Vanity upon vanity, all is vanity. I move a motion that whenever he dies, his body should be divided into 8 equal parts and be buried seperately on the 8 plots of land. |
Stallion77: ur username is out of this world... m/f?I am "f". So? What do u want? |
Kobojunkie: Did you skip primary school? I ask because I have no clue why anyone would ask that question. If I say I want Jonathan to resign, do you believe that means I want to take over from him? Now I see you are totally CLUELESS. |
This is really encouraging. Believe in yourself and you can make it. |
If Nigeria should break up, of what profit would it be to all of us?. I bet u, people from East, West, North & South would still cry "had I known" in d long run. Is it not better we put tribal sentiments aside and make a headway |
The aboki wants 2 go 2 Dubai to purchase jewelry for his small-small nyarinyas. |
So if Jonathan resigns, will Mohammed Fahwemi take over? Can he rule Nigeria better? Olodo wey no fit brush im teeth! Mchewwwww |
“The protection of lives and property of the citizens is the basis of any government in power and if the leadership has failed woefully to deploy the resources and information at its disposal to enforce coercive power for the benefit of the society, then it had no reason to stay on,” he stated. When he was d FCT administrator, how many lives did he protect? Is it d lives he sent packing from their properties and rendered homeless? In spite of all their cries, did anyone call on el-ruffian to resign? Abeg park well joor! [b] He said the current situation in the country had made many Nigerians to be worried about the future of the country, warning that if urgent steps were not taken to reverse the dangerous trend, the country could be plunged into a deeper crisis Na your family them go plunge into deeper crisis, not NIgeria. |
Confirming the incident, the Borno State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Gideon Jibrin, said the reports of the killing in Mafoni ward was received on Tuesday morning. He said Mafoni is one of the black spots identified by the joint task force and police. “It is a place where some members of the Boko Haram sect use as a hideout and from where they launch attacks on other parts of Maiduguri metropolis, “Jubrin stated. Has the Police raided the place or made effort to arrest the hoodlums during their meetings there? |
Yes I will. Stable electricity would make a difference |
IT's a BIG LIE o! I've confirmed that there was nothing of such. Pls we shopuld stop spreading false and bad news! Imagine d heart attack this false alarm might cause to people whose family or friends are in Kogi state. People should stop deriving pleasure in scaring others plzzzz |
People must desist from making this kind of inciting statements. Which one is war again? Pls Nigerians, there's is no need 4 war o! War no be primary school children's fight o! By 2015, anybody that wants to rule shd come and rule, GEJ shd be allowed to finish his tenure in peace, no be fight matter I take God beg una. |
floriana: Those are expensive TM.Lewin shirts and the SSS cannot afford many of them. So at least arrested criminals have a chance of wearing designers shirts for the last time. The shirts arte recycled and processed for the next batch of vilest suspects. This na simply SSS-suspects-arraignment-uniform. There is no deception here, abi una wan make them parade d suspects naked? They have to make do with the suspects clothes they have in their office |
Opposition parties always look for excuses to discredit the government of the day. As for those saying Nigeria is now a laughing stock in d international community, I think we made it so with our hands. We always tend to publicize the negative issues in our country but fail to blow the trumpet when things go right. Nigerians must learn not to throw away the baby together with the bath-water, they say. |
I've always admired Pat Utomi's constructive criticisms, quite better than El Rufai, Buhari, Japheth Omojuwa, Dino Melaye and Tunde Bakare's empty rantings all in d name of opposition. The Constitution empowers state governors and LGA chairmen to engage in developmental projects in their respective states and LGAs. They also have to source of internal revenue, instead of always waiting for manner to fall from heaven thru the Federal Govt. If everybody should play his/her part, Nigeria would be better. |
stolen stone: pls can someone throw more light on emotional cheating? The OP mentioned that cheating can come in form of intimate and emotional cheating! I mean most guys n gals let their minds run wide with things they see on the streets, at d workplace, on d web, books, movies etc, Is fantasy technically a form of emotional cheating?? Or am I missing something here??Emotional cheating could be easily described as showering so much care, love and attention on another person other than ur partner, at d detriment of d needs of ur partner. Here, u are emotionally attached to the other person. *hope this answers ur question* |
ypzilanti: Let's outsource the trial to the United Kingdom. Then I will expect justice.Just like the Onanefe James Ibori's case abi. Shaking my head |
O chi mooo! CPC & ACN are at it again! Always tarnishing the image of those in power at d slightest provocation. This kain competition sef. But on a more serious & unbiased note, this woman is one of the most transparent govt officials I've ever seen in 9ja, just like Prof Dora Akunyili. She has made a lot of things going on in her Ministry public, I believe she would deliver, as far as this budget issue is concerned. |
A MAJOR problem of Nigeria is the oil money. Oil money is extraordinary in that it does not come from any national effort, toil or sweat. It comes not from any agricultural, manufacturing, scientific or technological endeavour. It results not from our resourcefulness, innovation or ingenuity. It is a windfall; it, literally, drops from above. The monthly financial allocations from the Federal government to state and the local governments are similarly windfalls. They hover like clouds in the sky, and then, drop like rain every month, emptying into the outstretched and expectant hands of state governors and local government chairmen. The problem with such hand-outs is that it is hard to handle them with thrift and accountability. As the hackneyed but instructive saying goes, “easy come, easy go” Nobody labored for the money. Consequently, nobody feels particularly responsible for it because it is, particularly, nobody’s money. So, the governors and the politicians can be remiss and extravagant in their expenditure of their allocations. And because the people do not have a strong sense of ownership of these hand-outs, their demand for accountability and transparency in their spending is half-hearted. A very powerful antidote to the office holders’ lack of accountability and the people’s almost indifference to the handling of public funds is internally generated funds, of which taxation is a major source. As a simple example:...http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/07/the-perils-of-taxation-without-credibility/ |
eunisam: Must he be a seat at home president becouse of the continues strike of BH?I wonder o! That Boko haram & their political fathers are still at work is not enough reason 4 Nigeria to isolate itself from d rest of d world & severe her diplomatic relationships with other countries. |
LOL. Happy thread day indeed ![]() |
sexkillz: These kind of girls are the ones that see a man for who he really is and not for his looks or wealth alone. They may say NO to you now, but as they eventually see your devotion and your kindness towards them they tend to have a change of heart. -- Talk about using the head and not the mind.Yeah, it does happen |
State creation is not what they said they want o! Efforts should be made towards developing the states we have already. The masses should be provided with basic amenities, education, health care, etc Creating new states is not d solution to BH issue |
What has the Vice President done to Boko haram? Is he not a Muslim like them? Or they are just attacking whoever spontaneously comes to their mind |
Cheating is partaking in affectionate or sexual relations with someone other than your significant other while you are still in a relationship together. It can be of a sexual or emotional nature. If your girlfriend or boyfriend is cheating on you, or you think that they are, it's best to get it out in the open. Talk seriously with your mate, and find out what's going on. It's better to take the hurt than to go on being suspicious. Sadly cheating is something that nobody expects to have happen in their relationship, but it often happens, despite how much two people may love each other. Most people don't even realize that their spouse or significant other is cheating on them. Even though there are some signs, they are never sure indicators that someone is cheating. Small changes in behavior are usually the biggest indicator of infidelity, and they may go unnoticed for awhile. If someone suspects their spouse is cheating, it's a good possibility that they are. The invention of the Internet has made it easier for people to meet people and cheat. Some people do not consider “cyber relationships” real nor cheating. However, the emotional attachments that can be formed while chatting with someone on the Internet can be just as destructive to a marriage as a physical affair. It is possible to rebuild a relationship after infidelity, but it will take a lot of work from both people. Trust takes a second to break and years to rebuild once someone has been unfaithful. The couple may even consider working with a counselor in an attempt to rebuild their relationship. |
Fellow Nairalanders, What are your expectations from the trial of the Subsidy fraud suspects? I hear that while some were docked, others were granted bail. What do you envisage as the possible outcome of this on-going drama? As for me, Nigeria must be rid off all forms of corruption. |
dipotech: Who do we blame for that, is it judiciary or Mr President?None of the above Akon says blame it on him |
Fellow Nigerians, let us demand 4 JUSTICE! This case must not be swept under the carpet. The cabals must be brought to book. I don't even like this bail thing that was granted to them. They 4 sleep 4 some days/ week inside law enforcement custody. |
Kunlebabs375: Achievable if GEJ 7point agenda can be implemented. And a permanent solution is profforgo the security challenges faced by the country especially Boko Haram. Then we will have no reason than to laugh.which one is GEJ 7 point agenda again? Oga, in which century are u? 7point agenda was Yaradua's agenda while GEJ's own now is the TRANSFORMATION AGENDA o!!! He wants to TRANSFORM the country, let us all help him by doing our own little part wherever we are. |
Delafruita: i was inclined to respond differently but i suspect you havent read his statement.read yourself and dont base your assessment of the man on what the laptop squad are saying.I read his statement alright and I understand all he said okay. He's just trying to wipe his face soiled with corruption. |
