There are some of us who believe that once you reg first domain the sales will start rolling in which is a wrong concept.

One thing I have learnt over time is the more you reg good domains the more chances of making sales.

How many domain names do you have with you before you make your first sales ?

When experience drought (lack of sales) what do you do? Do you reg more domains or what??

I almost forgot you quoted me sef because when I saw your mention I found out the antispam bot had already gone mad again.

What if I told you last year was the first I sold more than 2-3 names in a year! I'm still trying to find what works.

But one thing I can say is that while before last year I made small sales (in number and value), yet I couldn't say I lost money. I got everything I invested plus a little extra; I just didn't felt the time and energy put in was well rewarded. I pushed on all the same.

As the bosses would often say, just keep registering good names, do your due diligence, and commit everything to God (this should ideally come first).

If you reg 10 names, for example, a single sale out of them can bring back the money invested plus something extra. Some of those our oga at the top can sell up to five or more names out of 10!

This becomes my highest single sale to date, eclipsing the previous high of 350.

An interesting thing is that I wasn't convinced when registering this name. I wanted to pass it over because I don't think I have ever managed to sell a domain in the format keyword+city.

The sale was finalised yesterday (imported lead last Friday).

I saw the reply of one of those contacted this morning. He informed me their director was interested and would like to know how much they'd pay monthly after the initial price.

Good. In that case, maybe you want to check content body. The Gmass Inbox feature that someone (priceaction?) recommended may be helpful, although I just learnt about it.

Let me add that there are groups of emails you might send and not get a reply at times. It's when you follow up on them that some leads would inform you that they saw the original message but just weren't interested.

Jan was quiet--- it was all about outbounding..with little follow up..at the start of the month with Allah's help I got a $599 sale on one of the first outbound....after which I still had around 35 names to outbound---looking at all the names made me discouraged...lazy-and unenthusiastic..I had told myself I aint going no more on reg spree. Would want to focus on Brandables...but ground never level.....so as the month fired on.. girlfriend issues cameup..malaria.. psychology problems...etc.. literally lost the zeal to do outbound or read..but again I was being consistent...like in some days I outbound a little like 30 end users.. continue the next day..some days skip. So in summary January was a dull month in terms of energy level...but thanking God also.

So yesterday Friday.....just in the evening...was assessing myself internally and I knew I had relapsed. So I went back to look at some of my uncompleted outbounds....cause I do outbounds in phases, like send to 30 users today..then continue tomorrow to avoid Google locking the account...I wanted to continue them...but a thought came to me I should try something new instead from the fresh unbounded list of around 35 names I was spearing for Feb....

I picked one of the name that had city+realtor.......the girl that was giving me headache called after ignoring her 9 missed call...saying y wasn't I pickin..I didn't answer...after 5min of conversation...I told her to pray for me..I had something to do..ended the call. Called my sister and mum to pray for me too..I prayed also...and began outbound....

I outbound to 6 end users using the sales letter format I had dropped in the previous posts.

One of the end user replied is the fees forever.....cause I had set 1201 USD. I told her yes. Another end user replied that their union don't use Realtor...I replied her with some "Jargons" like that.....last last I lost the zeal to outbound...I just go crash...I say God..all these prayer I pray even though I know sale this name...I know you go make me sell another one...na so I take crash ooo...

Then this evening...I just saw an email the domain has been sold for 1201usd...when the money enters...I'll post the name.


So January...is looking like I'll end up with 1201+599=1800usd in sales for around 17usd investment.

Random advice: as a man in this business & anything u set out to achieve...if you can put women aside (semen retention)... totally for 1 or 2 years, pray to God (If you believe in spiritual), improve on your fitness--gym, mind ur business+ drink water and focus on that some thing completely u will achieve that thing....not just selling domains....but beyond that....But to achieve such level of discipline is hard!

Domain name or domain keywords? If it's the former, you should consider switching to keywords as I have seen someone state here.

Now what I think will be best for you in my opinion step by step.
I use Gmass for many outbounding. So since many of potential customers are always around 100, you know what to do with Gmass free version of you prefer it to others.

PART ONE:
After your extraction, copy all your leads and verify all the emails via https://www.gmass.co/email-extractor-verifier

It will separate the bad and the good. After that, learn how to do mail merge so that it will be very personalised mails and Gmail will not mark them as spam. Copy your data as recipients and do mail merge for it. If you like you can skip that and do normal copying but for me mail merge looks more professional and Very important for me.

PART TWO
draft your subject and email content. The shorter the better.

Go to this link: https://www.gmass.co/inbox

copy all the 20 emails addresses there THEN SEND THE DRAFTED MAIL TO THEM USING THE EXACT SUBJECT LINE AND THE CONTENT YOU WANTED TO SEND TO UR LEADS.
Go back to the link and check where your mail land in those 20 emails. If you can't see them in the list, type your subject line or email address in the search bar and it will automatically bring them out..once you see any of your email, just click it and it will only bring your emails for the rest 19 out to check where they landed.
Notice where each lands for each email. if you have majority in the inbox, the better. If spam or promotional, check your spam solver or retwist your headlines and content and remove multiple links and so on until you get better inbox rates.
Those emails have been highly configured to reject spam messages and many emails will find it difficult to pass through by gmail standard or Spam trap standard .
If you can beat them, and score higher inbox delivery numbers, you can be assured that you will get most of the messages to them and keep following up at intervals. No matter what software you want to use to send (Gmass, streak, bomberang but make sure yu use that link first to get to inbox before major sending).

I have registered at afternic GoDaddy and expire domain. Also, I have also play around with some tools like Google ads keyword plan for avg monthly search and competition even though I can't read meaning to the data as every word I searched bring same value.

Also playing around with expire domain ( that site has lot of names)

I realized estibotdotcom is not loading
I also check who dot is and and tested the results with different websites.

Someone said something about Hunter dot io still trying to explore it.

GoDaddy website amount is in pounce don't know is everything this is right.

Also I have checked analytics for Moz for DA domain authority and PA page authority of different websites. Still trying to interpret the data.

Lastly ctrlqdot org / sandbox was used to know if a website has aid ban...

Right now I am just confused I still don't get what and how to know when a domain is good enough to buy. What to look out for in a domain Pros in the thread pls share with me. I recently discovered one scrapper called botsol. It scraps GoogleMap, YP and Yelp. And $50 can take you for 6months. I've tried the free version and seems good. I may be using it instead on reon.

It could be luck or grace, I don't know. I have an entirely different perspectives about life, religion, etc.

At times portfolio size might not play a role whatsoever in making a sale happen but it's important too. One person with 2 not so good domain names could make a sale while another with 20 quality domain names hasn't sold any.
A particular business some people are making a killing, others might struggle even with superior knowledge and expertise. Those that struggle could move to a different line of business and start doing well instantly.

We were created differently and a lot of factors come into play in propelling us forwards or backwards in all human endeavors.

The bold probably supports the grace argument, you know? There are some people whom whatever they touch turns to gold where others may have to labour harder to make anything.

At my level of understanding at the moment, this grace has almost nothing to do with whether you believe in God (or whether you're good) or not. That's why it's often described as unmerited - it's not always because of what you have done.

You can't rightly say they're using 'silly' domain names. Perhaps, the so-called 'silly' domain names are working well for them and their businesses. The buying decision rest solely on the end users. Some people call it grace though I'm not convinced if that's true. I've sold a domain recently with just one mail. I sent a mail and the guy replied immediately that he'd buy and the transaction was concluded within 20 mins.

I am tempted to share the view of the bro. My experience these years makes me feel so. Let me get more personal.

I have seen people that came into this business years after I first got into it making more than I made in five years in just a month! It may be shocking or incredible, but it's true.

In addition, I observed that my portfolio is bigger than some of those making more frequent sales here. Add to that the fact that I wouldn't even register some of the names they sold.
