MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY OF NEWFOUNDLAND is ranked 370 in the world and 21 best university in canada with 939 scholar by webometric rankin of january 2010 you can chek it with cutting edged research facilities. http://www.webometrics.info/rank_by_country.asp?country=ca

so you are open to diffrent options and choices, if you are okay with the university you can contact them. Nothing is impossible in this world and The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible cos Without inspiration the best powers of the mind remain dormant, they is a fuel in us which needs to be ignited with sparks.

That could be a big challenge and I do not envy you. I have some questions though:

1. Do you respect yourself n d subordinate?
2. Is this subordinate rude to everyone or does it appear to be jst u?
3. Are you on top of your job?
4. Did you get to be the person's boss by merit?

We need more details please.

i'm browsing at work for the last time, i'm officially leaving this dam today, so that means bye-bye to 24/7 electricity, soldiers guarding you, and peace and quiet, people liking you just because you're a corper . . .the downs: having goats poo on your front porch, seeing more animals than people, hearing people speak in hausa(even when we're in the switchyard), having to wait for shift bus or 'abeg-sir', being around the many incompetent people that make up a large percentage of the nigerian power sector and a host of other things.

it also means hello to decent looking buildings, girls i can actually have decent conversations with, a proper internet connection among others.

dont worry, i'm not abandoning this thread. . .i'm temporarily resuming work with mumsie asap, she's a M&E(monitoring and evaluation) consultant and she works from home(was a civil servant for donkey years though), at least i will have funding for my womanisingphilanthropic activities. grin
Congratulations man. That phase of ur life is OVER!!!

Nigerian police are bastards. Seriously, the things I saw my mouth no fit dey talk.
We were treated relatively well because most of them sympathised with us but still - - -

Ajanlekoko.

The next time u tell me senior management is not all dat it is cracked up to be, I'll e-fight you :-P

Not something, MANY things are wrong with Nigeria and Nigerians. U don't even have to be out dere to know dis though that drives home the point strongly. Sometimes, I feel like we have gone beyond redemption sef.

@ Topic
This year started on a sour note for moi.
Jan 2nd, my sister's friend went to beach with us for our annual beach picnic and then - - - she drowned!
Please say a prayer for her soul.

We went to report at the police station and den my sister was detained, I couldn't leave her behind so abt 3 of us were detained n we spent 48hrs behind police 'counter'.
It was a horrible situation.

Life in the office has been alrite, just alrite. I need to move on soon cos I just be like local champion.

I dropped her a mail and she was gracious enough to reply and I even had 5 missed calls from 121.

Your office politics stories make me itch greatly to get up there. though u make it sound scary at times, i still crave all the tings dat come wit it; negative and postitive.
