For the records, the Apostles of Christ were not 'Catholic Christians' sir. The disciples of Christ were called Christians for being like Christ (Acts 11:19-30). I follow their teachings and examples because they were Christians. If Peter and co were 'Catholic Christians' as you erroneously infer, they would have preached salvation through other names apart from that of Christ (Acts 4:10-12), they would have been bowing to images of 'Mary', they would have preached Purgatory, they would have been paying for indulgences and praying for the dead, they would have asked angels and the dead 'saints' to pray for them, they would have observed oracular confessions, Apostle Peter wouldn't have married, they would have baptized infants etc in the manner of the present day Roman Catholics. Apostle Peter and co did not practice such, so they were not Roman Catholics. They were simply Christians following the footsteps of Christ, Our Saviour and Lord. Thanks.
this is the question I asked you... stop dodging

Nice one. I admire your honesty on the dark history of the catholic church
if there is a community that has humans and existed even for as little as 200 years, I won't be surprised if those humans made serious mistakes not to talk of when they've existed for over a millennia.

that popes, bishops priest, deacons and even Christians in general sometimes fall from grace and into sin is a fact... it cannot be denied... and I'll be stupid if I attempt to deny that truth.

UnchangeableGod:
OK sir. Let me believe you are sincere. The Church Christ established started with the twelve, then the seventy, then one hundred and twenty at the Upper Room when the Holy Spirit descended at Pentecost. Then the sermon of Apostle Peter led to the addition of about three thousand souls. Then persecution broke out with Stephen being stoned to death and the disciples (the Church) was scattered and they went everywhere preaching the word as instructed by Christ. Then came the conversion of Saul of Tarsus who spearheaded the preaching of the gospel to the Gentiles (though Peter was the first to reach out to Cornelius and some other Gentiles following the revelation he got from God). On and on until the gospel got to us. My point is that the Church of Christ did not have any denominational tag. It comprises of all who have encountered Christ's saving grace and have surrendered to His will alone and continue in His word. Today, we have members of the universal Church - all those whose names are in the Lamb's Book of Life and who are abiding in His word scattered across several denominations. But one common denominator among the real Christians who are members of the true Church (not a particular denomination) is complete allegiance to Christ and His word. Those who call Him "Lord, Lord" but do not obey His word as contained on the Scriptures are not members of His Church irrespective of their denominations (Luke 6:46). We were all born into sin by nature and have been sinners by choice but Christ came to save, deliver and rescue us from sin and it's consequences. If a sinner repents from sin and disobedience and turns to Christ as Saviour, such will be forgiven, cleansed and saved with his/her name written in the Book of life and automatically becomes a member of Christ's universal Church. Such a one will be hungry for the truth and thus will desire the sincere milk of the word so as to grow (1st Peter 2:1-3). Such a saved soul will not want to have anything with sin of any form, idol worship, syncretism, falsehood, hypocrisy or deception. Like begets like. The Spirit of truth in the such a Christian will draw him/her to only where the truth of Scriptures is taught and where the leaders and the majority are apparently living by the undiluted truth. As he/she learns the truth, he/she will be convicted of his sins/her and errors. He/she will not argue or debate with the word. He/she will simply repent of his/her ignorance and make immediate amends. This is what happened to me some 18 years ago. It is not for me to direct anyone where to go. Let the Spirit of God direct you. Thank you.

Very nice to talk with you again Uben-In speech none of you Catholic's mentioned Peter was married, I suppose Peters wife would be like another Joseph, no-one mentions the roles they played. I am sure your bible also say's, but if they cannot control themselves, for it is better to marry then to burn {1 Corinthians 7:9}
My bible also contains, He who marries a virgin does right, but he who does not marry her, does better {1 Corinthians 7:38}
But which of these verses does the Church actually stand by?
While the world contains religious men and women, that burn with passion, not only for the opposite sex, as young as 7 to 70 years, man and woman sexually abusing 1 to 16 year old children; "this just shows these men and woman are not grounded enough in the Word of God to be single ministers.
And if Peter is the first Pope, why than didn't the Church follow after his good examples, obviously Peter knew how difficult it could be standing alone for Christ in Church, these days women go for those in authority rather than those who are not, "why do Pope's priest pastors feel they are ordained to take their needs as far as their limits can go? This does not give us a good reason for these Ministers to continual to live alone, ministers such as these are not strong in the Word of God..
Pope's priest pastors that have these desires should marry, Adam needed Eve visa versa-Adam was the first Minister, Peter followed Adams good examples, I also follow them, "Ministers have needs like Adam, we all burn with passion, this would help support this generation to know marrying the opposite sex, is not a crime against humanity, nor is it against God Almighty Himself. "Marriage can save a multitude of sexual behaviour of wrong doing.
If the Church had Jesus's skills, in keeping His control without sin, I would agree-none burn with passion, Adam was made to multiply, same as the animals two of every kind "Male and female.
no Catholic has denied peter was married.

the Catholic Church simply agrees with scriptures when she teaches that to be unmarried is better in other to serve God.

if you cannot stay unmarried after you had previously made up your mind to do so...then there is a way to ask to be married.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by Ubenedictus(m): 6:41pm On Oct 30, 2017
this is what the Catholic Church believes. enjoy

THE CHURCH - PEOPLE OF GOD
781 "At all times and in every race, anyone who fears
God and does what is right has been acceptable to him.
He has, however, willed to make men holy and save
them, not as individuals without any bond or link
between them, but rather to make them into a people
who might acknowledge him and serve him in holiness.
He therefore chose the Israelite race to be his own
people and established a covenant with it. He gradually
instructed this people. . . . All these things, however,
happened as a preparation for and figure of that new and
perfect covenant which was to be ratified in Christ . . .
the New Covenant in his blood; he called together a race
made up of Jews and Gentiles which would be one, not
according to the flesh, but in the Spirit." 201
Characteristics of the People of God
782 The People of God is marked by characteristics that
clearly distinguish it from all other religious, ethnic,
political, or cultural groups found in history:
- It is the People of God : God is not the property of any
one people. But he acquired a people for himself from
those who previously were not a people: "a chosen race,
a royal priesthood, a holy nation." 202
- One becomes a member of this people not by a physical
birth, but by being "born anew," a birth "of water and the
Spirit," 203 that is, by faith in Christ, and Baptism.
- This People has for its Head Jesus the Christ (the
anointed, the Messiah). Because the same anointing, the
Holy Spirit, flows from the head into the body, this is
"the messianic people."
- "The status of this people is that of the dignity and
freedom of the sons of God, in whose hearts the Holy
Spirit dwells as in a temple."
- "Its law is the new commandment to love as Christ
loved us." 204 This is the "new" law of the Holy Spirit.205
- Its mission is to be salt of the earth and light of the
world. 206 This people is "a most sure seed of unity,
hope, and salvation for the whole human race."
- Its destiny , finally, "is the Kingdom of God which has
been begun by God himself on earth and which must be
further extended until it has been brought to perfection
by him at the end of time." 207
A priestly, prophetic, and royal people
783 Jesus Christ is the one whom the Father anointed
with the Holy Spirit and established as priest, prophet,
and king. The whole People of God participates in these
three offices of Christ and bears the responsibilities for
mission and service that flow from them.208
784 On entering the People of God through faith and
Baptism, one receives a share in this people's unique,
priestly vocation: "Christ the Lord, high priest taken from
among men, has made this new people 'a kingdom of
priests to God, his Father.' The baptized, by regeneration
and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, are consecrated to be
a spiritual house and a holy priesthood." 209
785 "The holy People of God shares also in Christ's
prophetic office," above all in the supernatural sense of
faith that belongs to the whole People, lay and clergy,
when it "unfailingly adheres to this faith . . . once for all
delivered to the saints," 210 and when it deepens its
understanding and becomes Christ's witness in the midst
of this world.
786 Finally, the People of God shares in the royal office
of Christ. He exercises his kingship by drawing all men
to himself through his death and Resurrection. 211 Christ,
King and Lord of the universe, made himself the servant
of all, for he came "not to be served but to serve, and to
give his life as a ransom for many." 212 For the Christian,
"to reign is to serve him," particularly when serving "the
poor and the suffering, in whom the Church recognizes
the image of her poor and suffering founder." 213 The
People of God fulfills its royal dignity by a life in keeping
with its vocation to serve with Christ.
The sign of the cross makes kings of all those reborn in
Christ and the anointing of the Holy Spirit consecrates
them as priests, so that, apart from the particular service
of our ministry, all spiritual and rational Christians are
recognized as members of this royal race and sharers in
Christ's priestly office. What, indeed, is as royal for a soul
as to govern the body in obedience to God? And what is
as priestly as to dedicate a pure conscience to the Lord
and to offer the spotless offerings of devotion on the
altar of the heart? 214
II. THE CHURCH - BODY OF CHRIST
The Church is communion with Jesus
787 From the beginning, Jesus associated his disciples
with his own life, revealed the mystery of the Kingdom to
them, and gave them a share in his mission, joy, and
sufferings.215 Jesus spoke of a still more intimate
communion between him and those who would follow
him: "Abide in me, and I in you. . . . I am the vine, you
are the branches." 216 And he proclaimed a mysterious
and real communion between his own body and ours:
"He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in
me, and I in him." 217
788 When his visible presence was taken from them,
Jesus did not leave his disciples orphans. He promised
to remain with them until the end of time; he sent them
his Spirit.218 As a result communion with Jesus has
become, in a way, more intense: "By communicating his
Spirit, Christ mystically constitutes as his body those
brothers of his who are called together from every
nation." 219
789 The comparison of the Church with the body casts
light on the intimate bond between Christ and his
Church. Not only is she gathered around him; she is
united in him, in his body. Three aspects of the Church
as the Body of Christ are to be more specifically noted:
the unity of all her members with each other as a result
of their union with Christ; Christ as head of the Body;
and the Church as bride of Christ.
"One Body"
790 Believers who respond to God's word and become
members of Christ's Body, become intimately united with
him: "In that body the life of Christ is communicated to
those who believe, and who, through the sacraments,
are united in a hidden and real way to Christ in his
Passion and glorification." 220 This is especially true of
Baptism, which unites us to Christ's death and
Resurrection, and the Eucharist, by which "really sharing
in the body of the Lord, . . . we are taken up into
communion with him and with one another." 221
791 The body's unity does not do away with the diversity
of its members: "In the building up of Christ's Body there
is engaged a diversity of members and functions. There
is only one Spirit who, according to his own richness and
the needs of the ministries, gives his different gifts for
the welfare of the Church." 222 The unity of the Mystical
Body produces and stimulates charity among the
faithful: "From this it follows that if one member suffers
anything, all the members suffer with him, and if one
member is honored, all the members together
rejoice." 223 Finally, the unity of the Mystical Body
triumphs over all human divisions: "For as many of you
as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is
neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free,
there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in
Christ Jesus." 224

"Christ is the Head of this Body"
792 Christ "is the head of the body, the Church." 225 He
is the principle of creation and redemption. Raised to the
Father's glory, "in everything he [is] preeminent," 226
especially in the Church, through whom he extends his
reign over all things.
793 Christ unites us with his Passover: all his members
must strive to resemble him, "until Christ be formed" in
them.227 "For this reason we . . . are taken up into the
mysteries of his life, . . . associated with his sufferings
as the body with its head, suffering with him, that with
him we may be glorified." 228
794 Christ provides for our growth : to make us grow
toward him, our head, 229 he provides in his Body, the
Church, the gifts and assistance by which we help one
another along the way of salvation.
795 Christ and his Church thus together make up the
"whole Christ" (Christus totus ). The Church is one with
Christ. The saints are acutely aware of this unity:
Let us rejoice then and give thanks that we have become
not only Christians, but Christ himself. Do you
understand and grasp, brethren, God's grace toward us?
Marvel and rejoice: we have become Christ. For if he is
the head, we are the members; he and we together are
the whole man. . . . The fullness of Christ then is the
head and the members. But what does "head and
members" mean? Christ and the Church. 230
Our redeemer has shown himself to be one person with
the holy Church whom he has taken to himself.231
Head and members form as it were one and the same
mystical person. 232]
A reply of St. Joan of Arc to her judges sums up the
faith of the holy doctors and the good sense of the
believer: "About Jesus Christ and the Church, I simply
know they're just one thing, and we shouldn't
complicate the matter." 233
The Church is the Bride of Christ
796 The unity of Christ and the Church, head and
members of one Body, also implies the distinction of the
two within a personal relationship. This aspect is often
expressed by the image of bridegroom and bride. The
theme of Christ as Bridegroom of the Church was
prepared for by the prophets and announced by John the
Baptist. 234 The Lord referred to himself as the
"bridegroom." 235 The Apostle speaks of the whole
Church and of each of the faithful, members of his
Body, as a bride "betrothed" to Christ the Lord so as to
become but one spirit with him. 236 The Church is the
spotless bride of the spotless Lamb. 237 "Christ loved the
Church and gave himself up for her, that he might
sanctify her." 238 He has joined her with himself in an
everlasting covenant and never stops caring for her as
for his own body: 239
This is the whole Christ, head and body, one formed
from many . . . whether the head or members speak, it is
Christ who speaks. He speaks in his role as the head (ex
persona capitis ) and in his role as body ( ex persona
corporis ). What does this mean? "The two will become
one flesh. This is a great mystery, and I am applying it to
Christ and the Church." 240 And the Lord himself says in
the Gospel: "So they are no longer two, but one
flesh." 241 They are, in fact, two different persons, yet
they are one in the conjugal union, . . . as head, he calls
himself the bridegroom, as body, he calls himself "bride." 242
III. THE CHURCH IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
797 "What the soul is to the human body, the Holy Spirit
is to the Body of Christ, which is the Church." 243 "To
this Spirit of Christ, as an invisible principle, is to be
ascribed the fact that all the parts of the body are joined
one with the other and with their exalted head; for the
whole Spirit of Christ is in the head, the whole Spirit is in
the body, and the whole Spirit is in each of the
members." 244 The Holy Spirit makes the Church "the
temple of the living God": 245
Indeed, it is to the Church herself that the "Gift of God"
has been entrusted. . . . In it is in her that communion
with Christ has been deposited, that is to say: the Holy
Spirit, the pledge of incorruptibility, the strengthening of
our faith and the ladder of our ascent to God. . . . For
where the Church is, there also is God's Spirit; where
God's Spirit is, there is the Church and every grace. 246
798 The Holy Spirit is "the principle of every vital and
truly saving action in each part of the Body." 247 He
works in many ways to build up the whole Body in
charity: 248 by God's Word "which is able to build you
up"; 249 by Baptism, through which he forms Christ's
Body; 250 by the sacraments, which give growth and
healing to Christ's members; by "the grace of the
apostles, which holds first place among his gifts";251 by
the virtues, which make us act according to what is
good; finally, by the many special graces (called
"charisms"wink, by which he makes the faithful "fit and
ready to undertake various tasks and offices for the
renewal and building up of the Church.

Christianity Etc › Re: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by Ubenedictus(m): 6:26pm On Oct 30, 2017
brocab:
In the Catholic Church is the Pope class as the head of the Church, or is he, head of the woman just like Jesus ordain him to be! Or is he just part of the authority under the Roman Catholic Church?
The New Testament make it clear who the head of the church is, Jesus Christ. {Colossians 1:17–18} teaches, “And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church.” This passage makes a brief comparison between the human body and the church. The church is the body, and Jesus is the head. Jesus was before all things and holds all things together. This includes the church as well. so what do you believe, is the Pope the head of the Catholic Church, or is he just another priest pastor, who have taken on the authority God had given him.
Just think if the Pope decided to be married, his wife would be Queen Mother of God, she would be the first lady to the nations, she would be another Mary living to bring the world together.
In the bible {Ephesians 5:22–25} speaks of the relationship between husband and wife and includes the teaching of Jesus as head of the church: If Pope's, priest married, just think, the world will be a better place.

“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”

In this passage, wives are to submit to their husbands as the church submits to Christ, and husbands are to sacrificially love their wives in the way Christ was willing to die for the church. In this context, Jesus is called the “head of the church, his body.” He is also called its Savior.

What does it mean to be the head of the church? Both {Colossians 1 and Ephesians 5} emphasize the leadership of Christ and His power. In Colossians, Christ is head because He holds all things together. In Ephesians, Christ is head because He is Savior.

The implications of this teaching are profound. First, church leaders are to surrender ultimate leadership to the Lord Jesus Christ. {John 5:43} Jesus said: I have come in My Fathers name, and you do not accept Me, but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. I have seen the Pope in action, he had come in his own name, and people glorify him as God on earth.
Jesus is the One who leads and determines the teachings and practices of the church. Church members are to follow Christ first and earthly leaders second, as those leaders are suppose to emulate Christ (see 1 Corinthians 11:1 and 1 Peter 5:3–4)

Second, the love Jesus has for the church is expressed in His desire that we also love the church. The church is not a building or organization like the Vatican-or any Church that was built by men in this matter, but a group of people who know and worship Jesus. Christians are taught, “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing because of the disagreements we have with other Churches, but encouraging one another, it shouldn't matter which Church we belong too, as long as we follow the same doctrines and worship the same Christ—and all the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:24–25) Regular connection with other believers honors the Lord, encourages us personally as believers, and allows us to encourage and serve others.

While every church will have its own local leaders, Pope's have leaderships-but the ultimate leader of any church is the Lord Jesus. He said, “I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18, emphasis added); it belongs to Him. He is the head of the body and the only One with the power to adequately lead and love the church.
don't twist Catholic beliefs. the Catholic teaches that the head of the Church is Jesus... the pope is but a minister of jesus

Sir, your request is a needless distraction. There have always been true and false Christians in every era. Knowing the names of the members of the true or fake Church is inconsequential. What matters is that the true ones obey the Lord only and they are the Church of Christ while the fake/backslidden ones follow their own devises/the doctrines of men. They are married to the world system. They engage in syncretism and other unscriptural practices. They may arrogate any title to themselves but "by their fruits ye shall know them" and "any anyone that mentions the name of the Lord must depart from iniquity" (Matthew 7:15-20; 2nd Timothy 2:19). You have a choice to repent, stop defending the falsehood in the apostate Roman Catholic Church and come out from among them for your eternal good. Thanks.
it is not a needless distraction.

If you claim the real Church is different from the Catholic Church and exists till our time, then it follows that you should be able to show us these real Christians all through the centuries.

uben you call my showing you to be wrong as being: " jumping from one topic to another"
but that's what i do, show you wrong in most every post to you, so what else could you a liar say
hehehe....and through out the thread you have been contradicting both Jesus and the historic Christian faith like the young Protestant heretics you are.

duh, christians read the writings of peter paul and the others
long before the satanic roman catholic church was formed

you refer to rc's as pagan, but anyway they certinally are not christian
and i'm not interisted in searching for you: "when the protestant canonised their own new testament",
do the search yourself, it makes no diffrence at all to what i said except in your own blinded mind:

2Co_4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
after claiming you guys made your own new testament.... why am I not surprised you can't prove it.

the usual Protestant package... make claims you can't back up.

uben, i told you: "i have no problem with paul and the other apostles being priests of God"
and you replied: first you say there are no priesthood in the new testament. now I have proven you wrong and you have diverted into another thing.

uben you have proven nothing, except your confusion

then uben, you again falsely accuse: "it must be confusing for you after you attacked the priesthood only to find its in the Bible"

truly there was no attack on anything, just a showing of the truth

that above which you posted uben, i copied and pasted from a christian website, which you know,
you kept accusing of copying and pasting, as if there is something wrong with that

christians are kings and priests in Christ, it is not the priesthood of the old testament

the writer of the above, that you posted, gave bible verses supporting the points made,
give me your twisted meanings of those bible verses,
and i will show you again where you are wrong
your copy and paste claims there is no priesthood, now you remember every Christian is a priest, then you forgot Paul talks of a specific ministerial priesthood

i never said that at all, i said Jesus flesh isn't physical food,
you lie and make false claims in most every post:

Joh_8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
hehehe yeah you mean his flesh isn't real food, it is figurative food or better metaphorical food.

you call Jesus a liar simply because of Calvin's 16th century heresy.

what does it matter that many words have many diffrent meanings,
the meaning of brethren in the verses i posted are so very clear, except to a
heathen, which you uben and other rc's are:
Mat_6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
lol, you think your meaning is correct because you adopted them from 19th century heretics, even the original 16th century Protestant think your opinion on this issue is wrong.

you are the heathen here, and also ignorant that you follow an end time heresy.

Even in English it does not mean the opposite happened. It only means the opposite didn't happen within the time frame specified( i.e before the birth of Jesus) . Afterwards ?? The writers were definitely not bothered about that.

UnchangeableGod:
Your error sir, is to continue equating the Church Christ made mention of with the Roman Catholic Church. The gates of hell will never prevail against the Church - those who are saved and washed in the blood of the Lamb and continue in His word (John 8:32-36). Individuals can and do backslide but the Church continues. God will never leave Himself without witnesses in every generation. It is only God that is indispensable. Well, you can continue in your delusion of equating the Church Christ referred to with the idol worshiping, syncretic, falsehood-filled Roman Catholic Church. Inadvatently, you are associating Christ my Saviour and Lord, Who never sinned and will never sin with image worship, deceptive Purgatory doctrine, infant baptism, oracular confession, the doctrine of forced celibacy, praying through dead people, praying for the dead, praying through angels and other false doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church. Christ and His true Church CAN NEVER be associated with such evils. The Roman Church of today is an apostate Church. Christ warned a lot of Churches in the book of Revelations to repent from their backslidden state or face divine judgment (Revelations 2:4-7; 3:15-18). Christ's Church is not an apostate one. Try as much as you can sir, but you cannot robe my Saviour into your apostate Church. You either come out from among them or remain there. The choice is yours. Thanks.
sir kindly tell me the members of this Church from the 2nd to 10 century

Hmm. Even when the Bible says "But knew her not until she had given birth to her firstborn son" (Matt. 1:25). This simply means that Joseph eventually slept with his wife after Jesus birth. Plain!

Also, the phrase "her firstborn son" is an indication that there were other children of Mary thereafter. Again, such plain verses like Matthew 13:55 makes it obvious. But sadly enough, the Catholics will always ridiculously claim that Mary was a pepectual virgin.

Anyways, abeg spread the good news about mother Jael, most blessed among women. Jael ti take over...
if you were conversant with Greek you would know that the term until doesn't necessarily imply that the opposite happened after.

firstborn is the legal term the Jews use to refer to a child that opens the womb it doesn't imply that there exist a second or third born.
an only son is also a firstborn.

Have you also thought of honoring Jael too, she's most blessed of women you know, much more than Mary?
just as you called her the most blessed among tent women you just honored her, unfortunately for Jael she didn't give birth to God in the flesh.

Yes. mary was blessed, highly favoured amongst women. Then that's just about it. I respect moses, david, deborah for their qualities which God must have seen in them, to make them worthy Vessels. But I can't understand, aren't you suppose to honour Jesus Himself? the one who paid the ultimate price, who is sitted on the Right hand of God? Is mary part of the trinity? should she share in the Glory of our Creator?
so you honor Mary but you condemn Catholics for honoring her because you don't like the way they do so?

or you honour Mary but want everyone to honor Jesus more?

Sorry sir, maybe you need to study your bible more. Mary had other children. Are you even saying after Jesus's birth, that Joseph didn't copulate with mary? chai

p.s nl why are you even censoring a normal word like co.pulate to reproduce??
there is no where in the Bible where anyone but Jesus is called a child of Mary.

What makes you think those in the first pic are worshiping their ancestors and not honoring them just like those in the second pichuh
because worship is the action of the will not necessarily the position of the body.

if some is kneeling in front of my mum,3 things are possible.

1. my mum punished the person. maybe a kid.

2. the person is showing honour.

3. the person may mistake my beautiful mum for a goddess and is worshipping her.

how do I know which is it? I ask the person...

if you ask the people in those 2 pictures, the first will tell you the image he prostrating before is god and he is worshiping.

the 2nd will tell you the image he is kneeling before is but an artistic depiction of Mary that he uses as a visual reminder, he will inform you that the image is just an image and it is sinful to worship it. he is simply in a prayer position in front of a religious image.

ask them that is how you know

yes i do, and i know that concerning Jesus and James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas
God's word is referring to them being literally brothers

Mat 13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
Mat 13:56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

and i also know uben that you know next to nothing, and don't believe God.
that same word is also translated kinsmen

never prayed to deceased people or had statues - idols etc. etc. etc.
so how come it is impossible to find a Christian worship place from 1st to 16th century that didn't have images?

and yes every early Christian worship place had images, I don't just believe the apostles would used images... even archeology says same.

uben oh blinded one, God certainly did tell samuel that He God is a rock:
2Sa_22:32 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?

of course God is not a literal rock, but is our strength, a stronghold for believers:
2Sa 22:2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

2Ti_3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

God is not a literal rock, and rcc wafer and wine is not Jesus physical body and physical blood to be physically eaten
and drank, smiley

rcc is full of lies and confusion, no understanding

it's hard to believe that even rc's can believe those things are literal

Jesus certinally was saying the truth,
and Jesus certinally was speaking figuratively

no one has actually eaten Jesus physical flesh,
or drank Jesus physical blood,

you uben, obviouslt cannot understand much at all of God's word

when Jesus said, do this in rememberance of me, he was saying to gather together,
to eat and drink, that's what they were doing, and to share their faith in Jesus

when Jesus said, do this in rememberance of me, He wasn't saying, give the people
a thin dry wafer of bread and tell them it's my literal body for them to eat
hahaha.

Jesus said my flesh is real food.

johnw74 says no Jesus flesh isn't real food

what more can we expect from followers of 16th century heretics
