Heathrow44:Lol, what about me? People that are ready to do the right thing exist in Nigeria. Blame the electorate, that seemingly never chooses good over evil. |
Anybody? Does any Lagos resident here use government water? |
It seems mask-wearing is now here to stay in this world, na wa, like joke like joke. We thought 2021 we will be back to normal, but people still want mask wearing and social distancing to continue indefinitely... Na wa Something is up with the world today meeen!! |
TheNeededShock:Truly, the heart of man is desperately wicked. See the wickedness you display in parading that innocent woman’s picture. I almost shed tears this morning when I imagined the wickedness of the act and the wickedness in you posting this for likes. and people will ask why HELL exists if God loves us all, but do you people not see just how wicked man is? Can’t you see it? Man will be wicked and sometimes avoid justice here on earth, but you can NEVER EVER EVER ESCAPE GODS JUDGMENT NEVER! No matter where you hide, how much you have, it is still appointed one day for you to die. |
TheNeededShock:See how you are using that picture to gain likes, ordinary likes. You post a picture of a dead woman who was raped and left naked in the streets, just so you can get likes from your fellow wicked nairalanders. God will surely judge all you wicked nairalanders, you guys have so lost your conscience. Imagine if that were you mother or sister or daughter that went through that horrible ordeal, then just when they finally find peace in heaven, you suffering earthling, now parades the picture on the internet FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF winning an argument against the tribe to which the slain woman belongs. God of justice will judge you! The God that causes the sun to shine in the day and set at night will judge you. The God of Abraham and Moses will judge you! I’m sure that woman’s spirit, even right now, cry’s to God for justice, and God will wipe alway her tears. Her sins will be washed away by the blood of Jesus, who died for us all. |
Hustlearenna:Indeed. At lekki epe, every red traffic light, they pour into the roads. |
Failure of government at all level to get kids off the street. Remove kids from parent that place them on the streets Arrest the parents and put the kids in training off some sorts or adoption into a family that has the means to care for the child. This must be done with force! Zero tolerance to kids trading or begging on the roads. |
Oshigun:Lol, defender of the universe! |
They keep berating this guy, but some of the common sense developments were done by him. For example, he dismantled the roundabouts at the lekki epe expressway and replaced them with traffic lights. A move that drastically reduced the traffic along that axis He introduced 112 police squad cars in Lagos and they were actually quite effective at pulling people over at the start. He pushed for reconstruction of the international airport road that had become an embarrassment to Nigeria. ... |
thatigboman:So there is pipe borne in Bariga? |
Rossnitti:You are one of the most annoying nairalanders ever. White slave. This is the guy that will say Nigeria is poor, and can’t develop and that we should blame white peoples for everything. Okay, so who formed Nigeria, was it your black daddy or white conquerors? |
Omo, are you sure Nigerians really completed the evolution process from monkeys? Wow! God forbid. That same crowd could have handed him over to police. |
One would think that the president would hold a press conference upon the arrival of the Covid Vaccine in Nigeria. One would think he would take questions about how the vaccine is to be distributed amongst the states and how people are to get them. But still no Buhari, just the "PRESIDENCY" What would it take for the President of a Nation to hold a press conference? |
Newspapers all around the country still putting out headlines that say "Buhari Says" When will Nigerians rise up. What kind of President doesn't address reporters after school kidnappings and bombings? |
I'm sorry, but it seems Nigerians are just too gullible to the point were it becomes irritating. See everyone on this thread already believing Buhari said this, but ask them when they saw Buhari interact with reporters last, and they would not even be able to tell you. Everyone is just so comfortable having a president they never see and that never interacts with the press. But they believe anytime a newpaper says "Buhari Says" What is wrong with us? |
It looks so cuuute though. I would have kept it as a pet. It can't cost much to feed it. |
Still no address by the president of Nigeria on the happenings around, still no questions and answers session. |
All you commenters up there should ask yourselves when last you saw Buhari speak to reporters. The fact that you all just believe Buhari said so and so because a newspaper prints it is alarming. |
Which Buhari? Why is it that Buhari will never come out and talk for himself? At this point, even if a foreign country declares war on Nigeria, your President Buhari will still not be seen. All we keep hearing is “Buhari says” and “Presidency” |
Still no sign of Buhari Media continues to print phrases like “Buhar Says”, “Buhari will” |
Optional09:I didn't understand that part of his response either. Is he saying that when a crime occurs in an area, the police is free to arrest every single person in that area, whether they are criminals or not? I guess that has always been the norm for Nigerian police/army sha, to come after a crime has been committed and pack as many on lookers as they can. What more can we expect from these forces though? I guess investigations are dead in Nigeria. Have you ever visited a police station and seen even one computer there? Just one single computer? So imagine computer-less, no technology having police officers trying to solve crimes in a digital age, they cant! So they resort to just picking up random people close to the epicenter of a crime. Shameful! |
I'm close to tears, wish I could help these girls. To be raped to death by your own military. No wonder it is written that God will wipe away all our tears, cause there is indeed a lot of tears flowing from the innocent And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away |
dazzlingd:That's why I made sure to add "love for the country and it's people" |
Can Nigeria get a president from like Harvard, Yale, MIT... ![]() Like the best in their class, a thinker. and someone that loves the country and it's people Tall task I know, but we can do it. |
They should put the money here
|
walefresh3:But where is Buhari though and why can’t he come out and address reporters? At this point, even if an Earthquake were to hit Nigeria, you still would not see Buhari. Isn’t that strange to you! Do you follow politics at all in the west? Have you ever seen a leader not show up before the press for almost 2 years? |
Do defense quarters only got to know about this HUGE ORDEAL through social media? The security apparatus of this country is just so porous. Shouldn’t local police have been alerted a few minutes after the incident took place? Wouldn’t local police then be the once to escalate the threat report and inform the military if they could not de-escalate the situation? |
yudee233:Your head dey there abeg When will Buhari speak to reporters and answer questions? Newspaper still saying “Buhari Says” Will they keep saying “Buhari Says”, until 2023? So he will only do recorded speech once in a while until then? This is serious men! |
Wait... Is it not this same country where U.S soldiers came in, got their man and left? |
See skills, my goodness! May God bless us all to be great at what we choose to do, amen! Meanwhile, the croc looking all cute and cuddly there, when in reality, it is an absolute monster ![]()

My STRONG ADVICE TO ANYONE DOING SOLAR IN NIGERIA is get lithium batteries. They are expensive, but sometimes you can find deals. Those are the kind of batteries in your phones and in electric vehicles. You are probably already aware of the long life of these batteries even after they go through so much abuse, especially low charge abuse. Compare the battery in your phone, to say the battery in a rechargeable light or rechargeable fan. I'm sure you've all experienced the short life of these batteries. You charge and charge that rechargeable light and only get about 5 minutes useable energy from the battery in the form of a dim light after just a few months. So if you are considering Solar, do strongly consider going lithium as your storage source. If however, you are constrained by budget and have to get regular lead-acid batteries, especially the ones commonly found in the Nigerian market, then YOU MUST COME TO TERMS WITH THE REALITY OF YOUR PURCHASE. You must know that those batteries won't last that long, unless you absolutely pamper them, which few people would do. You would have to transfer most of your huge loads to the daytime, when there is incoming solar power and load shed while on these type of batteries. |
gaddafe:Yeah, I do use solar, and the panels are still going strong, generating power each and every day. You do have very very valid points though, I must say! The cost of solar "mistakes" by buying substandard products can be quite substantial, especially buying substandard batteries and having to replace them often. |
