 Each member of the PFA nominates two players every Spring.  .  .that should be September in the UK (if that crappy climate allows them Spring ). Then the shortlist is made in April. Not sure when the nominations get closed though.

Going by this, when the nominations were going on, United were rocking it, and they did bounce Liverpool from the top spot. Chelsea - wobbling along. I agree, this thing should be based on the entire season, but.  .  .season's almost over.

 The nominations took place before United's current dip in form.  .  .when the nominations were on United were on top, in great shape and thrashing every team in sight. And VDS was breaking goalie records.

Although i support neither team i was happy Liverpool got hammered yesterday. The hype about Benitez been a europe CL specialist is all over. Liverpool were humilated , disgraced and shattered. They couldnt have an answer to Hiddinks methodology of attack , attack and attack!!! It was these same reds that cheated us out of the CL last year.

Lets now talk about Chelsea vs Barcelona as the 2nd leg of their 2 Q/F is as good as useless.

we can go ahead and make this topic hit its 100th page, but it wudn't change the actual score of the match. predictions doesnt hold water when it comes to d tactical approach a team gives to win a game.Liverpool may be in the scoring form of their lives, and chelsea may have not scored more than three goals since Gius came to the Bridge,but have we ever pondered that everytime Liverpool were knocked out of the champions league, they played their 1st game at home,and go ahead and be thrown out of UCL for insufficient goals scored. This is history.any team who hopes to proceed must also pray to have her first match on an away soil.i sure professionals know what i'm talking about
