What Lagos state bought back was the LCC.
LCC was initially owned by Lagos.
The reason for buying back the place is to ensure Lagos owns the LCC after the end of the loan repayment.
And do not say nobody knows how much has been collected; more than two human rights lawyers have written to Lagos to the ministry of finance on the issue and were replied on its status.
There is nothing to hide about; even Lagos state house of assembly once did same.

am not in support of any protest whatsoever, Nigeria should know that if you want the best you ought to pay for it, even in US they have so many road that was toll, pay your taxes and hold your government accountable that is how it is done in advance country but you always complain and still yet you dont want to do the right thing

That axis is one of the corridors leading out of Lagos State to Ogun State.
