Romance › Re: She's Divorced But She's In Love With Me, Should I Forge Ahead With Her? by UDUJ(m): 4:38am On Apr 13, 2018 |
Jonah1234: Hi Nairalanders, this is my story. A long time family friend was dating her back then in school (tertiary). It happens that she's secretly admiring me which I didn't noticed. However, this family friend is my elder brother's friend so I don't joke with the girl at all, so I don't disrespect him but the girl in question I am older than her. It happens that he runs a studio and I do go there to take care of some things anytime he is not around. As fate may have it, he was going to travel for a week for a job interview he gave me the house keys which part of it is also a studio and told me the girl will be staying at her place since she has been staying with him off campus.
I was very surprised to find the girl at home around 9pm when I was about to sleep. We started gisting late into the night and when it was close to 11pm I told her I was going back to my family house but she refused. I slept there, but before then she told me she has quit her relationship with my friend. She tried all she could so we could helped each other that night, but I told her I respect my friend I wouldn't do that with her. She later graduated and we lost contact for close to 7years. My family friend got married to another girl. She somehow got my contact and that same week she was about getting married too, which she did. The problem is that the husband is abusing her physically by beating her because she was fighting a side chick the husband brought back home. She had to quit the marriage by divorcing him. She sent me some pictures of her wounded face from several punches from him. I couldn't keep the pictures I deleted them. Now she wants me into her life. Would it be wrong if I forge ahead with her? Is there anything wrong to marry a divorced woman? Please, no insult mature advice. Thanks Dude there's absolutely nothing wrong with marrying a divorcee. As long as she is legally divorced she is available. But watch carefully, make sure she is not carrying any emotional baggage that she ends up dumping on you in future. Watch and observe. Don't be in a haste to nuptials. |

RuthDaniels: Lol...Thanks
Yes, financial responsibilities should be shared. That is why they are help mates,to assist each other. I personally hate full housewives and detest the educated full housewives. What's the years and struggles in university for. Even a woman is married to a rich man, I believe she should still have a source of income and cater for some needs in the house. That shows she's alive and existing and not some decorative doll in life.
Lol It is a 70-30 ratio in my family, Dad earns more so he pays more. When I was in school (Uni) Dad paid school fees, monthly allowance while Mum handled Accommodation and handouts. At the end of the fest, both had a lot to save. That's how it should be, no one's account should be drained for the other. I wasn't trained to be a distress damsel waiting for her knight, I was trained to be a queen to rule, a Fisher, and I love it. I don't don't even feel comfortable when someone caters for all my needs, I feel like a burden I couldn't agree with you more |

RuthDaniels: Nairaland guys are hypocrites and donstan18 is the biggest of them all. Oh see how he listed what a woman should think/create threads about, I never knew he was that intelligent to come up with areas one should focus on, but his seasonal reasoning never allowed him to type these things to guys here. 99% of threads created by guys here revolves around Women /pussy but you will never see our brainy donstan advice/caution them.Talk about double standards. Things people do for likes though
The thread is a nice one, do not settle for less. Good for your dream man and pursue your happiness but while at it, remember life is all about balance. Do not set your standards too high,There is a thin line between illusion and reality. Sometimes you have to let go of some things to get others. Be ready to compromise Always love reading your comments. One of the wise ones If both the husband and the wife make the exact same income a 50/50 split would work, Very rarely do couples earn the exact same wage. Whoever earns more should pay more.
My dad paid all the bills. My mom’s salary went to groceries and most times our (the kids) clothes. He earned more but she contributed what she could.

mikeweezy: My rent got expired on the 6th of last month, The next day my landlady came knocking on my door asking for the rent or i should pack out if i wont paid in 3days time so i quickly put a call to my Landlord cos him reside and work in another state to help talk to his wife and give me Little time as a good man him is he ask me to pay when ever i have the money as old tenant .... So yesterday i got the money and i went straight to pay the rent to his wife when i got there the door was not well lock so i knock no one answer and i push the door and enter maybe she will be busy @ the kitchen but suddenly i stater hearing some funny noise from one of the room & i walk slowly took out my phone put it on video and behold my landlord wife with one of my good neighbor was busy enjoying they self after some video coverage i took off ,as soon as i get home she send my neighbor to come and ask me for the rent if not she will bring another person in the next day so i tell him not to worry,So i call my landlady and i told her that i was at her place with the money but she was busy and i even came in but them never notice .......she ask me if i see anything i say i don't know she asking me to let go of the House rent lets talk but i feel like informing the husband cos his such a Goodman Bro listen carefully. Your life is in danger if you continue living in that house. The woman can arrange for thugs to off you at any given time because of the fact you could reveal the secret to the husband. My advice: Pack out of the house and show the evidence to the husband as soon as you pack out. Yes you heard right- expose the cheat to the husband as soon as you're safely out of that house.

You can get the calipers online from sites like Konga and Jumia. Michael781: well, how will I start, lemme start my not too rosy story, please forgive my bad grammar!!
well I meet this girl, last year between august-september,I'm not really sure,we somehow click, started dating,we had s.ex about 3 times in which I use protection, but during the sex i usually go 1 round without protection but the rest rounds I used protection!!..well along the start of the relationship she told me she dated two guys before me,I was like OK..fastfoward to the present, she log in her fb acct on my phone and forget to log off,so I decided to take a peep and what I read and saw,I was so shocked and betrayed,I discovered she was still chatting with her 1st bf and the reason they broke up was because she gave him "AN INFECTION",he didn't decided specified the kind of "INFECTION" but he said he spend almost about 50k to treat himself!! and this my said galfrd according to her cause I immediately confronted her with the evidence, she said she took prescription drugs, which one of frds recommend for her....now I'm so angry with myself...and she's being begging n calling ever since....
P.S :insults, criticism, opinions, are welcome.. and also I'm not from Warri, just relocated not too familiar with the place but I can find my way around!! Dude that was a very silly and risky thing to straff without using a condom. Never you play with your life like that. Go to the lab and do tests for STDs. You might have gotten a staph infection even if you say you don't have any symptom of STI's. Going forward always use a Condom for any rough play

WotzupNG: Below are shirtless pictures of Cristiano Ronaldo celebrating his goal against Juventus which ensured Real Madrid progressed to the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League.
Real Madrid moved into the game against Juventus at the Bernabeu in Spain after a comfortable 3-0 win in Italy. The night almost went in favor of the old lady of Turin when the club went 3 goals up at the Bernabeu.
However, a late penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo ruined the night for Juventus who lost to Madrid in last years' final. The game ended 3-1 with Madrid progressing on 4-3 aggregate.
Shortly after the game, Twitter was flooded with the below pictures of shirtless Ronaldo celebrating his goal in the game.
http://www.purplefeel.com/2018/04/shirtless-pictures-of-ronaldo-celebrating-his-goal-against-juventus-trend.html This is the advantage of having a low body fat percentage. Ronaldo has less than 10% bodyfat and that's why he is in total control of his body and can do amazing things with it, movements we only have in dreams. 100% Class-act

Family › Re: Please Help!! My Dad Passed Away. Please How Do I Overcome The Pains? by UDUJ(m): 9:43am On Apr 12, 2018 |
Mutemenot: Hi my colleagues!! My Dad passed away, I tried to be a man but within me im dying in pains. I have had more time here reading threads and comments just to let the pains off my mind but I haven't found a lasting consolement. May I have a way forward from you guys ? I don’t know who you are, where you are, what your problems are or what you're going through but I promise you, it gets better. Key thing to understand here is that everyone experiences grief and pain differently, now before you cringe at that overly used sentence, let me explain. Everyone experiences grief but it is up to us to decide how we react to that grief when it comes. Person A and Person B could be facing a common problem. Lets say the both of them have lost their father ( passed away ). Person A reacts very negatively by cutting himself away from his social life. Person A refuses to accept this and continues to let this inevitable scenario ruin and affect his entire life. He acts irrationally and is easily irritated by the slightest of things. He decides to bottle his emotions by drowning in alcohol. Then we have Person B. Person B understands that the death of a loved one is a terrifying moment that eventually everyone will go through. He let's his friends know not to disturb him for a couple days because he needs time to sort out his feelings and accept the reality. Person B then talks about his feelings to another close member / close friend about it. Person B was depressed, but quickly understood that this was part of life and that eventually he will move on, no matter how hard it hits him. Fast forward a couple months, Person B has moved on from this rough experience , and in this experience has even learned things he otherwise wouldn't know about (the importance of being grateful for what we have, seeing which friends were really there to aid us, etc. ) Person A on the other hand is now an alcoholic , his friends have left him due to his irritable and quick temper. He got fired from his job due to how inefficient he was and is now broke from all the alcohol and cigarettes he buys to cope with all the added misery. Now of course, this is a bit of an exaggeration, but I hope you see how important your reaction to an event is. Both Person A and Person B faced similar problems but one decided to not react negatively on it while the other unfortunately did so. Be like Person B.

Family › Re: Has My Wife Finally Moved On? by UDUJ(m): 8:13am On Apr 12, 2018 |
kapelvej: Hello all, I will try and make this simple. We have been married for 6 years and two children, unfortunately there have been very few times we have enjoyed peace, I have done everything I could to make her happy, but non has ever worked.
She insults me anytime anywhere and she does not just care, her mother and brother sometimes chastise her, but she does not just listen, her mother however recently has been agreeing to anything she says or do, even with her other siblings no matter who is wrong(this is because she got a job lately and has been satisfying her mother financially). In fairness to her, she also disrespects every single person in her family, not just me alone. Also in fairness to her mum, (her mum) and her family members sometimes think I am too soft on her.
Well again in fairness to her , she exhibited these signs right from day one, not just to me but to everybody even her mother and elder ones. I explained this to the elders of the church, but they said she will change after the marriage.
Meanwhile while we were dating, there was a time I ended the affair because of her cynical behavior, and she came to beg and promised to change. I forgave her after like one month. But then, it only lasted for a while.
Many different things have happened since the marriage, even flirtatious activities, but not adultery, I have tried to handle and forgive those things.
Presently I am working in a different city, and we had a little misunderstanding and she started insulting me as usual and hung up on me. This is what she does regularly, but each time, I will be the one to call back because, I felt I should take the initiative and also because of the kids. I have told her to stop hanging up on me and insulting me on the phone. So, This time around, I refused to call her, and it has been like this for 2 months now, she refused to call as well. To worsen everything, I lost a close family member, just before this problem, she does not just seem to care. We have been like that since the past two months. Something tells me that with this kind of behaviour, she might as well have moved on, please what do you all think.
Anything we have misundertsanding , even when I try to resolve the issue, she will be busy with her phone, no matter how late it is, then immediately she drops the phone, she says she wants to sleep, and that is all.
NB. For this six years, I have been the only person working, so this is not a a case of her being the bread winner. She just got a job 5 months ago. Dude your wife is someone we class as a Narcissist. Staying with a narcissist means staying in an emotionally abusive relationship, and it’s every bit like a woman staying with a physically abusive man. You may love your wife still, and at times she may show love towards you, but she will always come back trying to tear you down. You won’t even realize how miserable you are, and how much fear of her, and fear of the unknown possibilities of life away from her are keeping you trapped. Narcissists are extremely hard to treat. Don' t expect that anything about your relationship will change. Ever. Is that OK with you?

Xcelinteriors: My brother was 15years and he died yesterday though he has been sick for a while and we ask my mum to bring him to lagos so that me and my senior brother can take adequate care of him. My senior brother took him for a test where he was told it is kidney problem and needed urgent attention but was giving Tuesday to come for treatment(navy hospital at satellite town). Just yesterday, in the morning, he said he can't breath again and there was serious traffic on the road, so my senior brother suggested we use bike which I didn't agree to but he gave up on the road. We love this boy so much, I can't control myself please just tell me something to calm myself because the thought alone is killing me. My parent are still in shock, but why will God allow my brother to die, anyway I can't question God Take heart sis. Your younger brother is in a better place now. I understand how you feel. I lost my aunt (my mums younger sister) 5 years ago to similar circumstances (kidney failure). She left a husband and four beautiful daughters behind. Sometimes when things like this happens we ask God why us. I believe God allowed it to happen to take him out of the pains he has had for so long. So take heart sister. Your brother is in a better place.

marvin906: this happened today.. to my lil one what do you guys think about this ordinary when do you want to come to warri turned into this
UDUJ,HEENDRIX,LEFULEFU Bro your little bro is inviting the chic to Warri na! I believe she lives outside Warri. The normal thing when inviting a babe over (across towns) is to send her enough transport money to cover her transport expenses to and fro. From the chat I see the babe really likes your little bro. It's just that she expects him to at least keep a little something for her (apart from the transport fare) for her to use for her upkeep. It's a normal thing sha as long as she doesn't expect him to keep a ridiculously large amount of money. I believe your younger bro should be a student and the babe should know this so it will be very wrong of her to expect him to do more than his means. Na normal boyfriend, girlfriend stuff. Tell your younger bro to send her the transport money (if he has) if he wants her to come. If he doesn't have it he can postpone her trip till when he is able to afford the transport fare. Bro once a lady says you don't pay her bills, then there's cause for worry. As that's the first excuse for them to get another boyfriend that can pay their bills. She could also be saying that just to shake your little bro a little so he wakes up.
