this is the dumbest set up anyone can ever think of! The President knew immediately after the attack that MEND was not responsible and would rather blame "some terrorist groups"----question is how did the President come to this conclusion?. . . except of cos he already had some folks to blame it all on. What events led to the identification and arrest of these individuals barely a day or two afterwards?. . . . and if the SSS were really so smart and informative, why weren't those guys arrested before the blast? why would Mend claim responsibility and apologize? why will Dokpesi plan such an event that will leave glaring traces back to him? |
^^ Are you by any chance implying that Obama might have not been eloquent without tele-prompters? If you just answered yes, then you are clearly out of your mind! |
I'm seriously having a rethink on GEJ's capacity to lead Nigeria. it looks like the President's only way of addressing issues is to fire some, and hire others. . i wouldn't be surprised if a few weeks down the line, the bombing case gets relegated to the confines of history, and erryone simply dust their arses like nothing really happened, its just how Nigerians do things. more pathetic is the fact that our leaders have chosen to set their priorities in the most bizzare manner. . . what kind of country spends 70 million on cake and 1 billion on dustbins----when security system is sooo backward and power generation remains a dream? I'd say let's hire a Chinese President come 2011. . . .enough bullshít already! |
hehehe. . . give me my money! |
Commissioner says no arrest has been made, and he thinks no ransom has been paid, but the kids were "rescued" from a forest hideout===bullox! of cos, the rightfully bothered parents must have dropped some ### for the kids to get released. the part i found most shameful is that the government still have close to 5000 soldiers on ground in Aba, plus hundreds of police and mobile policemen, and still, their joint effort cannot smoke out a few handy guys involved in the kidnap plot, so much for intelligence i must say! |
I think this should surely pass for the dumbest idea ever! 12 billion spent on distributing rice? how does that even create long term value?. . .so what then happens when folks finish their rice?. . .people should really learn from the proverbial "teach a man to fish, don't give him one" This could have been a sweet news if the said rice was purchased from local and industrialized farmers. the only winning party here is Brazillian economy! GEJ sure lost it on this! |
Why is no one addressing the primary issues? The fact that the army gets drafted to a place to restore order over such issues that should be normally handled by the Police calls for serious concerns. In saner countries, citizens will be calling for the resignation of the Inspector General and possible the impeachment of the governors of the state. The army mostly operate outside the borders of the Nigerian state and only in certain unique scenarios are drafted to restore order within the state in such places that suffers from break-down stemming from unruly civilians taking up arms or battle terror attempts. But the Nigerian state, a 50 year old toddler is quiet different from many other saner countries, here, the Police is largely incapacited to handle even the smallest issues that would normally require intelligent hands and good working technology to solve, the result of this? of course, the army gets called upon even if two households engage in verbal attacks. summary of my musings===empower the damn police with the right tactics, technology and motivation. I wouldn't imagine Obama calling on the United State armed forces to address kidnapping issues, when a team of 5 smart FBI officials can work magic! Its beginning to make sense what Ribadu meant when he said all he needed was to train 5000 men for Nigerians to sleep at night---i believe him! |
^^ shut up you little brat!. . if you can't see beyond the writers spelling mistake's then you have no business making comments! |

The fact that many on here haven't had a first hand experience with JUJU doesn't necessary negate its existence, many of you should take a trip down to Ijebu Ode on their annual Ojude Oba festival, you'd be eating back your words! |

But the police have already swung into action and we have narrowed the arson down to the action of students who failed their examination and as such were not promoted to the next class. We will get them soon.I feel so embarrassed with this statement, one will observe how conveniently the Police spokesman made flawed attempts at massaging the Police ego. duh!. . .narrowing down the arson to the students that failed is not crime investigation. . . .its just acknowledgement! |
For your information, Ahmadinajat holds a PHD in Mechanical Engineering; he is not a fool!then he's a foolish Phd holder! I still can't understand why someone found it fit to compare adultery to murder! Law or no law, its just dumb! someone raised a valid point which no one has addressed, some donkey years ago, it was part of the laws to kill twins as they are birthed, funny thing is many retards wouldn't be banging away at their keyboards if nobody had stood up against that law. Its just really dumb to put someone to death just cos she had some with another guy, and its dumber to think the guy is left off the hook afterwards, and here's the bit of it----You don't get forgiven under such laws! |
At this point, i might as well stop reading news from Nigerian pages! phew!. . .what a junk load of rubbish. . .who gives a hoot really? |
she got what she asked for. . .its just a simple case of attempted extortion, and she found herself at the receiving end! |
AjanleKoko:Forcing people back home will only increase unemployment levels and raise poverty percentage band. The country with its weak currency has got all kinds of potentials to rival with economies of the rest of the BRIC nations if and if it could improve on its exporting activities besides selling petroleum product, cocoa and rubber to the rest of the world. |
My bad!,. . .when i read "yet cheap", i began drafting a 1 million naira check ![]() and then when i looked more closely, i observed it was "truly cheap". the car is really superb tho, so i will take comfort tonight while driving one in my dreams |
Body odor is a result of breakdown of seat by bacteria. For a start, he should stop using deodorants or antiperspirant, deodorants worsen the odour when it combines with the smell produced from bacterial break down of sweat. Antiperspirants could have been a better option, but since it clogs up sweat pores, it stops the body from effective detoxification and it also contains aluminium which can be absorbed by the body. A better option to all these is the frequent use of baking soda also known as sodium bicarbonate. This is a cheap effective method and it helps to keep the PH of the sweat prone zones of the body well balanced, the result of this is that bacteria responsible for the breakdown of sweat are unable to thrive. The same result can be accomplished with the use of lime. i will also advise him to reduce his intake of red meat, spice and sugar, as the body finds it difficult to break down these stuffs, and this normally leads to the body producing excessive toxins. The dude in mention should also maintain a hygienic lifestyle, he should try having his bath about twice a day and ensure that he doesn't repeat clothings previously worn without proper laundry. I also believe the doctor that diagnosed him must have missed a few classes as he probably haven't heard of the use of Botulinum toxin injections for treatment of chronic body odour. |

I beg to take a differing view from the OP and earlier posters. All i see in the video is a group of young men and women singing to pledge their support for an individual, that's not even illegal! I wouldn't also agree with the OP's conjecture that these people needed to have listened to some kind of debate on TV or newspaper before they make their own informed choices of who and who not to support for the presidential sit, if the OP can decided to be a "closet supporter" of Jonathan for "personal reasons" so can anybody. I also beg to differ on the claim that the whole Nollywood community is represented in the video, a headcount of individuals in the video above shouldn't be more than 30 at most, and this represents only a minute percentage of the entire Nollywood community All over the world, people do all sort of things to create awareness for whoever they wish to support for political offices, and this is best exemplified with the scenario of the former NSE boss who organized a multi million naira dinner to create awareness for Obama. The point to my whole musings is the fact that individuals represented in the video have decided to make their own conscious choice {whether paid to do so or not} as allowed in a democratic government, the fact that there are some well known figures of the Nollywood community in their midst does not provide for a base to make a general statement such as the one inferred by the topic of the post. |
Dede1:What kind of persons back their arguments using a party's constitution?. . .poor me to have assumed folks here are smart and knowledgeable Duh, he's responsible first to the Nigerian people, and binded by the Nigerian constitution, its in his duties to ensure that security systems and personnel in the country works. Who gets redeployed or sacked in such process is inconsequential as long as the Grand commander in chief of the armed forces reiterates that such redeployment is necessary. and hell, for fúck sakes, i say its about time those fat egg headed morons get redeployed, not especially considering the pathetic state of security in the country. some dolt in an earlier post mentioned that GEJ is just being insecured, seriously?. . .when the dude was confirmed an acting President, a security chief mobilized a battalion, without his knowledge and you are still talking about insecurity? common people! |
nonsense journalism all you get to read is "our source said someone told someone who said" dumb piece of sh'it! |
