You're not the only one experiencing this UI. This year for me hasn't been my best also. I've changed emails, changed templates, and other methods. Still, no positive results.

My recent sale came from Afternic at $799 despite having it for only $299 on Dan.

Even if I don't get a sale before, I still get some "no thanks". The case is now a little different as end users aren't interested in stressing and wasting their replies.

Ive opted to removing prices from my emails just to get the curious prospects to reply. I pray God of sales come to our aid.

I've since reduced all my domain names (almost at least) to $100 just to get some sales. Hopefully results will come

I thought briefly at a time that maybe Dan was the problem, but people here are still making frequent sales on there. It's just confusing.

1. Take time to read at least the first 500 pages of this thread and then assess the domain names above based on what you read.

2. After reading almost all the pages (all is better), get more money and register more domains based on your learning.

Good morning, great ones! There's something bothering my mind and I was hoping someone here may be able to share some useful insights.

What's the longest time that could be considered "normal" to not get a positive response from outbound, even when offering massive discounts? I think what I'm experiencing right now might not be normal.

The last sale that I could easily trace to outbound marketing was around early to mid May. One of my two sales since then was a Geo and it sold unexpectedly at Afternic, even though no one took the discounted offer I had made several weeks before then.

Even changing to a new email address (outbound wise) hasn't seemed to improve anything. What could wrong, anyone?

I think it's specifically the singular version, but I may be wrong.

I had registered a couple "realtor" domain names in the past, that is after avoiding them for a long time due to the trademark palaver. Interestingly, both got sold despite one of the leads contacted pointing out that risk.

I bought a domain just 4 days ago. I've not done any outbound, but I'm seeing 40 views on Dan.

Could be bot and/or people who saw it on the drop list.

On the issue of views, it can be strange sometimes. I noticed "higher than usual" number of views with two domains I registered including the keyword "footcare" on DAN. However, I can't remember any of those I reached out to responding that they were interested.

Well, I believe that 90% of people interested in doing this are in Nigeria and will definitely be using pickup services of folks in the USA. In most cases sellers prefer to meet in a public place like a bank environment, eateries or on the street. Just like we have some ‘dangerous’ areas in Nigeria the same is true with certain communities in the west too. So I will reemphasize checking to make sure the item is not underpriced, that’s a big red flag!

This happened to me few minutes ago (for the second time). I became aware of the 5X bonus more or less after the first mistake. Imagine loading to buy data (and manage their network) and you get this shock.

Seeing that the network has been allowed to continue using this code is simply another manifestation of the despondency-inducing state of the country. Things that work as they should are far outnumbered by those not working.

NCC is practically useless as far as I am concerned. They'd make you go through protocols all for nothing!

On Upwork, if you want to buy connects from your Nigerian bank account, you pay as high as 471 naira to 1 dollar, yet Upwork exchanges at 389 naira to a dollar, see the double standards? We Nigerian Freelancers have invaded their customers service with barrage of complaints (trust Nigerians na) but the situation seem unlikely to change.
I have issue activating my Payoneer because I lost access to my Nigerian phone number. Until I travel back home to fix that, Gtbank and Upwork will continue to shortchange me.

IMHO, I don't think Upwork is really to blame but the policy makers in the country.

The official sell rate (you selling) was around N410 when I checked recently. Of course, Upwork's payment processor probably also charges something for their service.

Guys, why is it that Ubersuggest, Domain Index and Estibot give different data for the same domain name.

Today, i used ubersuggest and it gave me SV: 590 CPC: $6.84 for a domain but Estibot and Domain Index gave SV: 0 CPC: 0.

Among these three, whose data is more reliable?

To me, Estibot is a hope-killer of sorts. You'd often see them estimate a domain that sold for higher $Bleep at less than $100.

For instance, the tool priced two pending delete domains I was watching weeks ago at no more than $100 around the time. One was a city+dentist domain and the other Business/Law/Tampa. Both were drop-caught!

All these tools are actually only better than nothing. It's still left to each person to decide what prices work for them. I prefer GoDaddy's appraisal tool plus maybe Namebio to determine prices.

Yeah, I am aware that people with accents and even those that can't string together complete, error-free sentences are in America. But some leads in North America can ask where you are calling from.

Actually, two (one in the US and one in Canada) have asked me that in the past. I told them from Africa (didn't mention Nigeria) because I have no intention of lying in this business - not saying I'm a saint, though. I can remember one telling me he preferred carrying out businesses with locals.

This is why I was wondering if anyone is doing better using their Nigerian info in email signatures.

As your blog gets traction, monetize with affiliate product links, Google Adsense and display adverts if your targeted traffic is huge. This is the most assured passive income you can think of. But you must have passion for research and content writing.

I have repeatedly seen people mention the importance of personal or business information in email signatures. I'm trying to decide if including information that suggests I'm in Nigeria wouldn't hurt. Although I have a US phone number, I don't want to explain why my accent is how it is so I am reluctant to include it.

What do you suggest I include, please?

Sav seems to be ready for some serious business. I am only aware of their issue with Dan, even that you can list there once the 60-day lock expires. Na to just list for Afternic until then.

I even noticed something curious about the registrar today. I listed a few fresh domains I registered there at Afternic yesterday or so and I received the Fast Transfer opt-in email today. I wasn't expecting that at all due to the standard 60-day transfer lock. Other registrars would delay the email.

I sometimes wonder if deaths were responsible for some valuable domains that expire daily. That seems like the most convincing reason to me.

Yesterday I read on Domaining how eBanking in king was allowed to drop. I was like . That domain sold for almost 57k at DropCatch!

I simply combined some common words, plus a few others I observed to be appealing (including rock, strength, king etc), and ran a search for availability.

As I wrote in the original post, I pointed the domain to SquadHelp. So I didn't use any Afternic lander; I only listed there.
