Sales Report

VancouverVideoProductions.com
Sales Venue: Dan
Sale price: $299
Hold time: 8 months.

PS: I still help to source for quality leads for your domains. My number is on my signature. More sales to us all.

Congrats, bro. More sales.

If I may ask, did you offer a discount around the time you sold this or it just came completely out of the blue?

AkProsper:
What I was able to deduce is that, they didn't reply doesn't mean they didn't see the mail.

I got a lot of replies (even though they weren't positive) after the 3rd and 4th mail.

What I have observed is that if a lead doesn't see your first two emails, they probably won't see those you send using the same email address afterwards.

The fact that they don't reply any of those two emails in most cases shows that they aren't interested or are still thinking about it.

toby345:
called one yesterday it went fine she said she will get back
You can't call with a USA number and tell her you are from Nigeria it will trigger scam

Thanks. Interesting but...

Do you realize some businesses have access to tools that can report your location? Streak and GMass reports should give you a hint.

Now, imagine a business has found out that you're in Nigeria through means such as the above and you're claiming another country. What would they think?

AkProsper:
Guys what's the proper/recommended spacing for sending the follow-up.

Below is a reply after sending the 4th email within 1 week.

Al the, my observation is that I got over 12 replies showing not interested.

This is a reason I am wary of sending too frequent follow-ups, but I am currently experimenting it since some says it works. I'm yet to see the results, though.

For people who have called potential end users before, have you ever been asked where you are from? If yes, did you tell them you're from Nigeria?

Thanks.

Salesbay:
I had a similar problem, I checked for the auth code at my domain dashboard but it was lesser in character number that the rest. I mailed them immediately, when they eventually replied ( 5-working days later) I discovered it was the same just that some characters were previously omitted. But now whenever I click on "show transfer code" they usually send it to my mail, so check your mail for the auth code. The one sent to your mail should be correct.

Thanks for the response, boss.

Five working days! . That's a long time, man. Person gat to be careful with this registrar be that o.

Yeah, the last character of the original code didn't copy. I had to copy it again and re-initiate the transfer; I was charged separately for that. The fresh transfer completed the same day. By the way, I transferred inward from Epik.

I only need a refund for the failed transaction now.

Please who has had an experience with Sav's support team here?

A transfer to them failed yesterday due to entering a wrong Auth code, but I wasn't refunded. The transaction remained in progress despite being told the code was wrong and there was no option to edit or cancel.

It's already about 30 hours since contacting support and no word from them yet. Do they always take this long to respond? First time there.

nkeona:
The reason this is happening is because the FG through the NCC increased tariff for international inbound calls by more than 500%. This made the foreign network providers to now route their call through local Nigerian numbers so they are charged as local calls.

This explains it then.

I tried calling my Nigerian number around the time I got a Dingtone number last year. What I saw as the calling number at the was one from Airtel, if I remember correctly.

ElonMosque:
I no do again. Just saw this :

The funny (and sad) thing is that many guys are making legit money through online stuff - examples full this thread. And the money they make is making massive difference in the economy.

Yet, in its "wisdom" this government thinks the best is to add these folks to the teeming jobless people in the country. But if God allows jungle to mature ehn and the tame turns to the wild... make I reserve my comment.

ElonMosque:
Na the thing. But it’s worth doing now , more than ever.

It is, but where will one find the kind of references they need?

Some will even want you to provide people having current accounts (not for salary) in the SAME bank. I no even get one of such.

EtimAbasiama:
No way that's too high, this people na thieves oo. CBN no see this ones

Says who?

Yet, these same banks will want to convert your USD at a rate less than N400 (or even 380).

ElonMosque:
That looks like the best solution right now.

Getting references no be beans, bro. That's a major reason I don't have one all these years.

allandutch:
In "developed" countries, Canada for example, their government looks for problems within their country and work on ways to solve them.

In this country, the politicians and their appointees in various government office do exactly the opposite. They aggressively look for problems, ways they can make life harder for there citizens. And as if that's not enough, they're are still going to cripple the efforts of anyone trying to solve the problems they created.

Our politician's behavior is what happens when administrators are being overpaid, they loose interest in solving problems and will only be interested in making sure that they continue to be overpaid. Damn the rest of the country, Fūck the reason they were appointed.

APC and PDP are the same. Both parties are only interested in securing access to the Goldmine. Nothing else matter to them and as long as power remains in the hands of these two parties, nothing will change after 2023.

Well stated, bro. Whatever honour I had for Buhari before he became a civilian president is practically now gone!

The sad thing is that those two parties or the major players in them are more likely to still be in power come 2023. The #EndSars protests is an indication; consider how elements created by politicians (thugs) hijacked the whole thing. SMH

Abdogood:
They same leaders will come back in 2023 to seek you vote with 5k and alot of people here calling them different names will still vote for them. Wonderful con3

I'm not sure. I don't think the people unleashing their frustration here are the type to buy their vote with 5k. Think again.

EtimAbasiama:
Yea, lost my dad last week, and we're still trying to gather ourselves. No money so we need the least money around bro. That money na money wey God just carry give me through my recent sales

Sad one there. May God rest his soul and give you and the rest of the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

allandutch:
Walahi, na morons dey run this country.

Are they now sending domainers back to $26 bank charges era?

The thing wey this analogue generation dey do us ehn na to pray make we stay alive and in one piece until 2023 and beyond.

I don taya for this country. What have these people gotten right, especially in the past 1-2 years? They have backpedaled on practically all they said while campaigning.

I wish I can just sleep and wake up in a saner clime. Canada no go bad.

Yeah, we know that no political party in Nigeria (especially the big two) can be trusted. But if I hear APC from anyone come 2023, God granting, na wahala for them o.

The party and the leading people in it ought to be consigned to the bottomless pit of ignominy. Never to be reckoned with in the country's polity ever again!

To think I believed in this PMB and almost voted for him that year (2015) but was unable to do so because I changed location. I practically "supported" him back then. SMH.

QueenRebecca:
The guy is on fire since last week

PLEASE READ

The newbies like me need to be more enlightened and understand the dynamism of this GEO domain name business.

There are some of us who believe that once you reg first domain the sales will start rolling in which is a wrong concept.

One thing I have learnt over time is the more you reg good domains the more chances of making sales.

As a result, this prompt me to ask some you guys who are making consistent sales every month that

How many domain names do you have with you before you make your first sales ?

When experience drought (lack of sales) what do you do? Do you reg more domains or what??

Please do not ignore, your response will go a long way saving some people from depression in this business due to lack of sales. We are stronger emotional pass each other.

ElonMosque, Learner47, ikhalyfah, Alawi5k, tranxo, crylefit, slimjosh, U1, ab2care etc

I'm responding only because you called my attention. Those other guys na dem o. Na two names God don help me sell as of now this year.

I almost forgot you quoted me sef because when I saw your mention I found out the antispam bot had already gone mad again.

What if I told you last year was the first I sold more than 2-3 names in a year! I'm still trying to find what works.

But one thing I can say is that while before last year I made small sales (in number and value), yet I couldn't say I lost money. I got everything I invested plus a little extra; I just didn't felt the time and energy put in was well rewarded. I pushed on all the same.

As the bosses would often say, just keep registering good names, do your due diligence, and commit everything to God (this should ideally come first).

If you reg 10 names, for example, a single sale out of them can bring back the money invested plus something extra. Some of those our oga at the top can sell up to five or more names out of 10!

dominique:
...

Dominique, please the bot has started again. It has banned me unjustly in the business section yet again. Help remove the ban.

As an aside, the antispam bot is reducing the quality of experience on the forum. It's issuing bans more frequently for no valid reasons, at least in my case. Could you also inform Seun or whoever is in charge to fire the bot? It's incompetent!

NiceMen:
Has anyone sold a foot and ankle geo domain? How much did u sell it for?

Not really. Sold a city+footcare for 299 last year.

golamike:
Congrats. And how did you reply him??

I'm afraid it was with something along the line, "Thanks for your response. Sorry, it's been sold."

It's not like I have another similar name anyway.

Second sale of the year

Name: Voice/Lessons/NY
Price: 399
Type: Outbound
HT: Less than two weeks

This becomes my highest single sale to date, eclipsing the previous high of 350.

An interesting thing is that I wasn't convinced when registering this name. I wanted to pass it over because I don't think I have ever managed to sell a domain in the format keyword+city.

The sale was finalised yesterday (imported lead last Friday).

I saw the reply of one of those contacted this morning. He informed me their director was interested and would like to know how much they'd pay monthly after the initial price.

Progress. Thanks be to God! We sef see something put for pocket.

justmykel:
Lol... Wetin concern me? But E be like say I hit that like button Sha

I talk am! If I be detective, I go good o.

Abeg, let's kill this pandemic talk jare. I don't mean the virus isn't real - never thought that way once.

But if people believe it's not killing and that those infected always recover, shout for all eternity and they won't do a thing.

If these pictures are real, did you notice anything wrong with people that were supposed to be working with or for government?

justmykel:
This talk sweet plenty people Sha but them no get Liver to speak out. See likes

Including you, abi? I dey suspect you.

Spiritualizt:
yes i mean the domain name eg "austin crane rentals" how can i switch it?

Good. In that case, maybe you want to check content body. The Gmass Inbox feature that someone (priceaction?) recommended may be helpful, although I just learnt about it.

Let me add that there are groups of emails you might send and not get a reply at times. It's when you follow up on them that some leads would inform you that they saw the original message but just weren't interested.

Learner47:
HasbunAllahi Waniimal Wakil.

Jan was quiet--- it was all about outbounding..with little follow up..at the start of the month with Allah's help I got a $599 sale on one of the first outbound....after which I still had around 35 names to outbound---looking at all the names made me discouraged...lazy-and unenthusiastic..I had told myself I aint going no more on reg spree. Would want to focus on Brandables...but ground never level.....so as the month fired on.. girlfriend issues cameup..malaria.. psychology problems...etc.. literally lost the zeal to do outbound or read..but again I was being consistent...like in some days I outbound a little like 30 end users.. continue the next day..some days skip. So in summary January was a dull month in terms of energy level...but thanking God also.

So yesterday Friday.....just in the evening...was assessing myself internally and I knew I had relapsed. So I went back to look at some of my uncompleted outbounds....cause I do outbounds in phases, like send to 30 users today..then continue tomorrow to avoid Google locking the account...I wanted to continue them...but a thought came to me I should try something new instead from the fresh unbounded list of around 35 names I was spearing for Feb....

I picked one of the name that had city+realtor.......the girl that was giving me headache called after ignoring her 9 missed call...saying y wasn't I pickin..I didn't answer...after 5min of conversation...I told her to pray for me..I had something to do..ended the call. Called my sister and mum to pray for me too..I prayed also...and began outbound....

I outbound to 6 end users using the sales letter format I had dropped in the previous posts.

One of the end user replied is the fees forever.....cause I had set 1201 USD. I told her yes. Another end user replied that their union don't use Realtor...I replied her with some "Jargons" like that.....last last I lost the zeal to outbound...I just go crash...I say God..all these prayer I pray even though I know sale this name...I know you go make me sell another one...na so I take crash ooo...

Then this evening...I just saw an email the domain has been sold for 1201usd...when the money enters...I'll post the name.

So January...is looking like I'll end up with 1201+599=1800usd in sales for around 17usd investment.

Sorry for my long epistle and private life brouhaha.

Random advice: as a man in this business & anything u set out to achieve...if you can put women aside (semen retention)... totally for 1 or 2 years, pray to God (If you believe in spiritual), improve on your fitness--gym, mind ur business+ drink water and focus on that some thing completely u will achieve that thing....not just selling domains....but beyond that....But to achieve such level of discipline is hard!

May God bless everyone with more sales. Those yet to sales...just follow the thread bumper to bumper your time go come soon.

Congrats, sire.

God is wonderful sha. I had to practically "beg" someone in a city of about the same size to take a city+realtor off my hand for 200.

PS: That semen part is on God o. Some guys haven't had sexual relation with a lady for years, yet they release involuntary at random times (wet dreams). In the end, only Goodness knows.

Some Leads finding methods for Geos:

1. Google Map
2. Google
3. Bing
4. Yelp
5. Yellow Page (VPN)
6. Social Media Networks

Lead Finding Softwares:

1. Sky Email Extractor (Free):
To get more leads you pay around 20USD to get the full package.

2. Reon

3. Atomic Email Hunter.

Search for Sky Email extractor on Google...download--install to your pc.

under keyword=====say you want to outbound Austin/Towing/com....just type Austin Towing and hit search....you get like 100+ free leads. A very good software.

E be like say the price of the tool don double (even with a discount) after just about six months.

Spiritualizt:
i normally use the domain name as subject line.

Domain name or domain keywords? If it's the former, you should consider switching to keywords as I have seen someone state here.

priceaction:
Now what I think will be best for you in my opinion step by step.
I use Gmass for many outbounding. So since many of potential customers are always around 100, you know what to do with Gmass free version of you prefer it to others.

PART ONE:
After your extraction, copy all your leads and verify all the emails via https://www.gmass.co/email-extractor-verifier

It will separate the bad and the good. After that, learn how to do mail merge so that it will be very personalised mails and Gmail will not mark them as spam. Copy your data as recipients and do mail merge for it. If you like you can skip that and do normal copying but for me mail merge looks more professional and Very important for me.

PART TWO
draft your subject and email content. The shorter the better.

Go to this link: https://www.gmass.co/inbox

copy all the 20 emails addresses there THEN SEND THE DRAFTED MAIL TO THEM USING THE EXACT SUBJECT LINE AND THE CONTENT YOU WANTED TO SEND TO UR LEADS.
Go back to the link and check where your mail land in those 20 emails. If you can't see them in the list, type your subject line or email address in the search bar and it will automatically bring them out..once you see any of your email, just click it and it will only bring your emails for the rest 19 out to check where they landed.
Notice where each lands for each email. if you have majority in the inbox, the better. If spam or promotional, check your spam solver or retwist your headlines and content and remove multiple links and so on until you get better inbox rates.
Those emails have been highly configured to reject spam messages and many emails will find it difficult to pass through by gmail standard or Spam trap standard .
If you can beat them, and score higher inbox delivery numbers, you can be assured that you will get most of the messages to them and keep following up at intervals. No matter what software you want to use to send (Gmass, streak, bomberang but make sure yu use that link first to get to inbox before major sending).
Good luck.

This is good stuff. Thanks, sire.

The Gmass Inbox is a new one to me. E be like I go port from Streak with what I am seeing from this company.

AwesomeDuru:
Lol. Not new.

That Tranxo guy has to be the most useless entity on this thread.

Never adding value, nothing.

Yet you'll see his comments littered everywhere here with his bloated ego.

Talking like he knows it all.

Na people wey dey even ask am questions I blame.

If this was a physical platform, I'd have personally shoved him outta here long ago.

Fool wey dey disguise.

See wetin dazzlingd don cause o. You don go wake AwesomeDuru now.

We're brothers (and sisters), guys! If we feel some people own too much, abeg na to just leave them to their own; someone else fit help.

The sales are the target, nothing else.
