That man cannot speak Mbaise and it is a rural diocese as we know. This issue has lasted too long with a lot of lies and blackmails against Mbaise people. The best thing is to give an Mbaise man Bishop of Awka if they want an Awka man as Bishop of Ahiara. That settles the suspicion of conspiracy.
Uromi is also a rural area and they were given an ibo bishop, i.e akubueze. it happens.

With due respect sir. We have debated Oduduwa here countless times between Yorubas and Binis. This is another seemingly clear case because most of the things being uttered are in Yoruba. Can you shed some light on the connection in African Religion between Yorubas and Binis because the deities, Esu, Orunmila, etc have been in existence long before Oduduwa, and also Ifa has been in many parts of Africa before Oduduwa era.
Your thoughts on this would be highly valued. Thank you sir.
Edos and yorubas share much, divination must have developed together before finally branching off into different types yorubas use Ifa Edos use Iha which is all in bini albeit very old bini. But all these divination systems probably developed together before branching off. So it is possible to see a babalawo in bini who can divine Ifa in Yoruba, Iha in bini, worship olokun, Esu, Ogun, and even Orunmila in edo but Ifa is primarily a Yoruba divination as Iha is a bini one. Though both probably developed together.

But Edo State and Cross Rivers have little or no oil revenue and Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa with loads of oil revenue are 14th and 20 something on the list.

What does that tell you? IGR has nothing to do with oil revenue. It has to do with 2 things: Economic activity and the willingness of the authorities to look beyond Abuja.
true

13% derivation is lumped together with IGR, not to mention the revenues gleaned from the oil industry behemoths and associated oil-related activities... distinct from FAAC allocation. So yeah, oil is still at the centre of the ND states' sustainability.
Derivation is not IGR, derivation is added to allocation that is why rivers, bayelsa and delta has big allocation. Edo doesnt even have much oil wealth, infact it produces VERY LITTLE oil and there arent much oil companies there. The IGR above is principally from tax.

Funnily, with all the negative talk people like to chump on the South South, we are actually by far the best performing even without oil.

4 South South states are in the top ten. In fact Edo and Cross Rivers don't even receive anything from oil sef and yet they are punching hard.

We contribute all of the nations wealth and and still generate our own resources for ourselves while others just wait to share from our natural wealth!!
The edo one is interesting, they have very small allocation compared to other SS states but the IGR has been on the high side for over 5yrs now.

They are ushered in immediately they are around. Once they come, You will hear announcements of dignitaries while the service is on. To compound it, this woman is the head of committee controlling that church location. While Lagos State governor might have acted in haste, the Vicar has broken protocols. Don't let us crucify the woman because her husband is a political office holder.
You will probably noticed sentiments from the people that shared the picture: what is the relationship between the Vicar eviction and the lady's fruit of womb reference?

Christianity Etc › Re: Does GOD permit a woman to divorce an adulterous husband? by Ubenedictus(m): 11:18am On May 27, 2017
Toks2008:
*This write up does not encourage adultery in any form but it is about pointing out the erroneous belief as regards the act of adultery and divorce in relation to the scriptures.Every man must love and be faithful to his wife.

I have seen many situations where a wife leaves her husband against all odds because he committed adultery and she will quickly use the scripture to back up her action.

But does God really permit a wife to divorce an adulterous husband?

According to Islam

The fact that polygamy is an acceptable norm in Islam does not give room for much debate over this matter but nevertheless, there are laid down guidelines to follow if a wife has good evidence that her husbands committed adultery(Please refer to Fataawa 89039 and 85031).

From the bible

God never intended to give any instruction as regards divorce because GOD hates it as it is written in Malachi 2:16 : "For I hate divorce !" says the LORD , the God of Israel.

However, the hardness of MAN's heart(Not the woman) made Moses give men the opportunity to divorce their wives.

While many bible scholars have postulated that whenever a "he" is used in the Bible,it usually applies to man and woman and i perfectly agree but when it comes to matrimonial matters, the bible is very gender specific and has meticulously used the words man, woman, husband and wife with specific instructions relating to each one.

1 corrithians 7:10-11
"But for those who are married, I have a command that comes not from me, but from the Lord. A wife must not leave her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.

Matthew 19:5-9
" Why then," they asked Him, "did Moses command us to give divorce papers and TO SEND HER AWAY?"He told them, "Moses permitted you to divorce your WIVES because of the hardness of your hearts. But it was not like that from the beginning. And I tell you, whoever divorces his WIFE, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery."

So the big question is; When is it right for a woman to divorce her husband?

The only Biblical ground for divorce for the woman is desertion by the man which is never the same as an act of adultery because strangely enough, a man may commit adultery but may not have any intention of deserting his wife.

Desertion is defined as the abandonment of a duty or post without permission and is done with the intention of not returning after all options of true reconciliation fails.

1 Corinthians 7:15. "But if the unbelieving partners leave, let them go. Under these circumstances a Christian man or Christian woman is not bound [by a marriage vow]. God has called you to live in peace".

Desertion by the man can come in many forms.
-If he denies her sex.
-Outrightly abandons her.
-Makes her a punching bag
-Refuses to take care of her and the children even when he is capable

I don't know if this makes sense.
This applies only for am unbelieving spouse.

True, d answer is there, the church has the God given authority to make binding declarations....
the issue is that that church declears things with levels of clarity...the highest level dogma when something is infallibly defined,...is the church using its extraordinary infallible teaching authority when it canonises or is it an ordinary magisteria pronouncement?

Acts 1:14.....“All these were persevering with one accord in prayer with the women, and with Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.”....... Catholic public Domain Bible
amen!

The issue is that the word used for 'brothers' in the greek scripture doesnt always mean uterine brothers, it can also mean fellow relatives or even countrymen. In this case we know the context doesnt support fellow countrymen so they are either relatives or blood brothers.
Here it is important to lay precept on precept, matthew already named the brothers of Jesus and then clearly wrote that they were sons of another mary who is a relative to mary the mother of Jesus. By this we know that the 'brothers' were simply his relatives.

NOT MARY THE MOTHER OF JESUS

Matthew 27:56 among whom were Mary Mag′dalene, and MARY the MOTHER of JAMES and JOSEPH, and the mother of the sons of Zeb′edee.
NOT MARY THE MOTHER OF JESUS...

Luke 24: 10 Now it was Mary Mag′dalene and Jo-an′na and MARY THE MOTHER of JAMES and the other women with them who told this to the apostles
NOT MARY THE MOTHER OF JESUS...

James and Joses/Joseph's Mother is another Mary...

I keep on harping that these people are either playing dumb or suffering from chronic lack of comprehension skills. I mean, it is so obvious, and there's no sugar-coating it.

Okay. They claimed that they don't worship Mary, but they venerate her and the rest of their so-called saints. Now, lets look up the meaning of the word “venerate” in the dictionary: “regard with great respect; revere,” and one of its synonyms is “worship.” Venerate, revere, reverence, worship, and adore all mean to honor and admire profoundly and respectfully, and this honor have non other than God (Deuteronomy 6:13, Psalm 111:9, Isaiah 42:8 ). In Psalm 111:9 (KJV), it states: “...holy and reverend is His name.”

So then, it means that God alone is worthy of this honor, because He has already said that He wouldn't give His glory to another nor His praise to some dumb, blind, lame and worthless idols!

Enjoy your idolatry and delusions.
Tell that to joshua in the bible, since you now claim to know peoples heart and know when they mean to show respect or honour or adoration.

your wahala is that you seem ignorant of the fact that worship comes from the heart, only d person and God knows if it is worship or not, mere bowing or prostrating doesnt imply worship, it is the intent, and you can't come here and pontificate about other peoples intention and what is in their heart. that is presumptous and insultive.
