Tried using the gblast extension to mass mail, it was unsuccessful. Kept saying "Sending in progress, 0 mail sent out of 200. 200 mails in queue". Waited for almost 30 mins or more sef still nothing. Though it worked perfectly fine the first time I used it.

Has anybody encountered such here? Thank you.

Take your time to research the keyword and know how much your enduser makes before pricing your names.

It's what I do.

I also try as much as possible to run away from low budget niches and stingy cities.

Do your research, it's a thing.

I wish you luck trying to sell a HouseCleaning niche for $750+.

I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm just wishing you luck.

There are some cities I won't waste my time on even if you handed me the coolest keywords variations available on them.

When you know how much your enduser makes relatively, you'd have an idea of how much to price your names without pissing them off.

Also, if you don't ask for high figures, your names will never sell for high figures.

So choose your pain and drink its remedy in silence.

You're also seeing the difference.

1) Use the price history of previously similar sold names, afternic new beta version has that feature as a guide.

2) Buy Good names end users want, the type you would send only 1 outbound mail & no more. The type your gut immediately recognizes as a goldmine.

3) And the ability to confidently negotiate & reject prices even when you really need the cash.

And for some reason, buyers prefer to pay higher at Afternic.

Get number 2 right and you'll sell for more than $500 in a week. It's what everyone struggles with(finding great names)

I have seen the notification on Afternic prompting me to try Beta 2.0 or something, but I just dey look away. Betas commonly have glitches from my experience.

I have some names (around a quarter of my portfolio) I have this extra positive feeling about and I am willing to renew. I'd also like to slam higher price tags on them and hope for the best, but I just didn't know how to fix the "right" prices.

I'll look into the Afternic suggestion in addition to Namebio and GoDaddy to see how I can go about arriving at prices.

I make use of email tracker to ascertain the number of times an end-user opened my mails. (Mailtrack.io)


After a series of outbounds and follow-ups, I then check to see how many times an end-user opened it.
For those once that opened it just once or twice, I ignore.
But others (3times and above)
I send them this

A Funny Story

Let me just drop this sales report because of the story behind it.

So I gave a scrapper 4 domains to get end users for me. He came back and asked me to replace one of those domains because the tool he was using for the scrapping can't work for that particular domain's country.

I replaced it with the domain in the screenshot below. A geo I bought in 2019 (renewed 2020). Did several outbounds but didn't sell.

He sent the Enduser list for that particular domain, and the number of Endusers was less than 20 (after removing duplicates and all that).

I outbounded to more Endusers last year than the small list he was giving me. I even used FAX for outboud!

Anyway, because the list was small, I started with that.

And it sold that same day!

Maybe luck, providence, Grace, hardwork, whatever...

But the domain was quite good sha.
I even reduced the price to $199 at some point as I wanted to get rid of it.

Other info: Sold via the new GoDaddy ns5/ns6 Landers.

Alexxien, you funny o. If na me fear go catch me sef. I mostly use my Dingtone number for texting. Calls haven't been ending in sales - only the very first one did. I don't pick calls, except it's a saved contact, because they're mostly spam.

Fergusen, me sef dey suspect those IT guys. They're hardly helpful to our cause.

My people, could you share how long you have gone without a sale and what you did, if anything, to break the cycle?

This "drought" is somewhat troubling. Most leads open emails and even click links but nothing afterwards. Discounts don't seem to excite them either - including those that previously showed interest.

Yet, I thought the quality of names acquired this year is better than before. This thing taya me o.

I think Ikhalyfah once wrote his longest time without sale was about three weeks. This one is over 30 days already.

So whenever you want to send email...instead of showing the normal gmail address it will be showing the custom address you have added and made default.

Then if any reply is coming it will land in your normal gmail address, unless you want the reply to land somewhere else like in another gmail address...there is a setting for that also...

Just visit your gmail settings...everything is there..just be playing with it until you achieve your result...

This is what I did...

I have 6 gmail addresses m using for outbounding...

My custom email is j...@mydomain.com
