Treasuredlove:
you see her every other day and yet you could not call her up offline to talk to her about her attitude but you prefer to come online to shame her.
Shame on you yourself.
One shouldn't have an acquaintance/friend/neighbor like you
My dear, don't bother yourself. He doesn't know me, and I don't know him either. he spewing pure lies .. That's why I didn't bother myself to reply him..its pure waste of time. And such time I don't on people who knows nothing about me. Today is 1st of August, will I start arguing with someone who doesn't know me?
No time.. So don't waste your time on him.
Let him say whatever he likes. The important thing is am living my life to the fullest.

Look at my dp, that's my office.. Do u think a broke lady will be able to afford such executive table? And chair? My office is very spacious, unlike the shop he said I have at Onipan.
I don't have my company at Onipan. I have it elsewhere. He says am single but I simply laughed. I don't need to make it public the day, month and year I got married. It's nobody's buisness, neither is it his own buisness.

Am not the type who will post her marriage pics online and everything that goes on in my life online. Am a private person.

Alot of people feel they are suppose to know my private life. Really? cheesy But am not the type who confides about my intimate life style or private life to the few friends I have.

So whatever he's spewing here online, is a figment of his imagination. He's talking of someonelse, not me!

And that's the truth.

Uncle, where in my comment did I say it's normal?
Cause it happens every now and then in Nigeria doesn't make it normal or abnormal.. It simply happens.
It's now depends on the victim to either reject such nasty menace in where she's looking for her daily bread or fall prey.

It's a personal decision.

The giving in this context isn't about sacrifice. The lady had money at the back of her mind after all the topic is about financial obligations. I believe if people marry their friends and not just lovers, there won't be dramas in marriage.

I hardly remember the name of girls I loved and dated in my early teen years but I still remember the name of my primary school good friends. You see what I mean?
True sha.
Cos with my best friend a female like myself, we give to ourselves everything freely without doubts or suspicions.

So marriage is now about giving? I dey learn new thing today.
Well marriage is about giving And investing on each other. During good times and standing by during bad times as well. If no one gives, and both husband and wife hold on to their monies. what will then, sustain the marriage? Sweet mouth? Or maybe sex

Fake people everywhere.
Am not supporting her

Read and understand

I said even bfs, that want to depend on babes cannot feed well, and girls are depending on them?
Any girl who depend on a bf at this economy situation will have long necks like ostrich that's what I said.
How many guys can feed well?

Let's be realistic? How much will they have left to spend on a babe.
That's what I meant..

My man still pays some of my bills and I take care of him too.. It's a mutual symbiotic relationship.. Not just him alone.

So read Biko and understand

RomanceRe: Portharcourt Based Husband Needed! by victorian(f): 9:16pm On Jul 29, 2018
Op be careful o.

Matchmaking for an aunt with a random guy online is very very risky.

Times are hard. Guys will just act a perfect script and clean her account after some months by promising her marriage..
Be very careful. She should try and socialize, dress trendy, look sweet and visit malls.
A friend of mine who's 40, was scammed several times online, she got frustrated, even travelled abroad to search for a husband, cos she feels Nija guys here are gold diggers and after her money . After staying 3months abroad, she came back. Saying Nija guys abroad are even worse! Do u know after 6months of been social in Lagos Nigeria, she met her now husband in a shopping mall, Shoprite. They dated for 4months, and got married. It's 3years now. They are still married. So dear, let her go out there and make her choice. Forget online matchmake. It's not real.
RomanceRe: She Loves Me So Much. How Do I Tell Her I Won't Marry Her? by victorian(f): 5:46pm On Jul 29, 2018
bbyby01:
You have no idea. Did you read the part where I said we had a quarrel and she cried for 2 days because she thought I was leaving her? And her friends began calling me? We hadn't met by then. And then a girl travels from another town to visit me you want me to tell her immediately that I don't like her looks? And for your information, I didn't even mean to sleep with her that first time but she wanted it. And I will never make a girl feel she isn't beautiful. She actually is beautiful, but doesn't have the features I like
If she doesn't have the features u like? U simply tell her we can be friends, nothing emotional. I simply like u as a friend on second thought. She will know immediately u are not feeling her looks. I don't pity and date. If am not feeling a guy on first date? No matter how much he tries to blackmail me emotionally that shebi I sounded so in love when we were chatting online before we met and how much he had fallen so in love before meeting me. I will look sad, feel sad but still tell him. Am sorry but seeing u one on one, am not feeling any chemistry and I would prefer we start as friends. If along the line something comes up and I start falling inlove? I will let u know immediately.
Have been in your shoes before as a lady but I don't feel pity and say because he wants me that moment, lemme fulfil his fantasy and have sex.
Even there is situation whereby a guy I met like in your case came and I said this and the next thing, his elder brother phoned me after two days, to date his younger brother, the guy but am sorry I don't want to toy with his heart and lead him on. Then still break up. It doesn't sound cool to me.
It is easier we break off as sex is not involved, than break off after having sex..

Just be straight with ladies. Even if she calls her whole family clan to beg you. You are not into her and that's final. No sex, just call it off immediately.

Don't mind him, he's still a kid.
That's Nija kind of I love you.
Quickly fork the babe after telling her lots of sweet rhymes, then look for flimsy excuse to bail out.. Assuming he didn't sleep with her series of times and he called it quits the first day they met cos of her face. I would be like wow! Do guys like this still exist?
But he has done all styles on her and he now realise her face is not perfect on her pictures online.. Lol

Life can be unfair to us in different ways but only makes us stronger.
How to curb this issue of love and all. Just zero your mind off love. Focus on becoming friends with ladies of like minds and goals as yours, then choose the one whom u feel at least u are sexually attracted to and whom u feel is respectful , both of you can laugh over any issues, a sensible lady and well cultured too. Such ladies exist.

Choose your best friend out of these ladies coming around u. Talk about everything, including family life and see her point of view on roles of husband and wife. If it's similar to yours? Then uv won a jackpot. Then romance starts.

Also If she wants to settle down with you after a while of dating and romance ? Ask her , if she says yes? Both of you map out a plan on how to get things started.. Be open to each other about your salaries and maintenance of the family and home.. Talk about it, so no one is deceived into any scam of marriage.

You will be fine, just free your mind from love. All it brings is heartaches and sorrows.

I like, care and respect my man. And am very caring in real life, and he appreciates me for that. He deserves it though, but I don't believe love exist. Humans are just too selfish and conceited to love. I don't even know how to love the opposite sex anymore, that side of me is dead way back cheesy

..vikky,ur mentality in relationship.it mayb from ur unfortunate experience, which mayb cuz ur chasing suppose wealthy guyz.trudt me with 98% of them,u get shit
I know most young wealthy guys are filled with shit and arrogance. I can never be with any of such men. Unfortunately in my past experience has always been with struggling guys and average guys. Have been very unfortunate in such kind of guys in the past. Ladies will say they dated struggling guys and average guys and we're lucky.. But mine was different. I just don't know where those devilish men Springed out from, but I thank God I was saved, am more confident, matured in my choices and aware of what I want in life.
My dear, my life even though I was born with a silver spoon, was filled with emotional turmoil and sorrows, caused by struggling or average guys. If not for God, I would have either committed suicide or been locked up in a prison for manslaughter or chained in pyschartric hospital. But Mehn, God saved me and I didn't allow the devil to take hold of my mind..
When I say have seen it all.. Trust me I have. Except prostitution, drugs and armed robbery. Have not done those three things before and I won't delve into them no matter what..

But my eyes don see pepper! I know what marriage entails and I know what it means to be single. Nobody can deceive me otherwise.
So the yarns of rich guys? Forget! There are some rich guys that are more or less angels than the poor or hustling guys. And I made the final choice of accepting a rich guy, years back which I don't regret till date.
Am really unlucky with hustling guys, before I get to love madly and spend so much on them, something will happen and their well played script will burst, boom! Right infront of their eyes. And I will be like what!? shocked jeez! What have I gotten myself into?
There and then, it's over.

Then about making it? I started early in life, cos I graduated early at age 22 and delved into buisness afterwards Everything in my life was accomplished early but I was almost destroyed by poor and hustling guys everytime, cos I love simplicity.

And exes, whom I felt was suppose to be real to me, were not real even to themselves. With anger and frustration I placed curse on all of them but later after so many years I had to free them, so I can be at peace too.

Then thirdly don't even say I was flashing my wealth, cos I wasn't.. I simply look flashy, no matter how I try to tone down my looks. I still look flashy. Even I don't wear earrings, or brazen good chains or revealing clothes.. Am still flashy, almost everyone must stare. then it was so annoying to me, cos my looks was attracting gold diggers.
But today I own my looks, I don't care of my flashy looks anymore. Love me or hate me, I no longer care. I simply live my life and be the best I can and associate with humble well to do females and males.
The only thing I take serious is business, and children, every other thing is placed at the back burner. That's me.

why diaspora,? what's wrong with the men at home
Lol, you still dey ask?

Men at home, that cant feed themselves and their babes. Go to family section and read how a newly wedded man is complaining about feeding his wife and entertaining visitors who came to wish them well on their marriage. Cause of food, he wants to run away from home. grin

And mind you, he's the one who relocated to the wife's base o, which means she is the one paying their house rent but ordinary to feed his wife, is a serious issue for him.

A lady wanted to fry four eggs, her fiance gave her a hot slap. Just because of 200naira eggs.

A neighbour of mine died of malaria, and typhoid cos her boyfriend hid in one corner saying he's in another state, instead of him to send 2k for her drugs. She's an orphan but work as a cleaner.

With all these scenarios, trust me marrying a Nigerian man is not appealing.

Nope I won't.

He's not the only man on earth, I will dust my assz and move on. No need allowing him to waste my time.

Op don't be scared u won't have a better man, even though u may feel older. It's better to marry a guy who has a job, than someone who doesn't. Cause a time will come u will get fed-up shouldering all the financial responsibilities and end up fighting him then calling it quits.. That's when your eyes will clear. Stella damascus tried such with her second husband Nzeribe, she thought she could handle it but after two years or so she got fed-up taking care of the bills all alone, then he became nasty towards her as if he's entitled to all her money
She then filed for divorce.

Now she's married to her third husband who earns money as well. So please don't try it at all. The marriage will be dead on arrival. For me? I will never in this life try such.
