God did, He also said you rc's and other image lovers, hate Him:
(Deu 5:8] Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
(Deu 5:9) Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

if true, they were obviously christian sects led away from the truth,
just as the rcc is led away, and into lies by their god satan

THE PRIESTHOOD
The Roman Catholic Church teaches that Jesus
Christ ordained the twelve apostles to the priesthood
at the Last Supper and that the powers of the
priesthood were handed down during the past two
thousand years. This teaching is clearly contrary to
the Word of God.
In the Old Testament the work of Christ was
prefigured under the three offices of prophet, priest
and king. The nation of Israel had each office. With
the coming of Christ each of these offices found its
fulfillment in Him. Thus in the New Testament there
is no need for a human sacrificing priesthood.
John 19:30. It is consummated.
I Timothy 2:5. There is one God, and one
Mediator...Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 7:24. Because he continues forever, has an
everlasting (non-transferable, intransmissible)
priesthood.
Hebrews 7:25. He lives always to make intercession.
Hebrews 7:27. He does not need to offer sacrifices
daily.
Hebrews 9:12. Having obtained eternal redemption.
Hebrews 10:10. We have been sanctified through the
offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
I Corinthians 12:28. God indeed has placed some in
the Church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly
teachers... (no mention of sacramental priests) .
Ephesians 4:11. He Himself gave some men as
apostles, and some as prophets, others again as
evangelists, and others as pastors and teachers...
(again no mention of sacramental priests) .
I Peter 5:1-3. I, your fellow-presbyter and witness...
(Nothing about being a priest) .
The office of priest is not the same as minister. The
concept of a mediating, sacrificing priesthood
originated and developed under Cyprian, the
theological authority in the West until the time of
Augustine, and was part of the merger of paganism
with Christianity. Nowhere in the Scriptures will on
find evidence of a mediating, sacrificing priesthood
after Christ.

UnchangeableGod:
No sir. The Catholic Church backslid at a point in time. Point of correction: The Catholic Church never wrote the Bible. No Church did. Holy and obedient Individual Christians, who were inspired by the Holy Spirit did. The true believers who authored the books of the Bible were never involved in idolatry of bowing down to carved or molten images, removal of the 2nd Commandment, worshiping or praying through 'Mary', praying through dead 'saints', oracular confessions, teaching of inexistent Purgatory, infant baptism (by sprinkling of water), praying for the dead, forcing the clergy not to marry, paying for indulgences etc. If any of the writers was involved in any of the above, he or she was a backslider and God is not a respecter of anybody. So stop mixing things up and stop misrepresenting the faithful writers of the Bible and justifying errors. I read and believe the Bible irrespective of who compiled it. I read and believe it because it is the word of God. I have personal proofs in my life that it is indeed the word of God. The issue remains that the Roman Catholic Church with all these unscriptural and ungodly practises is not a Bible believing Church. May the Lord open your eyes as He opened mine I J N, Amen.
the Church of Christ can never backslide, unless you don't believe in Jesus who clearly said the gates of hell will never prevail... the Church by nature cannot backslide.... I'm not just telling you it didn't happen I'm telling it cannot happen, Jesus told us so.

if this Church is pagan as you claim then Jesus lied and hell took over, then hell compiled your new testament, which mean your bible is pagan.

that is the natural conclusion from your claim. pagans can only canonise pagan scriptures.

Uben this is a change from you, some centuries ago, you denied Peter even having a wife.
Popes priest pastors that married obeyed the law of Christ, a marriage can do wonders it can help support their ministries.
Paul said: if we burn with passion it is best to get married, as humans we all burn with passions for the opposite sex. Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.
Every minister travelling the world should be married, Men alone preaching the Word of God-can cause problems in the community, especially around women.
Unmarried Pope's, that burn with passion should be married, there are to many wrongs in the world with priest not married, and to make a vow with God-doesn't give anybody the rights to burn in passion for the wrong reasons.
Within the Governments we have the first lady, she of course has the countries full respect, Just think how life could be, if the Pope decided to marry, from a wife-mothers heart, the lost will be found, the hungry will eat, the thirsty will drink, the strangers will no longer be strangers, the sick will get well, those in prison will be released.
Everything you all have expected Mary to be, will finely come alive in the natural.
I never denied peter was once married... after him so were many priest... we still have such.

but sorry I disagree with the epistle you wrote above.

my Bible says he who marries does well but he who doesn't does better... it goes further to say it is better to be single so as to be devoted to Christ and describes marriage as a distraction... so the Catholic Church is happy to also have celibate clergy.

DoctorAlien:
Stop playingaround with the word "catholic". You are not deceiving anybody.

The word catholic literally means "universal," as in "the universal church." It originally was applied to all Christians because we are all part of the universal church in the way that we are all members of the Body of Christ. The Latin word is catholicus, and in Greek it is katholikos, from the Greek phrase meaning "on the whole, according to the whole or in general." The word in English can mean "including a wide variety of things; all-embracing," or "of the Roman Catholic faith," or "relating to the historic doctrine and practice of the Western Church.”

Catholic was first used to describe the Christian Church in the early 2nd century to emphasize its universal scope. The term has been incorporated into the name of the largest Christian communion, the Roman Catholic Church, which consists of 23 churches sui iuris, in full communion with the Bishop of Rome. The largest of these, the Latin Rite consists of nearly 95 percent of the population of the Catholic Church. The remaining 5 percent consist of the 22 Eastern Catholic Churches. Some Protestant churches use the term "catholic Church" to refer broadly to all believers in Jesus Christ across the world and the ages, regardless of denominational affiliation. Generally, to avoid confusion between this concept and the Roman Catholic Church, theologians will refer to the “universal church” as the “church catholic,” utilizing the lower case, instead of “Catholic Church.”

The Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Anglican, and Lutheran, and some Methodists declare that their churches are catholic in the sense that they are in continuity with the original universal church founded by the apostles. The Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Oriental Orthodox churches all believe that their church is the only original and universal church. Catholicity is considered one of Four Marks of the Church, the others being unity, sanctity, and apostolicity according to the Nicene Creed of 381: "I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church." It is crucially important to remember, though, that when the early Christians used the term “catholic,” they were not referring to any particular church, denomination, rite, or communion. They were simply referring to all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Source: https://www.gotquestions.org/Catholic-meaning-definition.html
sorry dear, when the early Christian used the word Catholic Church they used it to refer to those who had the same faith with them and excluded the heretics.

do you share same faith with the Church fathers?

The Catholic Church claims it was the apostle Peter who started the Catholic Church, they say he became their Pope?
I have argued this out with my wife who is a Catholic, also with other Catholic's, whom they find an avenue to escape this Question, only to hide oneself in the closet.
Pope's in their religion are not allowed to marry and yet the apostle Peter was married in scripture.

Matthew 8:14 When Jesus came into Peters house He saw His mother in law laying in bed with a fever.

So can someone point out to me which Peter, the Catholic Church are talking about. As I have asked many Catholic's other then my wife-and the response I retrieved was cursing and mocking etc.

Calling me a non Christian the devil himself has risen.
so you aren't aware that many popes were married? so were many bishops and even today you may find married priest?

of course peter was married so were others after him.

And lol
as usual journalist sometimes talk about things they don't know about.

there is a battle in the Church but it isn't about doctrine it is about practices.

both Pope Francis and any perceived opposition agrees that marriage is between man and woman for life... they all agree divorce and remarriage is a sin....

Francis says if the remarried person is repentant but can't remedy his situation then let his priest and him decide if he may receive communion... at least that is how many interpret the controversial footnote.

the other group says the fruit of repentance is a changed life and the remarried person should leave his sinful marriage in other to receive communion.

the Pope can't make laws through a footnote which means whatever the footnote says can be rejected....

it offers a dicy situation but has nothing to do with doctrine.

The person yoy quoted never mentioned any name. So you affirmed it yourself that the Catholic Church is fake. Sir, enough of this Catholic Church compiled the Bible stuff. What if they did? Are there not people who preached and converted others, yet backslid and went to hell while their converts made it to heaven? Is it not a cause for concern that the same Catholic Church you claim compiled the Bible is going against what they 'compiled'? Will God become partial and allow Catholics to enter heaven in spite of their false unscriptural practices just because they 'compiled' the Bible? Don't you think you should rather mourn and repent instead of gloating over the historical achievements of an apostate 'Church'?
actually the person I quoted called many names.

this isn't about people who preached and converted others and then backslide. this is about the Catholic Church, what she believe today is the same things she believe then.

if she is fake now then she was fake then,if she is pagan now she was then....that means you are using a pagan new testament.. unless you are using a different new testament from the one the Church canonized then you're using a pagan Bible.

secondly who told you every Christian practice must be found in the Bible?

the Church existed before the Bible and the new testament was never written to catalog every Christian practice....so why do you think the new testament which was written after the Church for the Church must contain all Christian practice?

lastly the Church Jesus founded canon apostatize, Jesus already promised that the gates of hell will never prevail against her.

Explain.
it simple...

Jesus died, rose and ascended... he sent his apostles and gave them the holy spirit, they became leaders of the early Church... this church has power to teach to bind to lose etc, where ever the apostles preached they appointed presbyter and bishops and entrust both their teaching and authority to them.

by the year 100AD all the apostles were dead... nobody had a complete new testament but the Church continued... even in 200AD and 300AD because teaching authority had always been in the Church... finally in the 3rd and 4th century the church decided to set the canon of the new testament. then we began to have the Bible... this church continued till this day. in 40AD it was called the way, by 70AD her members were called Christians by 110AD it was called the Catholic Church...it is still called the Catholic Church today.

So just give it a break!! or who are u really trying to convince? maybe its urself

Final note to jagunlabi and company. why are u pple so ionterested in hacking the bible and bible-belivers. let us hold un to our "illusion" in peace since u r so convinced we are wasting our time. Get a life
