Sinful' United shirts encourage devil worship, warn Muslim clerics


Muslim Manchester Unitedfans have been told they must not wear team shirts that bear the club crest because it glorifies the devil.

The warning has come from Malaysian clerics who have declared the club shirts un-Islamic - along with those of Brazil, Portugal, Barcelona, Serbia and Norway, all of which carry images of the cross on their team emblems.

The Red Devils have a huge following in the far east and shirt sales are huge but this has not impressed the conservative religious scholars who want them banned.
