I believe the opposite ... that one gets more religious when abroad. If one was a church goer in Nigeria ... when he goes abroad he will attend church because it is a must for him on Sundays ... a sin if he doesn't. When he gets to the church abroad ... he will see a huge difference... the biggest being collecting money is not a priority... they usually collect once or maybe twice if there is a special offering. If you give or don't give ... give much or give little doesn't matter at all... if you give $100 000 dollars you wouldn't be praised or be given special attention. The preaching will be to lift you spiritually ... help keep you away from worldly vices ... not about squeezing more money out of you. It is then your eyes will open and you realize all the while you were being scammed back home. It is then you will decide to be religious.... to see things differently... to realize all the hollering and screaming was a sham and not tolerated abroad as it is expected back home to prove you are filled with a spirit. It is then you will know it is written God helps those who help themselves ... and there will be no midnight prayer vigils to go to for God to favor you and get a job for you while you sit at home waiting. Honestly, i really appreciate your time in answering my questions.

But i hope you're not keeping some secrets from me maybe because you may feel this is an open space and there's a limit to what you can say.

I'm really paticular about the f2 for my civil partner. If you say its a temp visa of course i do know it is. But so many applicants here do it for their wife, are you telling me all of them go thru the stress of doing it for their wife even after knowing the wife will just be there for a short time and she wont work, or is there a secret nigerians are using over there whereby the wife can stay longer and do some under the radar job.

Also ask your sibling to send you a scanned copy of his/her PR card (back and front). I know of a person who was unable to complete his express entry application because he claimed sibling point and received ITA. When it was time to submit application the sibling began to drag his feet and refused to send the scanned copy of the card

Been in the US since May and it has been the best story of my life I'm forever grateful to God for directing my path and continuously ushering my way.

It's been more than a life and experience I ever could dare to dream of and my gratitude is unending.

My people, I started working the day after I got into this country of God and it has been obvious that God did set my foot upon here and given me "it" for inheritance. This country and land is indeed where my destiny belongs.

As I write, I can afford whatever I want, drive whatever car I want, working hard legally, saving up, and on my way to buying a business. This is my bigger goal.

To cut a long story short, everything has just been falling into the right places that I can't even find the right words to describe or explain it. Everybody around me dey surprised even the folks I met here but heck, I am not. Why? I earned it my people. If you knew me and my history, you'd agree with me that I did truly earn it and deserve more.

Earning $6k effortlessly monthly, driving a 2014 car, and studying at the same time.

Sometimes I just try to calculate how much I have made here in total since May and my head go wan scatter, but my bank account balance and the funds i repatriate monthly to support family and friends is a testament to how God and life had been both good and kind to me.

Should I also add that within this time under review that i was able to buy my daughter a 2016 car?

I still believe there will be one more draw this year but scores will definitely be closer to 500. Express entry is now much more competitive than it was a few years go. I met a lady who came got ITA with 431 in 2018. With the number of international students enrolling into colleges and universities in Canada I'd suggest that anyone interested in applying should do so as quickly as possible because once these students graduate and work for one year they'll enter the pool with higher scores due to canadian education and canadian work experience
