beerfraud:Omokori is just a rabble rouser |
labtos:Why allow what you read determine your future? Why not let what you are passionate about, what you care for, what you really love doing, determine the choice of your masters? Must you do Masters to become a Master? |
Sheggy13:Ok. I must have missed that latter part. |
Antoeni:You are commending lawless behaviour from an Institution that is meant to be the exemplar of discipline? Continue. |
Where is the threat in the billboard? You guys are still playing with frustrated Nigerians , you never see threat yet. |
This is an attack on freedom speech. Can't we hold the judiciary accountable any longer? Is it a lie that all eyes are on the Judiciary? This government is getting sadder by the day. |
Obiedun:That is all you have to say to this judgement? It is clear you don't want justice. |
turmacs:So Education in Nigeria is "nonsense" and this is the nonsensical solution you have to offer? If we were in a country like China and I was President, I will make sure you are tracked and locked up for years with hard labour. |
Find a way to calm Him down. And give Him room to talk without judgement. HE may not be saying it the way you like, but He is trying to say something, and you really need to hear Him out, otherwise, you people are just playing marriage, but not really married. In my case, I was very lucky with my Wife, the demands were not unreasonable for bride price and other things, but some family member wanted to use their position to make things more difficult for us beyond what we had discussed, it was my Wife that put that person in their place, so much so we made the person totally irrelevant to our wedding and marriage. And i never had to deal with any of their stress. If you really want to be married to someone, you should also work with Him to manage any pressure from your family (just like you did with the 50k). Especially because whatever he spends or saves, is money that can contribute to getting you guys started. That is not to say your Dad was wrong or that you were wrong, just that you guys were not really communicating about how you were dealing with the pressures. You need to find a way to get Him talking. Try going to hold him in a way or in a place that will arouse Him, maybe he will calm down enough for you guys to talk, focus on understanding Him and on letting Him know that you do. He will eventually understand you too. Then we can all move on. I wish you the very best. |
Microwhy:"Tinubu will no doubt deal with some assholes"- thank God you know what to expect, Victimisation and intimidation. How do you know it is third position, when key aspects of the election are in contention at the tribunal? What if third position was INECs fake and incompetent position. Even 2nd position is challenging the first position. And its not as if "first position" won by any significant gap, if we take away rivers which was apparently rigged by Wike and give to Obi who is alleged to have won there, they would all have 12 points each, have you thought about that? Leave this third position talk, until we determine wether INEC even knew w hat it was doing when it was determining positions. Until then, the elections results collation and announcement were an embarassment to elections in the 21st century, as confirmed by the EU. That is the mandate on which the BAT stands. |
plaindealer:Going by my own random surveys, 66.6% of Nigerians don't see the country moving forward under Tinubu. CMC should try again. With more objectivity this time. |
shogotermies:First of all, how do you know it was on a Sunday that God rested? Secondly where did God command that Christians should rest on Sunday? The closest thing to such a command was given to the Jews, and it was for them to Obey the sabbath. And the Sabbath was on Saturday not on Sunday. Early christians were still observing the Sabbath on Saturday, until the Roman emperor, Constantine and the Catholic Church made Sunday the day of Worship at the Council of Nicea. Note , Christianity in Rome under constantine was tolerant of and mixed with some pagan practices. But believers are not bound by the Law to worship on any specific days, because wherever (whether in a church building or in your kitchen) two or three are gathered (And whenever they are gathered, not only on Sundays) He is there in their midst. Believers gathering to fellowship on any day of the week is not any different from coming together on Sunday, as long as our worship is sincere. We are no longer under the Law but under grace. Don't judge people who go to work on Sundays especially when you dont know their worship life at other times of the day or week. |
Fifthaout:In your case, It certainly takes one to know one. |
gaby:Same here. Like i told someone, I want to be able to speak freely and live freely, so i don't want no Godfather, and I don't want no contract from any politician, if you have contract that you have collected from a politician, and there is a professional role I can play and value I can add, I will do it, just pay me my money, I am not interested in any deals, any kick backs any over inflation of contracts. Just like my Father, and His Father before Him, My name and that of my Family, will never be associated with such things by the special grace of God. Amen. Keep your ministerial or other political appointment, I am not interested, And I will never apologize for speaking the truth. Never!!!!! |
VAPatrick:Cool Stuff It would be good if the phrase "Virtual Assistant" was in the title, to improve engagement. Not everyone is farmiliar with the acronym VA, for now. Best wish. |
HanisahZuwy:I am sorry to say but this is either the most naive, most foolish or most self deceiving answer you can give My first advice is for you to get off social media and go to a hospital to see a doctor, even if you dont have one naira in your pocket. Go determined to see a professional, physically. Because it is not via nairaland and whatsapp He or She will examine you. In case you don't know, diagnosis and prognosis, comes before prescription, but you have been ignoring all the questions to what caused the problem. IF/When you go to the physical hospital and see the physical doctor, and the Doctor asks you, what tore your anus (even though He would be able to make an educated guess), If you like tell the doctor, that you wouldnt want to say why it got torn until he gives you a solution, then I will conclude that you are really foolish. Until then, lets just say you are being naive. |
FreeStuffsNG:Your questions are funny Is he being charged because he is a pastor or for unlawful possession of arms? Were Asari and His private army in lawful possession of arms? Did the poster say the Pastor should be excused because of Asari? These are the questions you should have asked yourself before responding to that comment., |
IconicR:Saddest comment I have seen on Nairaland today. |
chineduace:All of these so called innovative companies just keep copying each other. |
I have a friend who is in the paramilitary. He is always referring to god fathers, "one of My god fathers", "one of my colleagues god fathers". Now I understand. It's messed up. |
When I hear some kind of questions, I want to weep. I don't have any answers for you, just questions? Does the tourist Visa come with a five year work permit? Will you he be able to do any legal job that earns him more than money to survive? What happens after 5 years? If he has to come back to Nigeria, will he rent. House near the house he sold or somewhere else? Has he read the parable about killing the goose that lays the golden egg? |
OndoRaph:So STOP Eating Spaghetti!!! Meanwhile I just had some delicious spaghetti. Lol |
Odewaleadesoye:1. Yar Adua - the President that was sincere about he system that brought him to power, calmed down the Niger- Delta and championed due process. 2. Obafemi Awolowo- the President that never was 3. OBJ Everyone else na manage we manage them. I am waiting for the tribunal to conclude before I even consider rating the BAT as one of them, but His rating is not looking good. |
Curse777:And who is the chairman/ head of Ecowas again? Or is he just a figure head? Remember how Kofi Anan got a lot of criticism for UNs handling of the Rwanda genocide? That's how it works. |
dre11:And how many buildings and blocks of flats does He own? |
Lutherblaq:I bathe with my Wife sometimes, I won't have issues bathing Her if she is incapacitated. I would be a most wicked husband and father to be, if I do not help the woman carrying my child with chores. Stress can impact the child even to the point of miscarriage As per washing and ironing clothes , we have a washing machine and a help that handles that normally. |
Ikaeniyan0:The time you used typing this question was enough for you to read the story and make your question unnecessary |
politicoNG:This is a very dicey situation. Assuming we don't already have Nigeriens in the Nigerian army. |
I would say carpentry plumbing and welding would be your best bet , but I don't think you can develop to even semi-skilled level in less than 18 months. |
Japa: such a cowardly sounding word. |
Darren95:An opinion is not a fact. Go and consult your dictionary! |
Meerahbel:It's a visa not a green card. Abi do you want to run away? Personally I don't see any reason to Japa if I have a decent salary and I can put some Aside for investments and business. I will rather go on vacation annually. |
