to have different values in different hands.

E.g. You may think my salary is BIG but it is nothing compared to my financial comittments /proposed investments or you may think my salary is small but my Employer covers the major things one spends their BIG-er salary on e.g. Housing, Education, Health (Insurance)
