The pressure from family and friends will be unreal. It always happens. It’s doing you now because you’re young, everybody lives their life to learn the hard way. Go and look at toks2008 or whatever his name is, he’s a perfect example. Just pray that you’ll find a good wife.

Well it's better to have a husband who loves his wife, takes good care of her and their kids. Even if he marries a second wife, as long as his care for his first wife does not stop, I don't see anything wrong if he wants a second wife. The two wives will cooperate and be calm.

But a husband, who does not take care of his wife but hide to sleep with mistresses outside, spends on lovers outside but doesn't drop a dime for his family at home, always claiming hes broke or not been paid salary is a very wicked and evil man.
Last last his only wife will leave him, especially if she sees a better offer outside.


Example : Owner of Elizade motors, he has more than one wife. We've not heard any slander or fights amongst his wives.. Why? Because he takes care of all his women. Everyone is content, so why fight?

No ma. I'm not fan of Segun Ogungbe or polygamy but I don't think this makes him an hypocrite. Maybe he is sha but there is a longer list of hypocrites. See some:

The original hypocrites are the oyinbo that twisted Christianity to say "one man, one wife" for everybody and still go ahead to have one wife and a couple of mistresses.

The hypocrites include those of us (men) that will mention marriage or tell a lady that we are single just because we want to get into their pants.

The hypocrites include the ladies that will say they can not be a second wife to any man but they have opened their legs to several men (young or old, boyfriend or sugar daddy, sex for cash or for career progression, etc) even when marriage was not on the table.

I am not really pro-polygamy but I believe that people condemn that practice way too much than is deserved. The problem is not with polygamy but with the people practicing it today.
