You're being vague.
What do you mean by very early? What time is very early?
In ideal conditions, it take me 45 minutes to get to work.
When lagos traffic sets in, it take 2 hrs.
Bad traffic, 3hrs.
Bad traffic starts from 5:15am.
So i get up very early AT 4AM, leave the house, be at the bus stop by 4:45am
and leave immediately or latest 5am.
5am + 45mins + bus conductor looking for passengers, I get to work 6:00am-6:30.
Work starts at 7:30am.
So I get up early and arrive at work early.

I use a radio App on PC and on Google play to listen.
I just bluetooth it to my speakers and listen around the house.
Nigeria is mostly sad news and noisy music. So I keep only 99.3 Nigeria Info
Then the rest are British or American smooth jazz and meditative music radio stations.
Everyday, morning to night.
There's over 10,000 online stations around the world including almost all Nigerian radio stations on normal radio. I just keep like 15 favourite ones.

Your sister has got a forgiving heart. I have a very unforgiving heart. I would have wanted the teacher to not be paid her November salary, and be suspended for at least, 2 weeks.

The person at fault is the proprietor of the school who is paying the teachers a bad wage in the first place.

Now everyone has gadgets and no electricity to power the gadgets.

My observations so far
It takes 5 to 8 hours of sunshine to charge the battery from 0 to 100% depending on the sunlight intensity.

And guess what guys. When all the house load are on it, it lasted me up to 8 hours to use up a single charge. But when I put of the fridge, the 45watt fan and when my laptop isn't in use, it takes more than 12 hours and that's exactly what I needed.

Burning 8 to 12 hours on petrol daily will send me back to my village.

Well, since you are the one that did the installation and not the electrical guy, you must make sure you follow the basic rule of electronics. And that is, to make sure ALL THE CONNECTIONS ARE VERY TIGHT.
Nothing destroys electronics more than a lose wire that is just lose enough to allow an electric arc/spark to keep jumping across wires. That spark is called Plasma. It is neither a solid, liquid or gas. But it is as hot at 10,000 C. A tiny thing will burn and melt wires and create bigger sparks and more heat till the whole connection will burn.
I hope there's a point for Nepa to charge the inverter and batteries as well. Because you'd be surprised that you won't always get 8 hrs of Sun, Mon - Fri, January - December in this Nigeria.
