In the US, there are 35 million hearing impaired residents on all 50 states of US out of total 365 millions USA residents (both citizenship and legal immigrants).

Now about 35% of scammers has been attacked using video relay software to pretend that they are deaf. That hurts 35 millions deaf people having hard time to make phone call to hearing callers for ordering pizza, make phone call to hearing family, ordering from magazine catalog, filing complaints to banks/school/organizations because of that scammers.

Those 35 millions deaf people do not live with hearing family, they are very much independently to live their own place, have jobs, have cars to drive, etc. just like hearing people do in normal life.

Or use wireless lan for connecting two pcs or two laptop sharing. It floats maximum 500 feet to each other pcs/laptop in your house. For example first desktop pc is located downstair in the living room with first main wireless lan and the second desktop pc with wireless lan adapter or receiver is located upstair in your master bedroom.

The second desktop pc is transmitting from downstair hooking network connectivity!!! Same with two laptops, perfect for husband and wife that has each laptop, that is what wireless lan card for each pc/laptop is for.

Vice versa for one desktop pc and the other is laptop too!!!

I have two desktop pc and one laptop around house, two wireless lan cards (one for desktop pc and one for laptop) hooking up from one main desktop pc using high speed internet router that acts as a host transmitting to both wireless lan cards. All three wireless lan network has different IP addresses from main host network connection set up. It WORKS FINE!!!

Do you have HP laptop starter CD installation? It has all drivers and operating system inside CD installation to restore your laptop in case of reformatting purpose or operating system replacement.

Please refer to your laptop user manual how to install CD installation. After that, then you will need to download Windows Service pack upgrade.

Usually local host network u use either http://localhost/ or 127.0.0.1

But for remoted host network (outside), you must use ftp://yourusername.yourhosting.com or ftp://yourHostIPADDRESS.yourhosting.com.

That come from your domain name registratar you have completed set up getting your FTP account with FTP username and FTP password.

It would be better if you are use either Dreamweaver or FrontPage application that has FTP connection built-in or download any FTP software or use Windows XP's website service folder(FTP built-in).

Have you noticed that person at the cybercafe forgot to log off Nairaland heading home?

I get two different yahoo ID/screennames on same Nairaland username sending me PM each day that puzzled me. I talked to original NLer about two different yahoo ID/screennames, he did not know about. Then two other yahoo IDs pop up (3 same times today), I asked them where did they got original Nairaland username. Both at the cybercafe said it was already there when they browse Nairaland to send me PM. I told them to register their own username/password at Nairaland, then send me PM. They are novice using Nairaland.

Shame on original NLer forgot to log off Nairaland at cybercafe before leaving to head home. That is TOO DANGEROUS for someone else accessing their Nairaland account to send me PM with multple yahoo IDs.

You said your people use your computer for accessing. Why don't you create your own user account for each and create your own password-protected on your account as computer administrator. Your people will be limited users. They will not open your "My Document" on your account because it already create for each user account on "My Documents" folder separated per user.

I did myself creating 3 user accounts, one for me as computer administrator and 2 user accounts for my two children as limited users sharing their folders each user on my computer accessing. It works! The limited user cannot open other user's folder that is locked for security purpose reason.

I never use gmail which is very new release from Google two years ago. I stick with Yahoo mail, Windows Live Mail (former MSN/hotmail), and my ISP webmail (other) using its own spam filtering options. Because they are TRUSTED, WELL-REPUTATED, TOP-NOTCH popular email programs everywhere in the world. Gmail from Google is just new started in 2006 the same year for new MySpace and Facebook!!!

10 years ago long before spam filter/spamblocker program was invented for Yahoo, MSN, AOL, and other ISP providers' webmails, i got 100-500 spams a day that pained my a$$. Then spam filtering option invented on every ISP providers, I established filtering all annoying words on all inbox, message body, subject.

Finally i get only 10 spams a day via spam filtering option are AUTOMATICALLY transfer into spam folder for me to delete without looking them. NOT BAD!!!

Look like noone has succeeded applying for USA student visa due to complex US university admission application and SAT/ACT reasoning exam requirement for all international students prior approved USA univ admission.

Also from my secondary school for the deaf (residential school or board school) experience, the bossy girl expelled school on the ground of raping a freaky scared quiet boy to have sex. But that boy told his horrific details very public that everyone in entire school heard. Because that boy is mental retarded. That is serious consequence of school expulsion in the USA.

It happens to every mentally-challenge people on sexual abuse that is against the law in the USA.

U are not alone receiving criticized by those people. They have no rights to change you whatever they decide. I used to be when I was your age how people treated like this. I ignored them for all my life (taught by my parent tell me this). Now I turn out fine while those people still failed.

The answer is because they are so jealous seeing what you have accomplished to make your goals almost completely whatever you want, that they do not have. Your skills, your talent, your God-given gifts, and you are only unique that they do not have.

I use Microsoft Outlook express for my business email from my web hosting server daily basis.

Because it is easy to set up maintain multiple email accounts from my web hosting server to keep track of my website and not want to mix up with my personal email accounts (Yahoo, Earthlink, AOL, Hotmail).

My friend use Microsoft Outlook to keep track of multiple email accounts (Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail) at once that she do not want go webmail each account separately that is too much hassle for her. Because she is easily forgottable to remember each username/password separately if she go internet webmail each.

It would better if you buy FrontPage template package, then you can use FrontPage to edit template at your own taste.

In my opinion, web designer is more like artistic graphic concepts to do design web page layout using Photoshop/Paint Pro Shop, Illustrator, and any artwork designing. Also incorporate template layout into web page. Very similar to desktop publisher (Microsoft Publisher).

Web developer/programmer is more like advanced technical concept to do code the programming employing actions/behaviors resulting in PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, database, Flash Actionscript, Javascript, ASP, C++, etc on the website. Also parsing any external files such as PDF, Doc, video files, audio file, mp3 into web page and do web designing job as I mention above.

All template-driven sites you buy or use that are created by professional web designers to sell their copyrighted template in order to make their money. You want to modify the template-driven site that you purchased, you have to pay extra charge to a specified web designer who make that template or use your own Photoshop/Illustrator to modify at your own if the owner of the template provided a raw file.
